Work Text:
“Teddy, are you sure this is a good idea?” Victoire asked.
“Depends on what you mean by good. Responsible, no. Fun, yes.”
“We’ll be in so much trouble if we are caught out past curfew,” Victoire persisted.
“And that’s why we won’t be caught,” Teddy said, turning around to look at her. “Now, close your eyes.”
Victoire did as she was told and soon felt Teddy’s hand take her own and lead a few feet forward.
“Okay, now open.”
Victoire gasped when she saw the moonlight picnic Teddy had prepared them under their favorite tree complete with a heart made of flowers and fairy lights.
“Oh, caméléon, thank you!” she exclaimed and threw herself at Teddy, kissing his lips. “But what will we do when we inevitably get caught?”
“I don’t know, but can you do that again?”
Victoire laughed and kissed him again, deciding to forget responsibility at least for a little while.
