Mineta had just gotten back from a full day of "admiring" the ladies of U.A., when he saw it. Apparently, someone had the bright idea to leave a guillotine in the common room, someone probably being Deku. That loser was always up to something stupid. Walking closer he examined it, noting that it was surprisingly unremarkable. A plain, wooden frame containing a single blade. Reaching up to touch the blade, he realized a little too late that it was sharper than it looked. His finger slid across the surface and a single drop of blood fell to the ground. I'm going to kill that idiot, Mineta thought, running off to find and presumably harass Deku. Little did he know how much this single act would change the course of his life. Maybe if he'd stuck around a little longer, he would've seen the words that forever doomed him, etched into the blade's surface:
Blood will bind and only blood will break.
After telling off Deku, who seemed to have no idea what he was talking about (liar), Mineta had resigned himself to treating his injury. Grabbing a bandage to cover his wound, he looked down to see no cut in sight. There wasn't even a scar. Maybe he was just imagining things, but he could've sworn he saw it happen, he felt it happen. Putting the thought aside, he focused on a far more important matter, Yaoyorozu would be coming in from her workout soon and he needed to get into prime shower watching position.
The next few days continued as normal, with Mineta being the ever-present nuisance that he is. However, that was all about to change.
It had started out innocently at first, quick glances as he walked past the common room, secretly eyeing the object within. It wasn't that he was purposely trying to look, he just couldn't help it. It compelled him to look. It called to him, he heard its voice in his head, "Mineta…", it would call, "...come back to me." He felt its pull growing stronger every day, quick glances turned into long gazes, and even those turned into long hours, spent captivated by the object. Soon, the blade was dissatisfied with just being seen, it needed to be touched. "Just one quick slice" , it beckoned, "Hardly feel a thing..." Day after day, his head would be filled with the blade's pleading. Mineta felt powerless to resist its request and after the blade's constant barrage of begging, he gave in.
Mineta, hand raised, contemplated what he was about to do. The first time had been an accident. Did he have it in him to do it on purpose? Only one way to find out , he thought. He placed his finger against the sharp edge and slowly slid it across, applying pressure as he went. As soon as he felt the blade slice his skin, the relief was instant. It was almost orgasmic in its intensity and Mineta couldn't help but let out a moan. This set the tone for Mineta's new routine. Every day he'd drag his skin against its surface, transitioning from just pricking a finger to slicing open his palms, coating the hard metal in rivers of red. Pain mixing with pleasure, pushing him to continue. Slowly he was being drained more and more. Still its desire was never fulfilled. It needed more . Much more. And Mineta was ready to feed its hunger.
Mineta could feel the difference in the air. The blade sat waiting, knowing what was in store. Mineta knew what had to be done. The compulsion appeared, more commanding than anything previously, the blade would have its victim. Mineta slowly creeped into the room, eyes locked on the blade. There would be no fingers this time, that had simply been an appetizer and now it was time for the main course. Mineta positioned himself underneath the cold, hard steel, bracing himself for what was about to happen. Grasping the guillotine's string, he hoisted the blade the highest it would go, then with a final pause, loosened his grip. There was a whoosh as the steel fell and then the sound of blade meeting bone. A clean slice left Mineta in two, crimson contrasting as it pooled around our purple protagonist. The blade had finally quelled its hunger and Mineta was free.
