Yae Miko and Raiden Ei have been friends since the beginning of high school, after Miko transferred to the new school.
~~Ei’s point of view~~
Not that they were best friends or anything. Yae Miko was good friend and desk-mate of Makoto. Therefore the two met. The three of them had school lunches together, walked home time to time. Sometimes Yae even came to their house. And so on.
Ei knew that Yae only was with them to hang out and spend time with Makoto. So Ei tried not to disturb them much. She peacefully read books during lunches or even excused herself earlier to go to library or anything.
But there was something Ei didn’t really understand. Yae was constantly mocking and teasing Ei, even disturbing her from textbooks and test preparations. So Ei came to conclusion that Yae was just toying with her, and tried to annoy her, that Ei would leave the two of them alone. So did Ei with her excuses to leave.

“Mhmmm its last week of school, finally we are about to finish high school, no more annoying math professor.” Said Yae while lazily stretching her arms and lying on the back of the cafe sofa, then yawning and facing Makoto to the side.
Ei sat in front of them and all that time she was looking at Yae. The thought of Miko being so cute caused blush on her cheeks, so she immediately lowered her head into book. She really adored Yae, who wouldn’t though, she was the most beautiful woman Ei has seen.
“Pfft, Miko, its not professors fault you suck at math, really” - said Makoto in teasing voice - “only if you studied a bit harder, there would be no problems at all, but all you do is staring at E…” - Miko immediately covered Makotos mouth with both of her hands and angrily whispered: “Dont u dare, traitor.”
Makoto slowly removing Yae’s hands and said, side eyeing Ei, who was still reading her book: “Jeez, Relax, i was gonna say, you were staring at the window, alright?”
“Yeah, yeah, whatever” huffed Miko folding hands on her chest.
Few minutes later Miko continued: “Anyways, Ninguang hosting a party, the evening after graduation ceremony and we all are of course invited, so don’t forget to prepare yourselfs, and dont forget about this, right, little Raiden?”
Slowly the eyes that were looking into book turned into mad glare: “I. Am. Not. Little. Im younger than Makoto just by few minutes” she claimed.
“Alright alright, Ei… Whatever you prefer.” Yae said mockingly.
“Im not going to any parties, there is no way.” Ei said.
“Pfft, you are no fun, Makoto, little help needed here” Yae, looking at Makoto, asked.
“Well if Ei doesn’t want, wh-“, Makoto didnt finish her sentence, when Yae whispered, almost begging: “Please…”
Makoto, rolling her eyes, said in her kind voice: “Ei, its our last year, lets go have some fun, I promise, its gonna be a lot of tasty desserts there, lets just go one time together, if you wont like it, just leave early. All we ask you is just give it a try, and don’t forget, desserts will be there!”
“Ugh, alright” huffed Ei.
“Classes start soon, we have to go, no more lazing around, we still need to go to school building.” Makoto claimed.
“Ughh, not interested, not going.” Sinking into sofa, Miko said, while Ei collected all her stuff and was ready to go.
“Get up Miko, now, or no parties for you.” Makoto stated.
“Bruh, you both are no fun!”
Yae stood up with annoyed face and went after the twins.
~~Miko’s point of view~~
Later that day, Yae came to twins house, they had dinner and now Makoto and her are in Makotos room.
“You aren’t talking much like usual, Miko”
“U almost said i was staring at Ei”
“But it is in fact all you do, did you really get offended?”
“Im not, it s just, she could find out”
“Find out what? Your feelings? Miko, its been almost 3 years she still didn’t. And honestly why cant you just confess. 3 years is a long time. At this point you ll end up alone.”
“I know, i just cant, I really cant, Makoto…”
“Jeez, you are such a coward, you understand it is graduation, and you know my sister is smart, do you think she ll choose random university nearby? She ll just leave and you’ll never get the chance, it is really your one time opportunity! Stop being stubborn”
“Ugh, i hate this life, why can’t Ei just notice”
“If you want something, you should take an action”
Miko knows it, she indeed does, but she cant help it but afraid to be turned down by Ei as well as she is too proud to admit her feelings in front of person she likes.
