Chapter Text
Rossi walked out of his office as he had finished writing up his report and finding that Hotch was still in his office doing his own reports for Strauss on his way past and as he was making his way towards the middle of the bullpen he found that only Spencer Reid and Derek Morgan were still working and suspected that they had decided to be nice to the girls and do some of theirs as they had already gone off to the bar they as a team always frequented after cases for team nights, he recalled that Kitten had said something about girls night and then gave Spencer a puppy eyed look to make sure it was ok as she didn't want her man feeling as if she was choosing the girls over him and remembered seeing Spencer giving her his card and a kiss with a have fun and then they were gone so now he hoped they wouldn't mind if he crashed it as he needed advice and they were the only people he could ask as Derek was still in his one night stand phase and Spencer still lacked social cues on others relationships except his own as Penelope had a way of keeping him in the know and would always give him kisses to keep him from saying anything that could land him in trouble.
Rossi soon found his way to the bar and spotted his three favourite ladies that had commandeered a corner booth table clearly they were three sheets to the wind and so before making his way to them he went to the barman and asked him to charge their drinks to his card and to keep the drinks coming and asked "what's that green bottle they have there well the green stuff inside exactly as it looks expensive and i hope you refund whichever one you charged and put it on my tab please thank you" the Bartender replied happily at Rossi's generosity "No problem sir i shall sort that now and send over some drinks for you".
With that he walked towards the girls when he saw his kitten had spotted him by her shouting in happiness "My Italian Stallion your here" and when JJ and Emily spotted him after her shout and cheered which made him feel confident in his choice to join them and there was more cheering when more drinks arrived and then he broached the topic that brought him there to his girls one Aaron Hotchner who he had been crushing on for a while and now was more sure he was in love with the younger man but wasn't sure how to say anything to him so sought out what ever help he could.
Rossi slid into the booth and the when the girls had their shots in hand they clinked glasses then drank the tequila and chased it with a vodka straight after it to help with the taste of tequila, JJ saw that he needed to vent and the subject she had an inkling it was about their boss one SSA Aaron Hotchner and so asked the blunt question on the tip of her tongue while Emily and Penelope was having another drink.
"Dave have you got any closer to telling Hotch how you feel yet or even tried to get him on his own to talk to him about this"
"No, Every time i try we keep getting interrupted by people or a case so its not exactly been easy how do you think i should go about it ?" he answered her with a sad smile
Penelope didn't like her Italian Stallion being sad so she decided to give her father figure so help and how she would make it happen for them as she wanted both men happy and content like she was with Spencer and how JJ and Emily were so told him bluntly "If we survive our hangovers tomorrow we will make sure their is a circumstance in which you can confess your feelings ok"
All David could do was nod in total agreement at his kitten's suggestion and with satisfaction that he would finally get his man the next day they had more drinks and overall a good time.
It was a good few hours later when Derek, Spencer and Aaron entered the familiar bar after the barman had phoned to ask them to collect their four colleagues who were completely shitfaced and they first made their way to the bar and settled up and was given Spencer's card along with Dave's card and pointed to the corner booth where the foursome was trying and failing to get up with laughter every few minutes.
They were all completely hammered and so Derek managed to get JJ in one arm then Emily in the other, Spencer got Penelope up and was instantly crushed into a hug and Aaron managed to get Dave in a standing position and put his arm around the older mans waist, it was Emily who with a slur told them that "Rossi said we can crash at his place" and completed her sentence with an ill timed burp after it that she found amusing which set the others off into another laughing fit.
With much maneuvering and few questions of 'why?' they got them into Aaron's SUV and then they were off towards Rossi's place which was a bonus of it only being 20 minutes away form the bar and so when they pulled up it didn't take them long to get everyone in the mansion.
The girls were put in the guest bedroom on the king sized bed which was good for them to curl up to each other, Spencer made sure they were tucked in while Derek closed the curtains or he would be bitched at by said females when they surfaced the next day on how it was too bright meanwhile Aaron had made sure Dave got to his bed which as soon as said man's head hit the pillow he was out like a light and once Aaron removed his shoes he tucked his crush in and met the guys in the living room where each of them claimed a seat before discussing how tomorrow would play out then they each headed to one of the many other guest rooms that Rossi had.
