Late afternoon sun streams in through the windows, making the blank walls look more inviting. The room is plain except for an assortment of toys - a little worse for wear, as though the kids who usually play with them are more than a bit rough on these. The soft foam ball in particular has seen better days, with gashes, and little pieces missing, and what appears to be a tiny human bite mark. He turns it over in his hands and wonders if it's time to replace it.
Probably not. Still has some life left in it.
"Oh, they haven't mauled that sorry chew toy enough yet?" Nemesis grumbles in his head.
A voice, quiet and somber, breaks through his thoughts.
"Izuku, what exactly are we doing today?"
"Oh, right, I didn't explain," and Izuku can feel the smirk pulling the corners of his mouth up, "we're babysitting some of my kid cousins today."
Tokoyami makes a choking noise, and Dark Shadow erupts from the raven boy's back, yellow eyes impossibly wide.
"WHAT?!" screeches a voice like hundreds of rabid crows, "there are more of you?!"
