Sirius was looking to the brunette boy laying down next to him. The taller boy had fallen asleep while wrapping his arm around Sirius who could feel the scent of chocolate and books coming from Remus. It was night and Sirius had had a nightmare so now the two boys were cuddling together like they had been doing some weeks ago.
Since he had run away, Sirius's nightmares had been getting worse and being with Remus helped, a lot.
Remus was waking up and gently stroking Sirius's hair, the boy melting under his touch, he could stay like this forever. He had thought about it, being with Remus Lupin but it sounded unreal he would have loved waking every morning by his side the rest of his life, being with him was like heaven, a place where people like them couldn't get in. But if not going meant he could be with Moony, then he would go to hell happily.
They suddenly heard the door opening and food steps approaching. They tried closing one of the curtains but it was to late, Peter had already seen them. He looked tired and confused. The boys started trying to explain but they stopped when the boy started smiling and said "Finally", turned around and went to his bed. The couple went silent for a minute before laughing together. And like that Sirius though that a future with Remus could happen after all.
