Please love me!

Summary:

what made yamai... yamai?

Notes:

This one shot was inspired by the conversation I had on Komicord recently so thought I should write a fic about it.

(See the end of the work for more notes.)

Work Text:

"Najimi just pass me the rope there's no point-"Yamai was frantically searching the ground for something to end her life with since when Komi and Tadano left, they confiscated her knife. "There, there. Don´t die. Just apologise to Komi. And Tadano too,"Najimi wasn´t exactly the best therapist but they were right. Besides, Najimi has known Yamai for ages and she said on multiple occasions she wanted to kill herself but never went through with it. Lke when her parents split up and neither one wanted custody over Yamai (mostly because they were too busy).

Najimi knew Yamai even before her parents’ divorce and knew that Yamai always had the best intentions, a little mean sure but nothing serious. Then everything kind of just went downhill. She started obsessing over people and craved love violently. She would keep screaming “I love you” from person to person and if she wasn’t closest to the person she loved the most at the time, she would get violent towards everyone including herself . How could Najimi just leave her like this? Regardless of whatever begging for love act she did, it felt wrong to just drop her, right?

The number of times the sentence “Najimi, what the fuck do I do? No one loves me enough… am i really that pushy?” escaped Yamai was endless. She never knew what to do but to push for love. But there were more times than Yamai could count where she seemed to have pushed a little too much resulting the one she loved the most at the time to drop her completely. She never knew what to do and there was nothing she could do- it was just how she was.

Yamai can only hope someone will love her eventually.

Notes:

if you wld like to expand more on this and share your theories i would love to read them and if u want you can post an expansion fic using the yamai ren has issues tag :)
