Work Text:
Steve’s never gotten used to modern suits. He’s fallen in love with T-shirts, he could live in sweatpants, Spandex is standard for a superhero for a reason. He enjoys the feeling of silk ties because it reminds him of nights spent tied up to a heardboard and of Tony’s fingers grazing his chest and Tony walking to a meeting, the tie hiding hickeys and bruises and bite. But despite all of that, he misses the comfort of the heavy fabrics of his youth.
It’s why he loves it when Tony, ever-so-caring, wears those fabrics, familiar and reassuring, just for him.
