Chapter Text
A = Affection (Are they an affectionate caregiver?)
- He really tries his best!
- With his complex trauma though it can be quite hard.
- He wants to be affectionate and loving and all that jazz- but he doesn’t really. Understand a lot of what he’s supposed to do. Human contact is so foreign to him.
- He likes rubbing your hand and just holding it while the two of you are doing different tasks.
- Petting hair is also a big one!!
- And just. Staying close to him. Just sitting near him. Not touching. Just close proximity. It’s really quite soothing sometimes
-
If you’re okay with it- He’d love to keep you nestled in his lap and wrap his sort of chubby arms around you and press protective kisses all over your head and shoulders, and laughing because you’re laughing, and smiling.
- He is not always able to reciprocate or initiate stuff like this though because of a lotta the issues described above !! also because i headcanon him as neurodivergent, and doesn’t always recognize certain cues
