Ei has experienced both love and tragedies over the centuries. With Aether being one of the few that remains, she will treasure their time together. Her wife is now pregnant with a pair of twins and she couldn't be happier. She knew even as the Archon of eternity, that moments like this would not last forever. The twins would grow up, who knows if they would stay if they had the same adventurous spirit as their mother. Speaking of which, Ei has seen Aether's longing when looking out from the Shogunate palace. Just being free to roam around Narukami Island isn't enough and she knew this deep down. So, she began work on a vessel that she could hold onto before she completely erodes as a certain Geo Archon has brought up before.... Yet... She hadn't expected her current situation to be the result of experimenting in creating a vessel…
Ei watched the scene speechless. There, laying in her beloved wife's arms (due to being too large to be cradled), was the prototype puppet she created as a test vessel, looking up at him innocently as he drank Aether's breast milk. Ei tried to prepare herself for whatever her wife would throw her way being pregnant and all, but never did she think she would expect this as an outcome. Kunikuzushi coughs a bit, spitting up a little bit of milk. Aether coos him while wiping his mouth with the bib around his neck, "Oh it looks like my baby boy is done eating. C'mon, let's get those burpies out." Aether effortlessly repositions Kunikuzushi so Aether's holding his back and Kunikuzushi is facing behind him as Aether lightly pats his back. Kunikuzushi lets out a small burp. Aether pulls Kunikuzushi back to smile his way, "Yay you did it Kuni!" Aether kisses his nose making Kunikuzushi giggle. "Mama, pafi pafi!" "Oh you want your pafi now?" Aether reaches for his pacifier and places it into Kunikuzushi's mouth who takes it happily.
Ei sighs, "I can't believe how attached he got to him Yae.... Yae?" Ei turns her head to the sound of a rattle only to see Yae cooing Kunikuzushi as she shakes a rattle in front of him. The baby(?) puppet watching the rattle completely fixated on it and slowly makes a grabbing motion. "Oh? Does baby Kuni want the wattle? Ding ding.~" "Dwnng!" The adults cooed at his response through the pacifier. Yae sees Ei's face and huffs, "Well no need to be a party pooper! Aether's right in a way. I think considering Kunikuzushi as your first child isn't an awful idea. Espwecuwawwy wit a cutie wike dis.~" Yae coos the last part towards Kunikuzushi who giggles in response.
Suddenly the Kunikuzushi gently holds onto Yae's face. "Ooooh. You really like Auntie Yae? What about Mama?" Kunikuzushi the grabs gently onto Aether's face. But looks to Yae and moves his other hand to place it on Yae's cheek as he currently also hold Aether's. "Oh you like Mama and Auntie Yae?" Kunikuzushi nods in response. Aether and Yae look at each other before smirking. They lean closer to Kunikuzushi's face before planting soft kisses all over his face together. Kunikuzushi only giggled in response to the kisses. Aether stops and gestures to Ei to come closer. Ei does so slowly before sitting in front of her wife. Aether looks to Kunikuzushi again, "Kuni, do you want Mommy to hold you?" Kunizushi turns to Ei who flinches. "Ei, you know he won't bite. It's good practice, plus with how fast he's learning, this can only go on for so long you know? Might as well make the best of it."
Ei sighs and gives a hesitant smile, but opens her arms. Kunikuzushi looks in what seems to be hesitancy before crawling slowly towards Ei holding his arms up. Just as effortlessly as Aether had, Ei moves the puppet so he's within her arms and on her lap. Ei gives a sad smile and brushes away some of Kunikuzushi's stray hairs, "You know, you had another auntie I know who possibly would have loved you about as much as your Mama does... maybe one day I'll let you "met" her." Kunikuzushi only tilts his head clearly, not sure what she was talking about. Ei just pats his head in response, "One day." Kunikuzushi's eyes seemed to start drooping, making him slowly lay against Ei until he was comfortable before falling asleep as she gently patted his head.
"Ooh? Maybe you're more natural at this than you think.~" Says Yae with a smirk. Ei ignores her and Aether approaches leaning against Ei's shoulder while gently rubbing Kunikuzushi's back. He uses his free hand to gently hold onto his pregnant belly as well, "You both make me feel like the luckiest person in the world." Ei looks down to see tears forming from Aether's smiling face. She doesn't verbally respond and kisses the tears away while shifting to keep her hold on Kunikuzushi and Aether. Without them realizing Yae sneaks out of the room to let the family be.
