The first thing Izuku noticed was how cold it was.
He was snuggled up in bed, getting some extra sleep in because they had the evening shift at the agency today.
The second thing was that there was a noticeable lack of a husband in the bed. Kacchan was supposed to be beside him keeping him warm. He didnt have to wonder for long as he heard the sound of movement in the kitchen.
Pouting, he pulled the tangled covers off and scooted to the edge of the bed, swung his feet off the side and pushed himself to stand up, raising his arms above his head as he stretched, muscles stiff from sleeping.
He rubbed at his eyes while turning and dragging himself out of the room. He was still exhausted and had no plans to stay awake for long if he didn’t have to.
He made his way towards the kitchen to find kacchan prepping their bentos for the day and getting ready to do the dishes.
The blonde looked over to see his still sleepy husband trudging towards him.
“Morning nerd, how ya feeling?”
Izuku shot him a glare, throwing Katsuki off guard. “Whats wrong baby? Did something happen?”
“You left me. I wanted kacchan cuddles.” Izuku pouted.
Katsuki chuckled, finding his husbands antics adorable. “Im sorry izu baby, I had to get up and start on laundry and the dishes, and pack our bentos. I can come back to bed after if youd like.”
“‘s okay, i go to sleep here.” izuku said as he moved closer towards katsuki.
The blonde was confused at first but then deku put his arms around his husbands neck and lifted himself up. Legs wrapping around his waist.
He snuggled his face into katsukis warm neck, cooing and humming. He closed his eyes and started to drift back off to sleep, while clinging to katsuki like a koala.
Katsuki could feel his heart swell. He laughed fondly and held his husband tight, nuzzling into his hair and leaving a kiss before turning back to finish what he was doing.
He couldn’t imagine his morning being any more perfect than this.
