I had noticed lately after Carl died Enid has been upset a lot running away, crying, and really pale. So today when we were alone I asked her “Enid are you okay?” She just nodded “you know I’m here for you right” then she broke down crying.
I quickly grabbed her pulling her into my chest “I just miss him Maggie” “Shhh it’s okay I got you, and it’s okay to be upset and if you need me I’m here”
I held her until she calmed down. When she got up to leave I said “I’ll always be there” she looked at me and smiled before walking away.
