Work Text:
Zaintsee AU of The Millionaire Detective
Saint as the pristine cocky billionaire detective
Zee as the grumpy ruggard inspector
Saint Suppapong Udomkaewkanjana is a man who arrives to the scene when he wants and how he wants. A plane lined with his family name, a luxury car he bought off foreign royalty on the spot—whatever works (and more importantly, whatever he wants) is just his style.
Zee Pruk Panich hasn’t been invited to said scene since he was demoted, but he shows up anyway. He’s always sticking his nose in places it doesn’t belong or just simply stumbling into the middle of the action, but that’s how he wants it.
Because Zee wants to be a part of protecting the city with his entire being. He wants to uphold justice. He’s honestly a force to be reckoned with, and that may be why he was tossed aside to a place where he wouldn’t be able to get in the way. (He still finds a way to, of course.)
Zee Pruk and Saint Suppapong together are like oil and water, rags and riches, some sort of chemical reaction that can only result in a dangerous eruption.
But they’re partners now, and no amount of money will be changing that. Saint is much too cool, calm, and collected to feel the need to pay for a new partner, and Zee is clearly too pissed to even entertain any sort of monetary exchange.
But they’re partners now, and more than anyone, Zee’s going to have to learn to deal with it.
“Would you like some champagne?” Saint offered to the stupefied man beside him as the plane lifted off the ground and took flight. “There’s Dom Perignon or Krug, though we also provide beer if that’s more to your liking.”
Zee gritted his teeth. “I’m fine, thank you.”
Saint watched him, wondering what it was this time that had the bushy browed man so agitated. He mentally shrugged, content to let the silence between them remain until the end of their journey.
Zee, however, was the confrontational type and it was not long until he put his pouting on pause and aggressively swiveled in his seat to face Saint. “Do you know how reckless your little stunt was? You endangered the whole building with your wannabe vigilante shit!” He groaned, rubbing a hand down his face, mumbling something about a “Batcave” and “he thinks he’s fucking Bruce Wayne”.
“I was making sure there would be no escapees.” Of course, Zee had ended up in the crossfire, but this was the most effective way to do it. And it was Zee’s fault for not cooperating with him in the first place.
“Do you know how many innocent bystanders could have been in there?”
“I assume not many. It was a drug circle, after all. Everyone in there knew exactly what they were doing and what they had gotten themselves involved with.”
“That’s not the point—civilians were still at risk! And, you're supposed to tell me things like this ahead of time!” Zee exclaimed.
Saint watched him coolly and noted a bit pettily, “You were the one who tried to handle the sting operation alone. My cousin and I welcomed you into our home. You could’ve stayed.”
Saint didn't think it was worth mentioning that he had wanted Zee to stay (despite the rancid smell that had wafted off the other man). He didn’t even stay long enough to eat the dinner Saint had his chef prepare for the both of them.
“Argh! You're impossible!” Zee huffed, crossing his arms and turning to face forward, seeming as if he were going to ignore the billionaire the entire five-hour flight. And while Saint was content with silence, being ignored was a whole other matter. Saint was a man who commanded and deserved attention; Zee would learn that soon enough.
He knew Zee wasn't the type to let a grudge fester, so he waited, scanning the detective's face for signs of fading anger. It was within the next hour that most of the tension in the investigator’s shoulders seeped out from his body. When he began to relax into the cushiony seat of the airplane, Saint struck.
“Inspector Pruk.”
Immediately, Zee raised his head to eye the billionaire suspiciously. “What?”
“In the future, we can work on operations like these together.”
Zee scoffed. “What, so I can watch you throw money at people until things start going your way? No, thank you.” He turned his head to the side to glare out the passenger window, scowling at the clouds as if they’d personally offended him. “Maybe this is just some sort of game for a rich boy like you, screwing around with us commoners, or maybe you’re trying to get your adrenaline fix, but my job and my life are on the line, Suppapong. If things go wrong, I don’t get a second chance; money won’t give me that.”
Saint highly doubted the latter part of his statement, but he wasn’t going to say that directly to Zee’s face, not if he wanted to avoid further angering the detective.
“It’s not like that,” Saint protested, eyebrows slightly furrowing. He didn’t know why Zee insisted on making him out to be the bad guy when they were both after the same thing, when the real bad guys were the people Saint was putting behind bars. He didn’t know why Zee’s opinion of him mattered so much to him. “I want to help.”
Those dark eyes rolled sarcastically at that and Saint frowned. He was trying to make an effort, truly, but everything he said would instantly be rebuked. The corners of the billionaire’s mouth pulled down further as he decided to play his trump card.
“You seemed…interested in Freen.”
“What?” Zee sharply said, reeling from the sudden shift in topic.
Saint allowed the slightest grimace to appear on his face. “I remember Park saying you favored women who were innocent and pure looking.”
The exact opposite of me, he thought, a bitter taste forming in his mouth, which was puzzling, considering the champagne he had drunk earlier had been sweet.
“Working with me would consequently result in allowing you to spend more time with her,” he continued.
Saint had never regretted a single one of his past proposals, no matter the inordinate fee but, for reasons unbeknownst to him, his gut clenched in a tight knot at this offer. Though he had known Zee for less than a month, the dark haired man had a way of redefining everything Saint had ever held true about himself.
Zee’s face was turning red, probably already imagining himself bonding with Freen, and Saint ignored the unfamiliar ache in his chest.
Ah, so that was his price.
Zee turned away financial assets, but a pretty lover on his arm could sway his ideals. He felt oddly disappointed in not only Zee’s shallowness, but himself for not recognizing Zee’s wants earlier.
“I…can't believe you.”
Saint internally agreed; his generosity knew no bounds, really.
“Are you seriously trying to…bribe me off…with your cousin!?” Zee yanked off his seatbelt and burst out of his seat, striding towards Saint ’s seat with violent intentions. “What the actual fuck is wrong with you?!”
Saint’s eyes widened infinitesimally as the angry man grabbed him by the suit collar and hauled him up so their faces were nearly touching. He kept his voice level as he inquired, “Why are you upset? Is that not what you wanted?”
“Why am I upset? Why am I upset? Why wouldn’t I be upset? Do you even hear yourself?” Zee spat, beet red and pale eyes blazing with fury. Personally, it was one of Saint’s favorite expressions. Righteousness suited the tall muscular man. “What kind of a douche sells out his own fucking cousin—wait, no, silly me, I forgot who I was talking to! You got her to seduce Perth just so we could gather more intel on the Wabi Sabi group!”
“On the contrary, I didn’t make her do anything that she didn’t come up with on her own. Furthermore, it worked, did it not?”
Zee snarled, rubbing his temples with one hand while still keeping the other wrapped around Saint’s collar. Not that Saint minded the proximity; Zee smelled much better now that he wasn’t on stakeout 24/7. He quite liked Zee’s natural scent, which may have been why the billionaire was so angry when the man had let himself sit in a rotten, trash-filled car for days on end, the odor from the garbage erasing Zee’s clean, vanilla scent.
“You’re always missing the point, Sup!”
Saint resented that. He couldn’t miss what wasn’t there.
“She’s your family and you should be doing your utmost best to protect her; not use her charms to get closer to a potentially dangerous target!”
Her charms? What did Zee know about her charms? The chestnut-haired man disgruntledly thought. All Freen had done was smile at that cretin and he foolishly gave her his trust, allowing her into his little illegal business without so much as another thought.
“Freen is more than capable of taking care of herself. As a matter of fact, she’d be insulted if I tried to exclude her, considering how very involved I am in my cases. It would be quite hypocritical of me to berate her for her assistance.”
Frustrated at having his points rebuffed, Zee clicked his teeth in annoyance and (unfortunately) dropped Saint back into his chair. He stood in front of Saint, arms crossed over his surprisingly broad chest and mouth set in a firm line. Behind him, the turbulence sign flashed a warning. Saint stayed silent.
“How,” he slowly drew out. “am I supposed to work with such an impossibly hopeless case like you? We don’t have the same values, your methods to solving issues and cases are beyond questionable, you treat people the way you treat money, and to top it all off—wow!”
Saint’s arms were already outstretched to catch the man when he inevitably fell due to the sudden jolting motion of the airplane. The man’s hands automatically reached out, landing on Saint’s shoulders as the rest of him collapsed against the billionaire’s body.
“This may last a while; you may stay here until it is over,” Saint said. Glad he had opted to not wear his gloves on the flight, his bare hands rose to steady the detective in his lap, resisting the urge to tighten his hold. Even through his ghastly worn black jacket, Saint could feel the heat emanating from him. Their present arrangement pleased him, but they only stayed that way for a single, blissful moment.
Zee gaped at him before his brain caught up with his current situation and location and he yelped, pushing at the billionaire’s torso. It was an odd moment of dejavu for Saint as he recalled when they were in a similar position on a rooftop that fateful day they met.
“Let me go—!” Zee shouted, shoving at him until he fell to the ground and then scrambling back to put some distance between them.
Why did he always do that? It was starting to upset Saint, just a bit—though he didn’t let it show on his face.
Zee stumbled his way back to his seat, the rocking motions of the private jet making it difficult, but he stubbornly pushed against the force of nature until he could buckle himself back in.
Zee never failed to amuse, Saint would give him that. It only made his desire to stay by the entertaining man’s side for even longer, at whatever the cost.
So Saint tried again, though the words didn’t seem to want to leave his mouth. “Inspector Pruk, if you like Freen then I—”
“Don’t you dare finish that sentence, Suppapong, or I swear to God I’ll—!”
Zee cut himself off with a groan, slapping his mouth over his hand and looking one jolt away from upheaving his lunch all over the upholstery. Saint offered the man his handkerchief, which he accepted and immediately covered his face with. He knew Zee didn’t ride planes that often, what with his salary being what it was and all, but he didn’t expect such a strong reaction to a little bit of turbulence.
“Once…once this is over, I’m going to—I’m going to give you a piece of my mind,” Zee vowed, his face an unpromising shade of green.
“I look forward to it,” Saint said, unable to tear his eyes away from him despite the unpleasant sight he made. So strange.
True to his word, when the jet had finally started smoothly sailing once more, not ten minutes later, Zee shifted in his seat to scowl at Saint.
“Look,” he sighed, his voice much more composed than it had been since they’d started their flight. “I’ll—I’ll try to cooperate with you from now on, alright? Just don’t—you need to stop with the propositions, damn it!” Saint opened his mouth to object, but Zee glowered at him before quickly adding, “At least with me! I don’t want your stupid pity matchmaking, so stop offering me things I don’t need just to get me to work with your insufferable ass. It’s demeaning and insulting and the next time you do that, I’ll—I’ll—fuck, I don’t know what I’ll do, but it won’t be fucking good!”
His previous disappointment in Zee’s character vanished completely, yet he refused to acknowledge how the detective’s words ignited a spark of hope in his chest.
Reaching up to adjust his collar, the multimillionaire cleared his throat before saying, “I see.”
Saint now knew that he had much to learn if he wanted to be Zee’s partner (and he did).
“Why don’t you close your eyes for the next few hours? You’re still tired from your stakeout, aren’t you? Rest now, so we can do our best when we get to Hong Kong.”
Zee looked like he wanted to protest, but the lack of proper sleep from the past week or so was catching up to him and now that he had nothing left to fight for, he blearily nodded at Saint instead. Reclining his chair, Zee fell unconscious almost as soon as he laid his head back, mouth falling open as he let out soft snores.
He observed his partner (the word made a tingling sensation run through him), begrudgingly impressed with his integrity. On one hand, Saint was perturbed that he had yet to find what the man's price was; never in all his years had Saint spent this long determining an individual's worth. Contrarily, Saint delighted in the challenge Zee presented, and he was determined now more than ever to figure out the enigma that was Zee Pruk Panich.
The billionaire commended himself for selecting such a high-quality person to be his significant other, though that wasn't much of a surprise. Saint had impeccable taste, and that extended to his choice in partners.
Saint crossed his leg over his knee, leaning an elbow against the armrest nearest to the detective’s seat. Luckily, Zee remained asleep for the rest of their journey, which only made it easier for Saint to watch him as much as he wanted. Saint still kept a hand over his mouth, though, to cover the ridiculously fond smile he had on as he gazed at what he was quickly discovering to be his most rewarding purchase yet.
It wasn't too long after their bicker that they came to the sight. Saint parked a little bit away so they could sneak up. Zee got out of the car immediately as soon as they parked to get away from that man as soon as possible. As soon as Saint got out, he headed toward the location, that is he felt his shoulder being tugged back by his partner.
"Don't rush in yet- we haven't even spotted the suspect-" Zee hissed into his ear.
"He could be inside right now, we don't have time to waste-"
"There could be more men in there and we have no backup! Can you be reasonable for once and just assess the situation?"
"I'm going in, either you come with or stay here and look out." Saint shoved Zee's arm off and continued forward.
Bastard- he's going to hurt himself.
Zee watched as the man walked stealthily forward to the building, but as soon as Saint took a few steps out, Thought they must've come late to the deal, because Zee noticed some guys walk out with some cases, looking ready to leave. That is until one of the men noticed Saint. He pulled out his gun and immediately took aim at Saint.
Zee gasped when he realized
No-
Zee gritted his teeth and sprinted forward as fast as he could towards Saint, he heard the BANG as he got to him, shoving him down to the lower ground.
Then he felt the surge pain in his side, it felt like a bolt, a sharp and forceful stab into him, to quickly have the pain spread through his body. He gasped for air as it hit, falling to the ground
He fell on top of Saint as he saw the men scatter the moment they saw them, alerting the others and quickly getting in their cars and scurrying.
Saint hit the ground as soon as he heard the bang, but he didn't expect Zee to cover him. He heard Zee gasp in pain and then see him fall onto him.
As the men scattered Saint quickly got up and grabbed Zee, dragging him behind the car.
"You idiot! Why would you do that! I had it covered! You're bleeding like hell! Can you hear me?" Saint was panicking, ruining his calm composure,
But to be honest, no, Zee was having some trouble trying to focus, the pain was overwhelming and didn't catch what Saint was saying at all.
"Are you okay?" Zee asked, trying to focus on Suppapong. His head was spinning, was he losing too much blood?"
"Did you not just hear what I said? Where did you get shot at- CHEN has already alerted for backup, and an ambulance will be here soon so stay awake."
"ah...awake..." Zee's head was tilting, he felt warm and dizzy, but really warm. He leaned against the side of the car, slunking into his position.
Saint saw the blood finally seep through the left side of his dirty tan coat, and quickly tore open Zee's outfit, taking off his coat and ripping open his shirt. The blood was everywhere, and he was quickly losing more.
"I'm sorry, P’Zee-" Saint murmured, before he took his hands and put pressure against Zee's wound.
This made Zee jump to the pain, alerting him like help. He cried in agony and Saint put more pressure. It was hell, this shouldn't have turned out like this.
"Stay awake" Saint hissed in his ear once more, Zee kept whining while Saint kept applying more pressure, talking to him and trying to make him stay conscious, even hitting him a few times.
It wasn't long after till an ambulance showed up, followed by a few cop cars, of which ran off to try to catch the crooks.
While the ambulance workers ran to Zee and Saint, Saint quickly backed off and let the men do their job. He watched helplessly as Zee was put onto a stretcher, his outfit soaked in his blood. He looked down at his hands,
His gloves and the tip of his sleeves were also covered in Zee's blood.
Zee risked his life for him.
He watched as the ambulance drove away while sitting on the ground in shock.
When was the last time someone risked their life for him?
Why would he do that?
"CHEN- Find out which hospital that ambulance is going to." Saint gets up and steps into the car, turning on the engine and getting ready for the location from CHEN.
"I'm coming, Zee-"
Zee woke up in the Hospital, and right after he woke up he felt the sting of his pain surge through him like a heartbeat.
And suddenly at once he remembered the events of last night
Saint-
He turned his head around in panic, looking for the black dressed man.
Is he okay? Did he protect him? Was he too shot?
Where is he-
And as if on cue, Saint walked through the door, holding some food he ordered from a 5-star restaurant not too far from here to be picked up by helicopter, he utterly refused the Hospital's breakfast.
He noticed Zee looking at him, and stopped in his tracks.
"You're up?"
Zee stared at the man holding his bag, it smelt good, but he looked Saint up and down.
"Did you get hurt?" Zee asked.
Saint stared in astonishment from Zee's statement, for it to quickly turn into his famous smirk.
"No, I wasn't hurt at all," He said as he walked around Zee's bed, to then sit in the chair closest to him.
"It was thanks to you for pushing me out of the way, which was very reckless of you to do,"
Zee gritted his teeth in response, "It was the right thing to do, but you should've listened to me! What if I didn't run fast enough?" Zee stared Saint down, trying to be as serious as possible.
Saint couldn't help but smile, "My, even in a hospital bed you must scold me anyways huh?"
"You know damn well I'm being serious here."
Saint sighed, setting the floor on the ground and leaned towards Zee, which took him aback a bit
"Thank you, for protecting me and risking your life like that."
Zee was not expecting that, not at all, it was the last thing in fact. He turned his bright red face away to hide it.
"I'm glad you're safe, just don't be so reckless next time-"
"We'll see, but meanwhile~" Saint pulled the bag up from the ground again and set it on Zee bed,
"Would you like breakfast?"
Saint gave a warm smile, and it warmed Zee's heart,
He's not so bad.....maybe......
Saint was just so, so used to having everything in the world within his grasp, nothing out of reach. Being a member of the Udomkaewkanjana family meant unlimited power and an elite, perfectionist lifestyle meant to showcase their never-ending bank balance. Ever since he was a child, every whim and wish, even the impossible, pain-tasking ones, were fulfilled like it was the easiest thing in the world. He had an army of servants who stood there, next to him like patriotic soldiers dedicating their lives to protecting the nation, ready to interpret his ideas, his desires into reality.
And then it all went tumbling down that one day. The day he met Zee Pruk Panich.
Zee Pruk. It was a common simple name, nothing out of ordinary, something that should never catch his eye. Yet, those syllables are able to invoke an endless well of tacky emotions, bringing Saint into a weird, unknown state. It was a weird, uncomfortable sensation, something entirely foreign.
It was a curious feeling, having all thoughts on his mind ending up to the stupid, obnoxious face. The bored glint in his eyes, so hungry for any kind of chance to desperately prove himself even if it means the death of him. His restless disposition, always staring, always ready to jump at the chance to save people, to help humanity once again. All of that was common, a norm that is occasionally seen in newbies where they haven’t had the chance to experience the pain, the restlessness and the feeling of being trapped, unable to do anything but watch the person die.
Zee Pruk was a breath of fresh hair, something that Saint desperately wanted to know more. He wants to explore every nook of him, wants to see the wide range of expression decorating his dumb but so incredibly stunning face. It was just so nice to see something not so monotonous, someone who has not given in to the perfectionist system. To Saint, Zee was sunshine, something spectacular on its own already, so energetic and just so wonderful. He smells like home, of warm hugs and the fresh smell of oven-baked homemade cakes, something to look forward to after a day of exhausting work.
It’s only been an hour since the lift crashed and Zee wishes he was dead. Literally. It was bad enough they had been forced to visit a rural precinct whose lift was the size of a shoe cupboard and that both men needed to duck in order to avoid hitting their heads, but he could feel himself rapidly heating up in the tiny space. It was around 3 in the morning, both forced to stay longer to wrap up paperwork of their most recent case that involved Bangkok’s mafia and around 12k worth of weed. Fitting, he supposed, considering it was 4/20. They were both sitting lengthwise at opposite ends of the space, knees brought up slightly to accommodate their long legs.
“CHEN, re-run structural analysis.” The annoyingly smooth voice of the prick across from him filled the sweaty room as Zee continued to glare at the buttons above Saint’s head.
“Mechanics still unresponsive. It appears to be an electrical failure, outside of our domain’s ability to control. It’s estimated another 2 hours before the earliest service opens, which I have already contacted.” He hears the other man sigh, eyes shutting.
“Update me when there are other changes.”
“Of course.” CHEN switches off, and Zee clenches his teeth and silence fills the air again, the lift only illuminated by a small lightbulb.
“Is there really no one else you can pay off to help us?!” Zee huffed in annoyance. Saint smirked. “Oh, so you want to use my money now that it helps you?”
Sending an angry glare back at him, he crossed his arms and retorted “I don’t think I can handle being with you any longer. I’m sleeping.”
Zee sighed. Although they had a rather amicable relationship after the whole case where Zee had taken a shot for Saint, they were still rather twitchy with each other. After all, they were both stubborn people who rarely ever complied with each others' different ideologies. Though, Zee had noticed the difference of the dynamics they were dredging on. Saint had seemed rather coy after the incident involving him taking a bullet for the younger. While Zee pretended to be indifferent, he knew he saw how the youngers’ eyes had darkened at times that was reflected on Zee’s own, he bet if the churning feeling in his stomach has anything to do with it.
He shut his eyes, eyebrows twitching in anger as his thoughts went to a dangerous area when he felt a stare through his eyelids. Opening his eyes again, he saw Saint’s intense dark eyes staring straight at him. Caught off guard, he stuttered “What do you think you’re looking at, asshat?” Saint turned his attention towards his gloved hands, adjusting them.
“You. I was just thinking how you’re exactly the opposite of my type.” Flushing red in anger, Zee was tempted to go over to him and throttle his neck. “Oi, I don’t remember asking for your thoughts!!” When his smirk returned, Zee looked away, still red. “Besides, as if I’d ever date someone like you.”
He watched as Saint’s eyebrow raised. “Oh? I don’t suppose there’s someone else you’ve got in mind?” Zee snorted. “It’s none of your business but there are plenty of guys and girls after me. And not for my financial status.”
“People only want two things, that’s either sex or money. If it’s not one, it’s the other.” Zee felt his flush return once again and contemplated breaking the lightbulb across Saint’s face. “What, are you calling me a slut now” he grumbled angrily, before realizing something and instantly brightened. “You’re into innocent girls, right? Then it’s good if I am one. Make you come near me less.” A smug smile sat across his face.
Saint snorted. “Remembering my type now, are we. Must have been very important to you.” He paused, and in the silence Zee reopened his eyes and gasped when he realized the other man had silently crept forward and was now crouched above him, nose inches away from his face.
Caught off-guard, he stammered and felt heat rise. “B-bastard, what the hell do you think you’re doing? I said I wanted you to get away from me, not lie across me like a cat!!”
Saint tilted his head, a smile lingering on his annoyingly handsome face. “If I didn’t know better I’d say the blush on your face says otherwise.”
Spluttering in indignation and feeling his face become even hotter. “It’s just really hot in here, don’t misunderstand”, he said as he shoved the other away from him but felt his hand get caught in the other’s. Distracted by the feeling of warmth he realized he’d taken his glove off. “HEY, what are you playing at, asshole? Let go!” But Zee realized he had stopped fighting back, trapped under the steel gaze of the man on top of him. Swallowing hard, his head was pushed right against the lift’s wall, one hand trapped under Saint’s and the other’s wrist in his grip.
“Feisty.” Zee wished he could throw himself off a bridge .
“W-what do you want?” He suddenly felt nervous, breathing nervously as he felt the other’s mint and tobacco breath lightly hit his face. The other’s face was unreadable.
“I don’t understand this,” Saint pondered in a nonchalant tone. “I would let you fall from a dangerous height and your jacket looks like you stole it from the homeless man living outside the precinct.”
Zee snorted. “Oh, you pinned me down to insult me? Gee, thanks, prick.”
He ignored him and continued speaking. “You call me names everyday, you’ve never called me by my given nickname. And,” he suddenly so his lips brushed right against the shell over his ear, “it’s definitely not your finances I’m attracted to.”
Zee tensed up, feeling a shudder run up his spine as he turned his head away from Saint. “The fuck are you trying to do, Suppapong?!” He grabbed his expensive suit, freeing his left hand, before realizing their faces were inches away. He felt weak under the other man as he prayed he couldn’t hear his thunderous heartbeat. Then, the words struck him as he leaned back slightly in shock.
“Hold up, you’re attracted to me??? Wh-“ his words were cut off as he felt the grip on his wrist loosen and instead come up to cup his face, as a pair of lips slotted against his own. A muffled sound of indignation came out as Zee panicked in gay confusion before realizing it wasn’t so bad. No, he was probably sex deprived and that’s why he was enjoying this. But of course, with his pride he pushed the other off and noticed a light pink across the other's face.
Ooh, he made him blush. It was most likely from the heat but Zee didn’t want to think about that.
“Hm. Maybe I do want to have sex with you after all.”
Zee knew his face must have been completely red now as he realized his pants felt tighter than before. “As if I’d ever sleep with someone before they take me out.”
Saint slightly pursed his lips. “Is this not good enough to be a date for you? How sad, I thought you weren’t a rich snob.”
Zee tightened his grip around Saint’s suit, frowning. “What kind of date is this?!” He gasped as in one swift smooth motion, the other maneuvered their bodies so that Zee was positioned on the other's lap, straddling the younger man .
“Well, I could make it interesting...” his hands met Zee’s face again as he brought their faces closer together, breathing heavy in anticipation.
“If you consent, of course.”
Wow, consent. Hot and illegal otherwise. Zee snorted and his hands came to rest on the other’s waist.
“No way are we doing it here, this is a police station and that’s a violation of- hmmph!” He was rudely cut off once again, this time by Saint shoving his hand against his lips.
“You’re such a bore, Inspector Pruk. Sorry, I’m afraid I’m going to ignore what you said, since you consented.”
Zee huffed, snatching the hand off his face. “No.”
Saint smirked. Zee gasped as he felt a hand sneak under his shirt and run over his abs and back, the other’s nails raking over his sides as he bit the inside of his mouth to not make any sound.
Saint brought his lips to his ear once again and whispered, “that’s fine by me.” Kissing down his neck, he felt teeth find their way into his sensitive skin and suck hard. Breathing heavier, his grip on the chestnut haired man’s waist grew tighter as he prayed his pants didn’t.
But, of course the universe ignored him as Saint's hands reached lower and lower, drawing circles at the waistband. “I’ve figured it out.” He spoke against his neck. “It must just be you. After all, you’re zero money, baby,” as he sucked another hickey that Zee knew he’d have to conceal tomorrow. Annoyed but feeling slightly aroused from the use of a pet name, he huffed and his hands snaked into the other’s short hair. “Stop with the money talk, rich boy.” He felt the other’s lips raise upwards against him, as his hands continued their journey down, down-
“Inspector Pruk! Inspector Suppapong! Thank gosh you’re okay, as soon as CHEN called I rushed over...” Nunew’s relieved voice trailed off as he stared at the scene in front of him. Zee instantly flushed and threw himself off of Saint, hurriedly standing up as he rushed towards his friend.
“T-this isn’t anything!! We were just-“
“About to have SEX in a lift before I came?” Nunew gaped at him. “I mean, everyone knows you two have intense sexual tension but really, i thought you of all people wouldn’t do it in a public place.” Shaking his head, he crossed his arms. “You’re setting a bad example to me, phi.”
Horrified, Zee grabbed his shoulders. “We didn’t have sex for fucks sake, and you’re not gonna say anything, are you?”
Nunew looked behind him. “No way, I’m scared of what Khun Saint would do to me.” He turned around to see a smug smirk plastered over Saint’s angelic yet far from innocent face.
“You can tell everyone, I don’t mind.”
“HEY SUP, I DIDN’T CONSENT THIS!!”
“But you consented to other things, no?”
“That’s different- hey, stop laughing Nunew, I’ll arrest you both RIGHT HERE.”
Saint smiled at the angry looking man in front of him. He’d really fallen hard, hadn’t he? Of course he already knew he liked Zee for just being Zee. (and of course, he still wanted to bang, which he would make sure to do later in the privacy of his own personal elevator). Silently, Saint couldn't wait for the future where he'd finally succeed in wooing the enigma that is Inspector Zee Pruk.
