Chaos Children(What Hell Will They Unleash?)

Summary:

What happens when you put 20+ superpowered teenagers in one building?

A lot. So. So very much.

Notes:

What up time to hop into a new fandom as a birthday treat!

Have I read more than one volume of this series? No. Have I absorbed all knowledge of it through friends explaining shit, spelunking the wiki, and fan content? Yes! Do I feel confident enough to accurately portray them? Absolutely not. Do I feel confident enough to sandbox this series and do whatever I want anyway? Hell yeah!

Also I know some people don't read the tags all the way through so we have both Hero!Toga and a 'UA had the dorms at the beginning of the year' AU so they're all tossed in the building as strangers.

(See the end of the work for more notes.)

Chapter 1: And So It Begins

Chapter Text

The students of Class 1-A were still getting used to the dorms. Nothing like learning to share a space with a bunch of strangers that were going to be your allies for at least the next three years. Especially as doing anything from eating, to showering, to just hanging out in the common room, resulted in social interaction

Now. There were many issues with this. Sometimes it was their Quirks. Though the rooms had some precautions, each Quirk is unique and the school staff can’t Quirk-proof their rooms entirely in advance. And that says nothing to how each person’s Quirk interacts with others' Quirks.

Sometimes it is just their personalities. Extroverts, introverts. Friendly, standoffish. People from all different upbringings with their own issues suddenly sharing a space will lead to misunderstandings.

And then. There were the prankster types.

“Which one of you motherfuckers has chosen death?!”

Everyone looked up. Expecting something normal. A fruitless effort, for sure. Because the sight they were met with was Katsuki Bakugo, completely soaked, and wearing….

                Well. Uh. Hm.

“Is that a shower curtain?” Momo asked.

“This is highly inappropriate!” Iida reprimanded.

He, like most of the group, had opted to cover his eyes. A few of the classmates seemed to be staring as the makeshift-covering did just enough when folded over and wrapped around the waist.

“You’re lucky I even grabbed the shower curtain,” Bakugo huffed. “Now. One of you extras tried stealing my clothes and all the towels from the shower room. Fess up now and I might go easy. Maybe.”

No one spoke up. Some classmates looked unsure. Was he actually going to fight someone? Or was this just bravado?

“Fine, no one wants to confess?” Bakugo huffed. “Well. You stole the sweat-soaked clothes too. Probably didn't think to wash your hands too thoroughly after. Which means if I just cause a little spark, I can figure it out. So you have five seconds, asshole. Five... Four... Thr-”

And like a shot, Kaminari had hopped over the couch and out the door. A feral grin from Bakugo, and he was giving chase.

“GET BACK HERE YOU GLORIFIED ENERGIZER BUNNY!!”

Though both had left the room, everyone could still hear screaming and explosions. Most shared a concerned glance.

“Bakugo won’t actually hurt him, right?” Uraraka asked.

“Kaminari will be fine,” Izuku replied.

“That wasn’t what she asked,” Tsu pointed out.

“Kaminari will be fine,” he repeated.
