There is a legend that is whispered in the shadows.

A legend of HOPE. A legend of DREAMS.

A legend of the LIGHT. A legend of the DARK.

This is the legend of

DELTARUNE.

Three heroes stood to the evil of a king, a dark king the evil king of spades.

The three were victorious in the end and imprisoned the evil king, it seemed like things were going well.

The balance between Light and Dark was realigning until something unforeseen happened.

Chapter Text

Dark. Darker. Yet Darker. Shadows sharp as knives, a rusty, beaten-up bird cage, rushing wind, and trees were flying by. It came to an end when the cage slammed into a large tree, and Darkness eternal took over. The sound of leaves crunching could be heard, and something picked the cage up, then something... Happened.

BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP

Noelle's eyes flew open, and feeling the clouds of sleep pull back, she stood up out of bed.

"What was that weird dream?" Noelle thought confused.

Getting out of bed the world seemed to be a bit, brighter. No, it was more like Noelle was more aware as if a mist was lifted from her mind. Noelle had gathered all the things she would need for school.

Again, her mother was not home; it was as if Carol didn't care for her.

"I need to go to school; if I don't, I will get in trouble," Noelle said to no one.

~~Hometown School~~

The class was filled with talking, the topic being, that Noelle was not there, it was not that long since the bell rang, but, usually Noelle was one of the first to be there.

"Hey, Hey, Kris, did you see Noelle today?" Susie asked, confused about the deer monster's tardiness.

"No, I didn't see her at all," Kris answered, just as confused.

"Something is not right, I think-" Susie was cut off by the door slamming open.

In the doorway was Noelle her hair was covering her face, Noelle cleared her vision to see the class staring.

"O-oh, Noelle, it's nice to see you, I-I'm not mad that your late, just concerned, please t-take your seat," Alphys said with a stutter.

"Sorry, I didn't get a good night's sleep," Noelle replied.

It was embarrassing to be stared at, so she made her way to her desk as fast as she could.

She took her seat next to Berdly, he wanted to ask a question, but, seeing the state that Noelle was in decided to wait.

"I can ask when we get to the library," Berdly thought, a bit concerned.

~~End of School~~

Noelle saw Susie drag Kris by his arm off to where... Noelle was about to find out. After seeing where the two were, Noelle walked over to talk.

"Ah, screw it let's just go in!" Susie said with annoyance.

"Uh, Susie, Kris, what are you both doing?" Noelle asked, confused.

Susie turned in shock, only to see that it was Noelle.

"WHAT! Oh, Noelle, what... The hell... What are you doing here?" Susie asked hesitantly.

"Well, I was wondering if you and Kris would like to join me to study," Noelle answered.

Susie was caught off guard, "Oh, well... we are busy... With."

"Kris, what the hell do I say?" Susie questioned while whispering.

"Say we are... Doing crime," Kris whispered back.

"We are doing... Crime... Yep, we're going to go out and commit crimes and go to prison, forever. It sucks! like really sucks, so yeah that is what we are doing," Susie stated in waht seemed like a panic.

"What?" Both Kris and Noelle were confused.

"Well, I guess, if you have time later, it would be nice for more friends to study with," Noelle said with a smile.

She walked a bit closer to Kris and whispered, "Can you please come with Susie?"

Noelle gave Susie a small box and quickly walked off, leaving the two alone in the hallway.

"I can't believe I just talked to Susie without stuttering," Noelle thought in shock.

Walking into the library she saw Berdly, who was waiting by the computer room doors, it seems beside the two, no one else was there.

"You know, if you continue this line of tartiness, you might fall out of the top three smartest people in the school," Berdly stated.

Noelle knew about, Berdly's top three, but she never thought of asking, she had a feeling he would put himself on top. Feeling like something made a choice for her she asked the question.

"Who is it that you think is in the top three?" Noelle asked.

It seemed like Berdly was taken aback by that, until he answered, "Well, I am at the top, of course, you are second, and for third. I had a hard time choosing, but Kris was second to you, making him third."

For some reason, Noelle expected that answer, except for Kris to be on that list; the last time, both Kris and Berdly were not on speaking terms.

"Anyway, if we are to crush everyone else in the class, we will need to start," Berdly said with that one look. You know the one. The one that most likely has memes about it.

Berdly opened the doors to the room, what was behind was a wall of darkness, it seemed to suck all light in like a black hole. Mist of darkness was coming out, fading into nothingness a couple of feet away. The dark looked like it was pulsing with an odd energy.

"Why do I feel drawn into it, as if I am supposed to enter," Noelle thought concerned.

Without her input, she started to walk into the dark.

"W-wait for me?!" Berdly called out in a panic.

After the two made their way in, the doors slammed shut, and the darkness dissipated, with two Lighteners.

~~Kris and Susie~~

The two heroes landed in the world of shadows like, well, like heroes. As the two stood up, Susie noticed something glaringly different about Kris.

"Whoa, Kris, what happened to your armor?" Susie asked, confused.

Kris looked down to see that his armor had been replaced with a different set of armor. Kris could not see it, but he was wearing a mask covering his mouth and nose. Kris went to check the stats.

KRIS.

WEAPON, Twin Fang daggers.

ARMOR, 1, Amber Card.

ARMOR, 2, Iron Shackles.

ATTACK, 11.

DEFENCE, 3.

MAGIC, 1.

ABILITY, 1, Greater Night Vision.

ABILITY, 2, Light Step.

ABILITY, 3, Stealth Strike.

"What happened to my sword?" Kris thought confused.

Kris went to try and summon the weapon, and after a couple of tries, nothing was happening.

"Uh, Kris, why are you trying to call your sword?" Susie asked, confused.

Kris was trying to get his weapon, until a thought hit his head, if he didn't have his normal weapon, that would mean the way of calling his weapon would be different. Normally daggers would be on a person's belt.

"If I do this right, then I should be able to," Kris thought with concentration.

Using the same power to call the sword, Kris grabbed two long daggers, which were curved and looked sharp.

"Holy shit, where were those during our fight with Jevel?" Susie asked interested in the deadly blades.

"I don't know, I'm still trying to figure this world out," Kris replied.

"Oh, I guess that makes sense, it is still hard to figure this place out as well," Susie stated.

"Wait, did it say I had one point in magic?!" Kris shouted, shocking Susie.

"Wait, what?" Susie questioned, confused.

"In the stats, before I had no magic, but now, I do have one point," Kris answered.

As Kris was looking at his stats he saw he, indeed had one point in magic, which means, he could use magic.

"That reminded me of when Ralsei said to press [X] and [C], I bet it's all nerd stuff," Susie thought, confused.

"Let's go find the others," Kris suggested.

"HELL YEAH! Now you start to make sense," Susie replied with eagerness.

The two walked into town only to see no one, walking down the road was Ralsei without his hat.

"Hello, Kris, and Susie, it is nice to see you again," Ralsei said with happiness.

"Why are you acting like we've been gone for a year? It was only a day?" Susie questioned, confused.

"Well, you two were my first friends," Ralsei answered.

"Ok? Where is everyone?" Susie questioned, confused.

"Yes, I was wondering if you could do something for me?" Ralsei requested.

"Uh, sure?" Susie replied.

The two were whispering, what about, Kris could not tell, and didn't try to interrupt and ask. After talking, Susie walked to the portal to the light world.

"Uh, Kris, I was wondering. Why are you wearing leather armor?" Ralsei asked, confused.

"I wish I could answer that, but I don't know," Kris answered.

"Oh, ok... Why does your soul feel different?" Ralsei questioned.

Kris was confused about what Ralsei asked, it was worrying for Kris, he didn't think that the subject would not come up.

Seeing Kris's look, Ralsei quickly replied, "I am a sensor, most of the time I can find nearby magic, and the last time you didn't have magic."

"Yes, last time I was here, I didn't have magic... Ralsei I need to tell you something, and I need you to promise you will never tell the others," Kris stated with a serious tone.

"O-ok, I promise I won't," Ralsei replied worriedly.

"When I sealed the fountain with 'my SOUL,' I was not using my SOUL; it was using me like a puppet, and when I got back home, I got rid of it," Kris said.

"I-if it isn't too much to ask, what did you do with it?" Ralsei asked a bit more worried.

"I threw it out of the window, flew far away, I'd say good riddance," Kris answered.

Susie walked back, not hearing what was said.

"So I did what you wanted, now where is... Everyone?" Susie asked.

Light sparkles begin to slowly float down until the entire world is filled with a bright flash of light. It only lasted a second or two, then the world was filled with life, and Lancer ran down the street.

"Heya clowns, guess who's back!" Lancer said with joy.

"So, where is your castle?" Susie asked, confused.

"It's all gone," Lancer said with a smile.

"GONE?!" Susie replied in shock.

"Yes, when Kris sealed the fountain, that dark world disappeared," Ralsei answered.

"Wait, then where will Lancer and the others from his place live?" Susie asked, concerned.

"Don't worry, we can just take over this place," Lancer answered.

The two shared a laugh.

"Uh, yes, well, I would like it if you didn't," Ralsei said with a nervous laugh.

Kris looked at his phone and saw the time. "As much as I would like to stay, we need to start our project at least."

"Oh, come on, really? Do we have to?" Susie questioned, annoyed.

"Yes, if we don't, it will cost us 50% of our grade," Kris answered.

"Oh, you have schoolwork?" Ralsei asked interested.

"Yes, but it is boring," Susie stated, annoyed.

"Susie, school is important," Ralsei stated.

"But, this place is so much cooler than dumb work!" Susie replied, not wanting to work.

"Susie, you need to learn, I banish you from this kingdom... Until you start your school work," Ralsei ordered.

"UGGGGGGG, FIIIIIIIIIIIINE, come on Kris let's go," Susie said, annoyed.

"Wait, I want to go with you both!" Lancer replied.

Before anyone could stop him, Lancer shrank and jumped into Kris's inventory... Somehow, and became a key item.

"Uh, how did you do that?" Susie asked, confused.

"I just shrank down and jumped into Kris's inventory," Lancer answered as if it was obvious.

"Wait-eth for me young-eth sire!" Rouxle called out.

Rouxle did the same thing as Lancer and was made a key item... Even when no one wanted it.

"Well, that was... Something, let's go before anything else happens," Susie implied.

She walked to the portal and left.

"Well, have a good day, Kris," Ralsei said with a smile.

After that, Kris followed Susie back into the light world, and the two walked to the library. Looking around the book building, the light heroes noticed a lack of a bird and a deer monster, or anyone else.

"Hey, what's up with the lack of... Well, anyone?!" Susie asked, confused.

"They might be in the computer room," Kris answered.

"Well... She is with Nerdly, so that makes sense, so let's go," Susie agreed.

She opened the doors and saw the room was covered in darkness; the two backed up in shock.

"Ok... This is, wait, Noelle is in there and she has no idea!" Susie shouted in shock.

Kris was giving Susie a deadpan look.

"Oh, and Berdly or whatever," Susie replied with a bored tone.

"So, we jump in and seal the fountain?" Kris suggested.

"Hell yeah, it would be nice to go on an adventure," Susie agreed with excitement.

The two jumped into the darkness, and the doors closed again, trapping the occupants in the dark world. Landing on the ground, the heroes looked to see the new world.

Susie was taking in everything the world had to offer, "Wow, this place kinda... SUCKS! Seriously? I'd expect a dark world of a computer room to look a bit cooler."

"There is still more to this world, and besides, we need to focus on finding Noelle and Berdly," Kris pointed out.

"Oh, yes, well, let's go," Susie replied.

The two went down the path of the cyber world, and they had come across some scary darkners. It seemed whatever put them on edge was still around, and it put the two on edge.

"Ok, I am not liking where this is going," Susie said, creeped out.

As the two were walking, they came across Noelle defending herself from some enemies. It looked like she was wearing Kris's old armor with a snow-white undersuit, and Noelle was dodging magic bullets with ease.

"Wait, is it my imagination or is Noelle using... A human SOUL?" Susie questioned confused.

Kris became on edge, it was shocking and frightening, thinking the thing had taken over Noelle. Poor, sweet, innocent, defenseless, little Noelle, the prisoner of the evil SOUL, forced to... F-forced to... wait a minute.

"Wait, it may have taken my body, but it never tried to kill anyone in the first dark world or even the light world. Not even the spade king, even after the shit the man did. But why did it take my body away from me? Maybe this will be the best way to get answers," Kris thought, interested.

Kris and Susie came to Noelle's aid and pacified the enemies, learning that the only thing they needed to do was to cut the cords.

"Well, that was nice, it feels like ages since we fought," Susie stated with excitement.

"Hello, Susie, Kris, I was wondering where we are?" Noelle asked, confused.

Susie was taken aback by Noelle's question, seeing the normally shy girl come out of a battle, (Thankfully one with no death), and act as if nothing happened was shocking.

"Is the SOUL in control, or is it in battles, Noelle is a person to not like conflict, maybe she found a way to bargain with it. I hope that is the case and she is not being controlled," Kris thought with worry.

"Uh... This... Is the dark world?" Susie answered with hesitation.

Before anyone could continue talking, a cage flew down, catching Noelle and flying off. Both Kris and Susie were taken off guard, in the distance was laughter, it got closer and closer... And closer. Until a flying throne came over the edge, with a woman who was wearing some sort of blue and white jumpsuit. And in her right hand was a glass of mixed drinks with an odd glowing green liquid in it.

"Well well well, it seems I can get more peons to join me," The unknown person said.

"Who the hell are you?!" Susie questioned pissed off.

"I am serial number known as Q5U4EX7YY2E97, but you foolish children may call me... Queen," Queen answered.

Susie became more annoyed and replied, "Like hell, we are calling you Queen, Q5U... 3... 7... Ugh!"

"Queen," was the only answer the monarch gave.

"Fine, why did you capture Noelle?" Kris asked, confused.

"We are not children!" Susie said, annoyed.

"Teens are just older children, and adults are just bigger children," Queen retorted.

"Well then, by that logic, you are a child, so HAH!" Susie shot back.

"Wrong as expected, I am a conputer= smart," Queen fired.

"What do you want with Noelle?" Kris asked, feeling ignored.

"Oh, she will help me in my taking over the world... Also, I might make her face a robot as well," Queen answered.

"WHAT THE HELL?! WHY?! Susie questioned, shocked.

"Why not? It sounds cool?" Queen answered.

"Well you can forget it if you want to take over the world, you'd have to fight us!" Susie declared.

"Oh, ok, bye then," Queen said as she flew off.

"WAIT FOR A GOD DAMN SECOND! GET BACK HERE!" Susie called out, angered.

"I have no time to get into a fight, besides, I would kick your ass. But, if you want to fight, fight with these two," Queen called out.

Two enemies fell from the sky, and before the fight could start the two glowed a bright light. When the light faded the two enemies were pacified and left, Kris and Susie turned around and saw Ralsei.

"Ralsei, how did you get here?" Susie asked, confused.

"Oh, well, I used a back door," Ralsei answered with a wink.

"Well, it is nice to have the gang back together," Kris stated.

"Hell yeah, it is!" Susie agreed with excitement.

The three jumped into a pose ready for the long journey to seal the fountain and to get both Noelle and Berdly out safely.

"Now let's get this adventure started," Ralsei said.

The group went for a walk, only to stop as Kris heard the voice of a gruff man speak, with garbage noise in the background.

“THIS STORY HAS ONLY BEGUN. HOW LONG COULD YOU LAST WITHOUT THE SOUL’S HELP, LITTLE ROGUE?”

Kris turned to see who it was who spoke, but only saw Susie and Ralsei, the two were confused.

“Uh, doing well there, Kris?” Susie asked, a bit worried.

“Oh, no, I thought I heard something,” Kris answered.

“I didn’t hear anything, but, if you hear something again just let us know ok,” Ralsei said with a worried tone.

Chapter Text

The cage that held Noelle was flying until it stopped at a square platform with two paths opposite each other. Once the ride was over, Noelle saw Queen walk over, with a smile and a piece of paper that looked like a document from a computer.

"Now now little Noelle, we don't have to be enemies, we could make a better world together. All you would have to do is press the yes button and all your dreams will come true," Queen stated with a happy tone.

For some reason Noelle could only wonder why this person knew her name, and why she wants her to join her.

After a couple of silent seconds, Queen spoke up, "Noelle darling, it is easy, all you have to do is willingly become my peon and press yes."

Before Noelle could respond, three people ran to confront the Queen.

"Noelle!" Susie called out.

"Susie and Kris are here to help, but who is the third person?" Noelle thought confused.

"Don't worry, we're here to rescue you, she won't roboticized your face!" Susie announced with a heroic tone.

"Thank you... WAIT WHAT?!?!?!" Noelle shouted in pure shock.

"Oops, I thought you knew already, my bad," Susie said a bit sheepishly.

"Oh, dang, that was meant as a surprise, oh well, what's done is done," Queen stated as she threw her arm up in the air.

The cage flew into the air and Kris, Susie, and Ralsei were specks, before she could do anything the cage stopped suddenly. It didn't however stop Noelle from flying and having her head slam into the top of the cage and blacking out.

~~Unknown place~~

After a couple of minutes, Noelle opened her eyes and knew she was on her back. Standing up, she instantly felt pain shoot through her head. There was the feeling of warm water going down her head, reaching back, she touched the source of the pain. She recoiled when a wave of pain washed through her head and felt like she was going to fall over. Looking at her hand, she saw red water; it had an odd scent, like rusted iron. Taking a closer look, Noelle realized that it was not water, it was blood, her blood.

When the realization hit her she started to freak out, "AHHHHHHH! OH MY GOD OH MY GOD OH MY GOD OH MY GOD OH MY GOD! IM BLEEDING! WHAT DO I DO WHAT DO I DO WHAT DO I DO?!

Before she could continue, a screen appeared out of nowhere, and it grabbed Noelle's attention.

NOELLE.

WEAPON, Vorpal Sword.

ARMOR, 1, Silver Watch.

ARMOR, 2, Royal Pen.

ATTACK, 15.

DEFENCE, 10.

MAGIC, 11.

ABILITY, 1, Fast Time Reaction.

ABILITY, 2, Frost Smite.

ABILITY, 3, Lesser Regeneration.

"This looks like a game, wait, if I have stats do I have items?" Noelle thought to herself.

After thinking about it, the screen changed and it was now showing a set of items, some were called Amber cards, and others were healing items. One was an odd item, it was called the Jevil's knife.

Before she knew it Noelle started to talk to herself, "I'll look at that later, I need to heal... And find out how I am bleeding, monsters don't have blood. or at least that is what the books say, this is weird."

Taking the time to look around her Noelle only saw a void-like room, darkness was everywhere she looked, and on the floor was a thick layer of fog. Making a decision Noelle walked until she found light, Hometown, or anyone. The more time, she walked the more Noelle noticed that she was not going anywhere, she knew that she moved but it didn't look like anything changed.

"Are you kidding me? Is this some sort of way of making me join you, Queen, it isn't working. Queen are you there? this isn't funny anymore," Noelle called out scared.

She was thinking of running but a tall man appeared out of nowhere, Noelle was shocked at the sudden appearance of the stranger and fell on her butt, the metal plating didn't soften the landing. Her blood felt cold, like something had taken all the heat from her. Looking at the mysterious stranger, she saw he was wearing some sort of coat, which covered his body, and the only parts she saw were his head and hands. He looked like a skeleton, like the monster that ran the convenience store. Noelle didn't remember the name of the store owner. Her mother never allowed her to go to the store; she always said that weird monsters went there.

The monster had a creepy smile and his face was cracked in two places, one was over his right eye and the other was under his left eye. Noelle was going to ask something until the skeleton spoke.

"I-I'm sorry I d-didn't catch that, c-can you please r-repeat what you said," Noelle asked a bit scared.

Noelle was confused, and when she was going to ask what he said, the monster managed to plunge his hand into her chest. It didn't break the surface of her armor or body, but Noelle was in extreme pain, the monster was searching for something and couldn't find it when he grabbed her SOUL. His grip was strong, and it was only getting stronger. The feeling of having her very being ripped out made her cough up blood.

Gaster was reaching his goal, but before he could finish this failure off, the red visitor, SOUL, shot out and turned yellow. Before Gaster could defend, he was blasted into the void. Noelle fell to the ground, and the only thing she felt was pain. It was bad; her ribs felt like they were shattered. The SOUL turned back to red, and it gave as many healing items as it could and saved Noelle from an untimely death.

The SOUL went back to Noelle, and the two left the void to escape Gaster's wrath.

Gaster's smile got bigger and he turned to the screen, "Well, it seems my little visitor has a favorite puppet. It makes sense, Kris rejected it, but Noelle doesn't fight back at all. This is very interesting, I hope you all like this. Cause after this point there will be no holding back, and things will become very bloody. Now, the question is who's blood is it going to be?!"

As the void closed off from the world, Gaster gave a bone-chilling laugh.

~~Unknown time later~~

As Noelle woke up, she felt like there was a lump of pain on the back of her head. It seemed like what happened was a dream. But Noelle was confused and scared, she almost died, if what happened was not a dream, and she with her friends were trapped in a game, what would happen if they died? That was a thought she didn't want to think about.

"The more answers I get, five more questions take their place," Noelle said to no one.

Looking around her, she saw a room the walls of the room were a dark blue, with cyan snowflakes like winter. The bed was soft, like a cloud, if she could sit on one without falling to her death. Looking around the room it was big, bigger than her room, and at the end was a Farris wheel.

"Wait, what! Why is there a Ferris wheel in this room?!" Noelle thought shocked.

"Noelle, Honey Darling Sweetie Gravy, I'm glad to see you awake," Queen called out.

Noelle was taken off guard when she saw Queen in the doorway, How Noelle didn't see her before, is a mystery.

"Does anything hurt?" Queen asked with a bit of worry.

"My head hurts, but besides that, I'm fine," Noelle answered.

There was the sound of running, and before anyone could react, Berdly ran in worried.  He looked around and saw Noelle. She was still dressed in the armor she had when the two woke up in the dark world.  Noelle's armor was a brilliant silver with a gold design of the Deltarune symbol on her chest plate. He took a minute to calm down so he could speak. Queen was a bit annoyed at Berdly's interruption, but quickly got back to her normal tone.

"Noelle, thank god, I thought something bad happened to you," Berdly said as he got his breathing under control.

"O-oh, thank you," Noelle responded, a bit embraced.

She wondered if Susie would like her in armor... Or Kris, the thought of both liking her in armor made her face turn red. Before she could comprehend, a screen appeared, and it was the same as before, the terms and conditions of joining Queen. Noelle looked up and both Queen and Berdly were waiting for Noelle to choose, something inside her said to click yes, and that everything would be ok. So, with hesitation, she pressed the yes button, and the screen popped out of existence.

"Noelle, I would like to say welcome to our new empire," Queen said with excitement.

"Did I make a mistake?" Noelle thought with worry.

"Oh, well, it seems my other peons-to-be are at the rollercoaster, time to go," Queen said as she walked off.

Both Berdly and Noelle followed Queen, and Noelle was hoping that they didn't need to fight.

~~Cyber city rollercoaster~~

As the three came out of the tunnel, Kris, Susie, and Ralsei were riding carts that looked like theirs. Queen came flying in from the front and began to speak.

"Well it is time for your childish games to end, I have shown you mercy, now you will be captured," Queen stated.

As the three waited for whatever it was Queen planned, three cages flew by, missing them.

"Uh, you missed us," Ralsei pointed out.

"I didn't miss, that was... A tactical calibration," Queen said, trying to hide that she did miss.

"So, what, do we fight? Or do you try again?" Susie questioned, confused.

"Oh, heavens no, I have four of those. Well, this is getting nowhere, time for plan B," Queen answered with confidence.

After saying that, a fourth cart came down, and it was Noelle, and she looked embarrassed.

"Uh, high, sorry I couldn't say no," Noelle apologized to the group.

"Noelle! Are you ok, did she hurt you?" Susie asked with worry.

Kris was taking a closer look at Noelle's armor, it was like his but not like his, a third of the armor had gold designs on it.

"Well, no, I'm fine, are you ok?" Noelle responded, a bit embarrassed.

“Ok, this is not going anywhere, BRING IN THE OTHER ONE!” The Queen called out.

A second car came by and in the driver's seat was Berdly, with his armor he had a cocky grin.

"Seriously, you asked BERDLY to be part of your gang?!" Susie said with shock.

"No I didn't, well I'll let you fight, and when you lose, you will be my peons," Queen said as she flew off.

"You'll be lucky to scrub the royal toilet when we're through with you!" Berdly said with pride.

~~BATTLE START~~

Berdly and Noelle both ride into combat

Kris grabs his twin daggers, Susie calls her cleaver axe, Berdly brings his glowing halberd out, and Noelle summons her vorpal sword. The first turn went to the fun gang, Kris used [act] and chose for all to ram Berdly.

"Kris, you're getting in our way for a new world, I bet you're jealous of us," Berdly said with a smug grin.

Using his halberd Berdly shot what looked like small tornados at his opponents most missed but some managed to hit on target. Noelle used an ice shield to raise her tp points to 95%.

"Kris, we need to ram Berdly's coaster three more times like that!" Ralsei pointed out.

"Hell yeah, now let's do this right!" Susie said excitedly.

Berdly gulped at the fact his weakness was revealed, it went unseen by the fun gang, but Noelle saw that Berdly was getting nervous.

"Is this the best you can do? Well, taste my work!" Berdly announced.

Waves of pieces of paper that looked like they were graded shot at the fun gang, but none of the projectiles hit the targets. Noelle cast protection on Berdly's cart, it glowed for a couple of seconds then returned to normal. That took most of her tp leaving her with 10% t.p. points.

Again, Kris used [act] and rammed Berdly's coaster, but the damage was redirected to the fun gang's coasters. Noelle thought she had hurt Susie and Kris.

"I'm sorry, I didn't mean to hurt you!" Noelle called out, saddened

Feeling bad that Noelle thought she hurt them, Kris replied, "It's fine, we're ok, our coasters took all the damage.

Susie and Ralsei both agreed that she didn't hurt them, and the spell placed on Berdly's cart fizzled out of existence.

"Just give up, you can't beat us, we're a dream team!" Berdly called out.

Susie got mad at that and waited for the attack, which came as a chain of energy. When that passed, little projectiles came out from the sides. This attack was repeated four more times. Noelle cast an ice shield, and her TP was raised to 40%.

"Damn, I didn't think the nerd could fight," Susie thought shocked.

"Kris we need to take Berdly out of the fight, he has devastating moves," Ralsei stated with some worry.

Again, the gang rammed Berdly's cart, this time the damage stayed to Berdly's cart, and the cart started to smoke and shake.

"You are truly playing in the mud with those two, you are smart, join us and be a part of a new world. But I know you won't so I will show you your error in judgment," Berdly said to Kris.

He threw his mini tornados and none hit their targets, Noelle didn't want to use her magic so she skipped her turn.

The third Ramming came and Berdly started to become more nervous one more hit and his coaster would be taken out.

Without saying a word, Berdly attacked with the pieces of paper, resembling schoolwork, and a fourth of the projectiles landed on their targets. Noelle chose the pasafist way and use an ice shield. The last ramming came as everyone expected, Berdly was going to make a retort, and the coaster started to shake.

Berdly knew what was going to happen and called, " Noelle, catch me!"

Berdly jumped to Noelle's cart, thankfully the coasters were made with two people in mind. Just as he landed with Noelle his coaster blew up sending it to the bottom of the fall.

"(Sigh), That was a close one, thanks for catching me, Noelle," Berdly thanked his ally.

Susie had gotten mad that Berdly didn't lose the fight, she was going to say something but Queen came to interrupt.

"Hello, my peons and my peons to be, I have an update to give. You see, I have forgotten that this rollercoaster was not completed," Queen stated.

"AND WHAT THE HELL DOES THAT MEAN?!" Susie shouted in annoyance.

Queen replied with a smile and said, "Pain, so brace yourselves!"

When Queen flew off the five saw the end was a ramp, and before they could try to stop they went off and fell to the depths of Cybercity.

~~BATTLE END, TIE, NO ONE GOT ANY XP OR D$~~

After a minute, Kris, Susie, and Ralsei got up from the trash pile that was coincidentally there. After Kris and Ralsei jumped down safely, Susie stood on top of the trash pile.

"Hey, let's talk about, king of the trash pile," Susie said with a laugh.

The metal plate Susie was standing on became unstable and slipped from underneath her and she fell to the road.

"Ow ow ow ow! That hurt," Susie whispered to herself.

"Susie, you're hurt!" Ralsei pointed out, worried.

"I-it's nothing, I'm" Susie fell to her knee, "Ow."

"Here, let me heal you," Ralsei replied.

"HEY! WHAT ARE YOU-?!"

Before Susie could push Ralsei away, he used a healing spell on Susie's knee.

"Do you feel better now?" Ralsei asked with a small bit of worry.

Susie got mad and replied, "FEEL BETTER, YOU JUST CAME UP AND-! Well, it doesn't hurt now. Hey, how do you do that healing stuff anyway?"

"What, healing magic? It's simple, everyone can do it, I can even teach you to do it if you would like," Ralsei suggested.

"I guess it wouldn't hurt if I tried to use healing magic," Susie said a bit sheepishly.

"I think there's a way to the castle this way," Kris pointed out.

The gang went down the only way to find the castle and seal the fountain. Up ahead were two paths in the road. One is going straight, the other is going left.

"Well, we have to split up, Kris. Who do you want to go with, me or Susie?" Ralsei asked.

"Hey, why does Kris get to choose?! I say I want to go this way and you're coming with me!" Susie said annoyed while dragging Ralsei down the left path.

Even if Kris wanted to follow three pink traffic cones with dog faces blocking the path, Kris pressed one it would give a squeaky bark. Walking down the only path Kris saw a huge sign that said welcome to the city. Walking past two annoying crossroads he saw Noelle, after fighting and spearing three Poppups he continued to track down his friend.

Noelle was following something, it was a pull to somewhere, she felt this pull at the castle but she didn't know what it was, but now she knows it is important.

Turning around, Noelle saw Kris. "Oh, Kris, I didn't expect to see you here?"

"Oh Noelle Honey Darling Sweetie, don't forget we're on a team you have to be my minion!" The Queen called out.

"Oh no, Kris, don't let her find me!" Noelle said with a sense of hurry.

She went into a small alleyway to hide in, and as soon as she was hidden, Queen came from around the corner.

"Where did you go, my little Noelle? Oh, Kris... It seems that both our teams hit the escape key on us. So to find our allies, we must make a temporary truce," Queen suggested.

Before Queen could continue, Berdly was coming down the same path she did.

"Oh no, Kris, don't let Bergly find me!" Queen said as she jumped into the same small alleyway just above Noelle.

"Oh, Kris, I wasn't expecting to find you here. I was trying to find both Queen and Noelle. I bet they're just waiting for me to join them in playing a game." For a brief moment, Berdly looked saddened, "But, it seems that we must join forces to find our teams!"

"Hey, no double truceies!" Queen said in annoyance.

Looking around, Berdly asked out loud, "Huh, who was that?"

"Oh, nothing, just the sound of the city," Queen answered.

"Oh ok, Kris I'll be ahead don't be late," Berdly said before walking off.

Jumping down, Queen spoke, "For our truce, keep Bergly distracted, and find Noelle for you see. Ok, it's not that Berdly is bad, I just find him annoying."

Queen walked off to do whatever it is she did.

After leaving Noelle came out, "Thanks for not telling Queen or Berdly I was here, hey if it is ok do you have room for one more truce?"

"Yeah, I don't have a problem with that," Kris replied.

Noelle had a grateful look and said, "Thanks, Kris."

Chapter Text

As Kris and Susie fought to rescue Noelle and Berdly from Queen, the time between the light world and the dark moved differently, and two days passed. A town-wide search had been done and to everyone's despoilment, the four were not found. The library was the first place that was called into question, this had never happened before to the town, and Toriel had a feeling something else was at work.

Walking into the library Toriel saw that someone else had the same idea, the other monster in the room was almost as tall as Asgore and was a skeleton.

"It seems he is looking for something?" Toriel thought confused.

The monster turned around and was shocked that he was not alone, he jumped back a little in reflex.

"Oh, I am sorry, I didn't mean to scare you, are you having trouble finding something, Maybe I can help?" Toriel said aplagetic.

"It is alright, I was just shocked, I thought no one would have been here. Oh, I almost forgot, my name is Papyrus," Papyrus replied after the shock.

"It is nice to meet you, if you don't mind me asking, why are you here?" Toriel asked with interest.

"Ah, well, two days ago, there was a special disturbance in this building. My brother and I came over to see if there were any other disturbances here, Papyrus explained.

Toriel became curious after hearing what Papyrus said, "So you are like a scientist? WAIT WHAT! Did you just say two days ago?!"

"Uh, yes, why do you ask?" Papyrus asked with confusion.

"Four students disappeared two days ago, and there hadn't been a trace of how," Toriel answered, holding back panic.

"Ah, well, that does make sense. My brother is looking outside to make sure nothing was going on out there. I only have the last room, if we find something to indicate what happened here, we can determine what to do next," Papyrus stated with steel.

The two looked to the double doors and walked over, both Papyrus and Toriel opened the doors. For the third time, darkness flowed out of those doors like a light the two were mesmerized by the slow pulsing it gave off.

"Well... I'm sure this is not normal," Papyrus stated.

"Yes, I never saw anything like this before," Toriel agreed, a bit worried.

Papyrus took two steps into the room, he was expecting something to happen.

Papyrus turned around to report his findings, "Huh, I guess it was my ima-" the floor gave out, cutting him off. He was fast enough to grab the edge of the door frame. "Um, Lady Toriel, I hate to be a bother, but I require assistance!"

Toriel ran over and was starting to pull Papyrus up when her feet slipped right from under her. Both were dragged into the darkness, and the doors slammed shut, as the new lighteners fell into the cyber world.

~~Two hours later~~

Toriel's head hurt; it felt like someone took a steel hammer to her head and used it like a piñata. The pain slowly faded, and she could hear someone call out to her.

"Toriel, Toriel! Lady Toriel, you need to get up!" Came the distant voice of Papyrus.

"Ugh, Papyrus, is that you?" Toriel asked, confused.

"Yes, it is I, Papyrus. It seems we are no longer in Hometown," Papyrus pointed out.

Getting up Toriel look around and instead of the inside of the library there was a large city, it was large as it was bright.

"Well, it seems we may have fallen into the trap, the same one the kids disappeared to," Papyrus suggested.

"Papyrus, when did you get armor?" Toriel asked, confused.

Papyrus was confused and looked at what he was wearing; he was wearing a full metal suit of armor, and at the end of every piece of armor was a yellow edge. On his back was a flowing red cape, at the end it looked like it was through a battle, but it just made it look cooler. Instead of a helmet, he was wearing a hat that a musketeer would own, how Papyrus didn't notice would forever be a mystery.

"Wowie, this is awesome! You also seemed to have gone through the same thing as I did," Papyrus pointed out.

Like Papyrus, Toriel was not wearing her normal clothing, instead, she was wearing a long-sleeved tabard with the Delta rune on the front. The sleeves were white while the rest was royal purple, she also had a large rimmed pointed purple hat with a white ring at the end of the rim.

"Well, this is new, but we need to find the kids before something bad happens," Toriel said worriedly.

"Well, that pillar of... Flowing darkness seems like a good start. We could find help there," Papyrus suggested.

The two made their way to the fountain, not knowing this self-made quest would show them a whole new side of the world.

~~Meanwhile~~

Walking down the alleyway both Kris nor Noelle hadn't said a word since they joined teams. Kris was weary of Noelle's condition and was thinking of the best way to subdue her if the SOUL did go on some killing spree. To Noelle, it was hard to work with Kris and the other one, she didn't know who this other one was but, it seemed they were there to stay. The two walked into a rectangular space of the alleyway, and on the other side was Berdly.

Noelle saw Berdly and got a bad feeling, "Uh oh."

"Noelle, what are you doing with Kris?" Berdly asked, confused.

"Well, I, uh, we have a truce," Noelle answered hesitantly.

"What?! A truce with Kris? Ha ha ha ha ha, you can't do a double trucies," Berdly said with confidence.

Noelle was shocked and asked, "What?"

"Ah, yes, I understand, I see now, you're being forced into this, right?" Berdly asked with kindness.

"You do, you understand?" Noelle responded with hope.

"Yes, I know you want to fight it, not to be a part of this evil plot," Berdly answered.

Noelle became happy that Berdly saw that Queen lied, "Thank you, Berdly, I was hoping th-"

"That Kris is forcing you to go against Queen! Kriss you kidnapper! our truce is off, prepare to feel my blade!" Berdly announced.

"You got the wrong idea!" Noelle called out, but it was too late, and the battlefield formed around them.

~~BATTLE START~~

Berdly blocks your path

"Fear not, Noelle, I will defeat the evil Kris and save you!" Berdly announced with pride.

Small white tornadoes circled into the center of the battleground, and it repeated six times. Half of the attacks struck true, and it was realized that fighting was a necessary need, not to a dangerous level, but to get the point across. Kris was annoyed by Berdly's earlier accusation of being a 'kidnapper' of Noelle; if anyone was one, it would be Queen.

Kris used a Stealth strike, and Noelle used ice shock, both landing hard hits.

"That was nothing, unlike you, I have real allies," Berdly stated with a small hint of anger.

Two Werewires showed up and stood by Berdly, ready to attack, and all three did. Berdly threw magic papers while the Werewires fired white lasers. The two were dodging the attacks as best as they could, but one of the light beams managed to hit Noelle on her right shoulder, damaging the armor and leaving a bad burn, though no one saw. There was the smell of burnt flesh and metal, as hard as she tried, it was painful to move the arm; every attempt would leave waves of pain. Looking at Kris, he was in no better shape, those papers had done several cuts, the two needed to finish the fight, and fast, or at least get rid of Berdly's backup.

"It may hurt now, my dear Noelle, but you will be free and we will be back with Queen soon," Berdly said, oblivious to what was happening.

Kris used his shield, and Noelle, struggling, used sleep mist, pacifying the Werewires. Looking around, Berdly was shocked that both his 'allies' were gone.

"W-what, where did my allies go?! No matter, I can take you down myself," Berdly retorted with nervousness in his voice.

Berdly attacked but was mostly unsuccessful in taking down the two. Both Kris and Noelle used a joint attack. Berdly felt the blow, and before he tried to attack again, his will to fight was gone. He fell to his knees, and the battle ended with the area disappearing.

~~BATTLE END, KRIS AND NOELLE WIN, THEY GOT 0 XP AND 29 D$~~

"D-damn it, how could I lose?!" Berdly asked himself, annoyed.

Noelle was concerned for Berdly's safety, "Berdly are you ok? Kris, maybe we should have gone easy on him."

"Ha, gone easy, the only one on easy mode was me!" Berdly responded with pride, hiding his annoyance.

"You look tired," Noelle pointed out with worry.

"Tired of holding back my true power! Dear Noelle, how it would be so easy to rescue you right now, so I'll let you be," Berdly said with... 'humbleness' in his voice.

"So that's it, we just go our separate ways?" Kris questioned, confused.

"For now, but get stronger, and I might consider you my rival. Man, I sound so awesome!" Berdly said, then walked off.

When Berdly walked off, a save point appeared and Kris used it to save.

*AFTER DEFEATING BERDLY A CERTAIN SCENT HANGS IN THE AIR... YOU ARE NOW FILLED WITH THE POWER OF CHICKEN NUGGETS*

Both Kris and Noelle's injuries were healed with their armor repaired, and Noelle was content with having all feeling return to her right arm.

"That was scary, thankfully Kris was there to help," Noelle thought to herself.

Kris was reviewing the fight, and again, he didn't see any control from the SOUL.

"Then again, no one could have ever known that I was controlled by it," Kris said to himself.

The two walked down the straight path and after a while they came across a crosswalk that had two rows of traffic cones blocking traffic. The odd sight was passed with no thought and before they could continue they heard Queen walking their way. Without hesitation, Noelle put her makeshift mask on to hide her face.

"Noelle where are you, I just baked you a fresh battery acid pie!" The Queen called out.

Trying to find Noelle was going to be harder for Queen than she realized, and before walking off, she saw Kris.

"Ah, Kris, good timing!" She threw the pie behind her to the ground, where it exploded, but without exploding. "There you are, have you seen-" Before Queen could continue, she was cut off by the distant sound of Berdly.

"Oh no, it's him, Kris, get in the car!" Queen ordered.

A car drove in reverse, and the three got in, and Berdly came over.

"Huh, I could have sworn she was here, I may have missed her, it would be a shame to let this gamer delight (the same pie Queen had) go to waste, Berdly said to no one.

He walked off, and Queen, Kris, and Noelle drove off.

"Ah, so much Traffic, isn't it so lovely, Lightners love traffic with how much they look it up. Noelle would have loved this," Queen said, a bit saddened.

Kris was about to say something before being cut off by Queen," Stop everything! Kris, get, that, BANANA!"

The three saw a floating banana in the street, driving to the fruit Kris managed to get the road item and gave it to Queen.

The only thing Queen said was, "Potassium."

Driving fowared, Kris stopped when the road ahead was filled from end to end with cars.

"Oh, my circuits! This is the traffic jam, I bet there's a dog in the road, Kris, go to the other side and press the walk button," Queen ordered.

"Maybe I should go instead, I don't know how to drive the car. And it would be easier for Kris to drive it over when the button is pushed," Noelle suggested, masking her voice.

"Hm... That... Makes sense! Go, Kris, you can stay and hear my mixtapes," Queen agreed.

Kris was not happy that he was forced to stay and listen to mixtapes, Noelle got out of the car and made her way to the other side. The alleyway was dark but there was enough light to make it passable to walk down, turning the corner there was a dumpster.

"Odd place to have one here, wouldn't a dumpster be harder to empty in an alleyway?" Noelle thought confused.

Before getting to the halfway point, the lid to the dumpster flew open and a short man slowly got out. He was wearing a business suit, with a white turtleneck sweater underneath, his hair was combed back and the glasses had a pink and yellow lens.

"HEY EVERY !! IT'S ME!!! EV3RY BUDDY 'S FAVORITE [[Number 1 Rated Salesman1997]] SPAMT SPAMTON G. SPAMTON!! HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!" The man named Spamton announced.

Noelle thought she was used to what this world had to offer, but this was a whole new thing.

Spamton noticed Noelle and continued to talk, "WOAH!! IF IT ISN"T A... LIGHT nER! HEY-HE Y HEY!!! LOOKS LIKE YOU'RE [[All Alone On A Late Night?]] ALL YOUR FRIENDS, [[Abandoned you for the slime]] YOU ARE? SALES, GONE DOWN THE [[Drain]] [[Drain]]?? LIVING IN A GODDAMN GARBAGE CAN??? HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!"

"Uh, I'm sorry but I don't understand what you mean?" Noelle said, trying to understand what was happening.

"WELL HAVE I GOT A [[Specil Deal]] FOR LONELY [[Hearts]] LIKE YOU!! IF YOU'VE [[Lost Control Of Your Life]] THEN YOU JUST GOTTA GRAB IT BY THE [[Silly Strings]] WHY BE THE [[Little Sponge]] WHO HATES ITS [[$4.99]] LIFE WHEN YOU CAN BE A [[BIG SHOT!!!]] [[BIG SHOT!!!!]] [[BIG SHOT!!!!!]]. THAT'S RIGHT!! NOW'S YOUR CHANCE TO BE A [[BIG SHOT]]!! AND I HAVE JUST. THE THING. YOU NEED. THAT'S [[Hyperlink Blocked]] HAHAHAHAHAHAHA! YOU WANT IT. YOU WANT [[Hyperlink Blocked]] DON'T YOU? WELL HAVE I GOT A DEAL FOR YOU!!" Spamton said almost not breathing for a minute.

"What... Is this... Hyperlink blocked?" Noelle asked, concerned for her safety.

"ALL YOU HAVE TO DO IS SHOW ME. YOUR [[HeartShapedObject]]. YOU'RE LIGHT neR< AREN'T YOU? YOUVE GOT THE [[LIGHT.]] WHY DON'T YOU [[Show it off?]] HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!"

~~BATTLE START~~

Don't you want to be a BIG SHOT?

"Wait, what?!" Noelle questioned, shocked that she was pulled into a battle.

Noelle was looking through the options that she had for Spamton only three were available. The first was check, the second was deal, and the third was, heal deal, she didn't have enough for that so she went for the deal choice.

Spamton was observing Noelle and then spoke, "HEY HEY HEY! I'VE NEVER SEEN A [[HeartShapedObject]] LIKE THAT BEFORE! MY EYES ARE [[Burning]] LIKE [[DVDs of any movie at Half-price]] I HAVE A VERY SPECIAL DEAL FOR YOU KID!"

Two choices made themselves known: tell me more or not interested.

"I feel that I should go with the first one," Noelle thought nervously.

Spamton responded quickly after the choice was made, "THAT'S THE ATTITUDE YOU LITTLE [[Slime]] DEALS LIKE THIS ONLY ONCE IN YOUR [[Ant-sized]] [[Rapidly-shrinking]] LIFE! MEET LOCAL SINGLES STRAIGHT FROM [My]"

Spamton's head grew, and tiny versions of himself came out from his mouth, which made Noelle feel horrified at the attack. She did everything to avoid the mini Spamton some managed to land hits on her.

"I USED TO BE A BIG SHOT. THE BIGGEST!!! BUT NOW... I NEED A LITTLE [[Genorisity]]" Spamton stated.

Noelle felt bad and thought it wouldn't hurt to give some of her money to Spamton.

"YUM YUM DELICIS KROMER, DO YOU HAVE MORE?" Spamton said happily.

Even though Noelle did what she thought was the right thing, something in her mind said that may have not been the best choice.

Spamton's head grew again but this time words came out, it was difficult but Noelle managed to dodge them all.

"YUM YUM I NEED A LITTLE MORE [Genorisity]" Spamton requested.

Instead of giving any, Noelle refused and prepared to fight.

Spamton was happy that she didn't give any money, "THAT'S RIGHT AND I DON'T MEAN [Money]!!! I'M A SALESMAN I WAS NEVER IN IT FOR THE MONEY!! Get big WIN [Wild Prizes!]"

The same attack came and Noelle had an easier time dodging, while she was not hit, her tp was growing.

This made Noelle creeped out at what was being said, she was going to say something when something popped up. Again, there were two options: one was to not take the deal, and the other was to take the deal. Choosing the second, Noelle was hoping she was not making a bad choice.

"NOW THAT'S WHAT I'M TALKING ABO4T! YOU GOT [Guts] KID!! THAT's [[Discomfort And Abdominal Pain]] IN MY [[Guts]]!!" Spmaton said with excitement.

And once again Spamton's head got bigger but instead of something coming out, there was a pull and magic dollar signs were flying into his mouth.

"THIS NIGHTMARE KEEPS GETTING WORSE!" Noelle shouted in her head.

Thankfully, the assault didn't last long, and everything was semi-back to normal. Noelle used the heal deal, her health raised, and Spamton started to speak.

"DON'T WORRY KID I WILL GIVE YOU [Deal Insurance] ONLY FOR THE LOW LOW PRICE OF 1000 KROMER. AN AWESOME PRICE.! AN ABSOLUTELY [[Terrifying]] PRICE PRICES SO LOW EVERYONE I KNOW IS [[Dead]]!!!"

Noelle chose not to get whatever this insurance is without thinking about it.

"WHAT?! YOU DOn'T HAVE ENOUGH [Wacky Stacks]!? KID YOU'RE [kILLING] me! HAHAHAHAHAHAHA! PLEASE STOP [Killing] ME I WILL GIVE Y OU ANTHER DEAL."

It was getting annoying being attacked with words, but this battle was far from normal.

Spamton was shaking with excitement, "DON'T WORRY KID I'M AN [HonestMan]. I JUST NEED YOUR [Account Details] AND THE [Number on theB4ck]!"

It was obvious this was a trick. Noelle refused and waited for the response.

"WHAT YOU DON'T NEED IT?!?! THAT'S A REAL BIGSHOT MOVE KID!!! YOU'RE LIKE ME... [Desperate] BUT WE KNOW WHAT WE WANT' DONT WE?! W1LD PR1ZES HOTSINGLES 100 CUSTOMER AND MOST OF ALL... [Hyperlink Blocked]. WILL YOU TAKE THE FINAL DEAL! REMBER THIS IS UP TO YOU I WOn'T force you," Spamton offered.

It was up to this moment that the fight was having its full effects on Noelle and just to end the fight she took the deal.

Spamton was happy with what happened, "THEN ITS A DEAL!!! PLEASURE DOING BUSINESS WITH YOU KID!!!"

~~BATTLE END, NOELLE WON, SHE GOT 0 XP AND -26 D$~~

"Oh, my GOD! That fight felt like it was taking too long, finally it's over," Noelle thought, tired.

"NOW ON TO THE NEXT STEP... I'LL BE WAITING AT MY [[Home-made Storefront Site]]. IN THE [[Trash Area Closed For Repairs.]] COME... ALONE. AND DON'T FORGET! TO [[Like and Subscribe]] FOR MORE [[Hyperlink Blocked]]!" And with that, Spamton walked off laughing like a madman.

"(Sigh) I swear it feels like this world is out to get me," Noelle said out loud.

The rest of the alleyway was not bad, she got to the button and pressed it, the cars passed, and Queen's car came up.

Rolling down the window, Queen called out, "Get in!"

Chapter Text

Once in the car, Kris started to drive down the road. Noelle took the chance to see the city.  It looked like it would go on forever, and she still felt like this was a dream.

"I want this to be a dream... But this can't be, in dreams, you can't feel pain, but the past battles, they were too real," Noelle thought saddened.

"Kris, turn on the Queen single," Queen ordered in her cheery tone.

After a second, a spotlight shone into the air with Queen's face outlined.

"Oh, I hope we find poor Noelle as soon as possible, she could be anywhere in this city, even in an alleyway clipping in a wall wasting away from potassium deficiency," Queen stated in a worried tone.

"You're worried for her, aren't you?" Noelle asked using her fake voice.

"Well, I would be if I weren't going to find her," Queen stated with pride.

"Why are you looking for her... Is it because she is weak and easy to make your peon?" Noelle asked, saddened.

"Quite the opposite, she is one of the strongest Lightners I have ever met," Queen said, shocking Noelle.

Kris was getting more worried; the soul was still attached to Noelle, and it was only a matter of time before Quenn saw through the disguise.  The fact that it fooled her this long was a miracle. Kris wondered what Susie and Ralsei were up to.

As they continued to drive, Queen, out of the blue, spoke, "Kris, stop the car!"

When the car stopped, Queen had everyone get out, confused about why they had stopped. Noelle was going to ask until the car exploded.

"That was a close one, I was concerned it didn't explode earlier," Queen said in relief.

Kris and Noelle felt their stomachs drop at the fact the car could have exploded at any moment, it was concerning the fact most things in this dark world could explode at any moment.

"Well, it looks like we will have to split up for the moment. I'll see you later.  Oh, and if you see Noelle, give her this (Gives Royal Pin), it will prove we are together," Queen said, then walked off.

"Ok, well, I guess I don't need this mask," Noelle said to herself.  "This world, this city it makes my head spin, it feels like a dream, but I know it's not.  I want to be scared, but something is giving me the strength to keep going like I am filled with DETERMINATION.  You must think I am talking crazy right?"

Kris knew this would be a good chance to see how Noelle had been dealing with the SOUL. He did want to talk with her again, but he didn't want her to know he had dealt with it.  "I don't think you're talking crazy, it makes sense, this world, it makes you feel good, it makes you feel strong, it makes you feel... Like you have a purpose."

"Wow, you talk like you have done this before," Noelle implied.

Thankfully for Kris, the leather mask hid how he clenched his jaw in shock; he knew Noelle wouldn't believe him if he said no.  Thankfully for him, a puzzle came up.

"Oh, I think this is some sort of puzzle... If I go over there, we could continue," Noelle said as she jumped over the traffic cones.

Walking over, she stepped on the pressure plate, and a screen on the other side lit up with the letter.

As the blue barrier turned off, Kris walked to the pressure plate, and the same barrier on Noelle's side shut off, and Noelle continued.

As the two walked Noelle started to talk, "You know, when I said this city makes my head spin, it wasn't a bad thing.  I always wanted to see new places and Dess... Said she'd take me some day."

"Somewhere like this, somewhere with lights that make the dark not scary, and so we could explore everything about the big city."

"Don't you miss it, I mean exploring, back when we were kids, like the time we explored the forest behind the graveyard."

"Yeah, we didn't find anything, heh, the one thing I remember is crying because of how scared I was."

"But for some reason, when I remember that time, it's nostalgic, Dess whipping away my tears with Azzy's jacket.

"With warm sleeves that smelled like cinnamon.  I guess I didn't mind if I was scared if it meant someone would comfort me."

Noelle's path ended, and she jumped to Kris's side.

"(Sigh) I guess it is good Kris is the only one who knows how weird I am.  It's not fair, everyone knows about Kris, and they don't care.  But I can't show my real side, because of my mother," Noelle thought to herself.

Both Kris and Noelle walked off after walking for some time. They found a carousel, and there were five booths that they both could see.  Walking down the row of booths, they both heard the sound of Queen walking over.

"Oh SH-!" Noelle almost swore as she put the box back on.

She got into an empty booth behind with a stack of bottles, and Queen came over.

Without a second to spare, Queen spoke, "Check this out!"

With no warning, Queen threw a ball at the stand of bottles, knocking them down with an explosion, somehow not destroying the booth or harming Noelle.

"Now, where is my prize?" Queen asked with interest.

"Oh, uh, here," Noelle said as she gave a blue box with a yellow ribbon.

As Queen walked off, she stopped and realized something: "Wait, I don't want this."

She turned around and gave the box to Kris then walked off, as Noelle was trying to understand what just happened, both Susie and Ralsei walked over.

"Uh, Susie, you know that move isn't used to attack," Ralsei stated.

Yeah, I will prove you wrong," Susie said with a smirk.

Turning around, Ralsei saw Kris, "Kris, there you are, we wondered where you went."

"Hey, check out my new attack!" Susie said excitedly.

Susie shot a small energy pellet at Kris; instead of hurting him, it made him feel a bit better.

"How's that? Soon you will know the new healing master!" Susie said with pride.

"You know, it takes a long time with a lot of work until you get to that point," Ralsei pointed out.

"Ah, come on, just let me have this moment," Susie said, annoyed.  "Hey, where did you get that gift?"

Ralsei noticed that Kris was holding a blue gift in his hands, "Oh did you win that, who's it for?"

Kris was thinking about who to give the gift to, after a second he made his mind up, and he walked over to Noelle and gave her the box.  Noelle was surprised that Kris thought of her first.

Noelle was shocked at the fact Kris gave her the gift, "K-Kris, you are giving this to me, to keep?"

She put the gift in her inventory for later, as it could be useful.

Both Susie and Ralsei were confused, then Ralsei saw Noelle's armor and realized who was behind the mask... box... thing?

"Isn't that Noelle?" Ralsei asked, confused.

"Wait, that can't be Noelle, she looks nothing like this person," Susiee said not realising that Noelle could be wearing a mask.

"She's wearing a mask," Ralsei pointed out.

Susie took a second look and realized it was Noelle wearing a cardboard box. "Why are you wearing a box?"

Seeing that she didn't need the disguise anymore, she took it off as she walked out of the booth.

Susie was happy to see her, but remembered the fight they had, "WAIT, you're with Queen and Berdly!"

"Wait, I'm on your side, Kris, tell her!" Noelle begged with worry.

"Don't worry, she's fine we have a truce," Kris said making sure a fight didn't break out.

Susie looked at Kris, she didn't see or had a feeling he was lying to her, "Alright, if Kris says so, plus I didn't want to kill you anyway."

Noelle hoped Susie was joking, as the thought of death weighed heavy on her thoughts.  When the group got into formation, Noelle stayed in the back, she was thinking of standing closer to Susie but chose not to.  It wasn't out of fear, but to keep the rear of the group safe from attack.

The next minutes were spent walking across large steel beams and playing mouse games. Noelle realized not only was she more confident, but her fear of mice was little to nothing.  This world not only did it made Noelle face her fears, but whoever it was with her, helped her gain bravery.

Around the corner was Queen's Castle. As Ralsei turned, he spoke up, "We're close to the castle, soon we will be able to close the fountain."

Before anyone could do or say anything, Queen came over and interrupted, "Kris, you brought Noelle right to me, (This truce was the best plan I had), but that means our truce is at an end.  Now Noelle come over we have unfinished business."

"But I-," Noelle tried to speak when she was interrupted by Queen.

"Now now Noelle, that line of thinking doesn't help, I will only say this once, infinitely.  Get over here Get over here Get over here Get over here Get over here-."

Queen stopped and saw how Noelle was not making a choice, "Noelle, why are you hesitating?  Hmm, how about this, if you don't listen to me, then a certain bird might go for a ride in a river of acid."

Everyone in the group was shocked at the fact Queen threatened Berdly's life, feeling that there was no choice, Noelle gave herself up to Queen.

"Sorry Kris, Susie, I can't risk Berdly getting hurt, if this didn't happen I would have loved to stay with you guys," Noelle said with a sorrowful tone.

Queen was happy her plan was working, "Don't worry Noelle sweety, all that's left is the final step."

As Noelle walked over to Queen, Berdly came over, "My Queen, there you are, I have been looking everywhere for you."

Queen, seeing her plan fall out of her control, "Welp, Plan B."

After that, a cage flew over and closed around Noelle, and without warning, flew off.

"Huh, what's going on, what are you doing?" Berdly questioned in shock with anger.

After taking a sip from her glass Queen answered, "I see now her will must be unleashed by force, maybe I will have to go with making her face a robot one early."

Berdly taken back replied, "But, you said you wouldn't do that if I joined you!"

"That's simple, I lied," Queen stated.

"We were going to be smart together!  Thats not fair!" Berdly shouted in anger.

Taking another sip from her glass, Queen replied, "Understood, fairness activated."

In seconds, Kris, Susie, and Berdly were in cages like the one used on Noelle, and Queen laughed.

"HEY, what the hell!" Susie said in shock.

Getting some sense back, Berdly said, not changing his tone, "You said I could trust you, you said you're a gamer!"

Queen got an evil smirk and said, "Berdly... I only play mobile games."

Falling to his knees, Berdly could only say one word, "NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!"

"One of you is going to help me whether you like it or NOT!" Queen stated with steel.  "Now go to your rooms!"

After Queen was finished the cages flew off to the castle, after a couple of seconds Ralsei spoke up, "Uh, what are you going to do with me?"

Slapping her head Queen answered, "Oh damn, you're still here, I only had four cages, LOL, I don't even know what to do with you."

As Queen was laughing, neither she nor Ralsei didn't noticed that they were being watched from afar.

Both Papyrus and Toriel had seen everything, but they couldn't hear what they were saying.

"Oh, my, it seems the missing persons have been kidnapped," Papyrus stated.

Not hearing a response, he turned to see an angry look on Toriel's face, "We are getting into that castle if it's the last thing we do!"

~~Queen's castle~~

Noelle managed to get out of her room, but it may have been easy to walk around before.  But now that Queen wanted her to be kept in her room, she needed to keep out of sight of the staff. Which is hard when one is wearing a set of metal armor, and said armor sticks out like a sore thumb.  But her luck was only getting better, something was making the bird staff head in one part of the castle.

Whatever that thing was, it was helping her due to there being no staff. after taking the elevator to the lobby, Noelle saw that the cost was clear.  Walking in she felt like something was guiding her in a certain direction.

"Why am I being pulled over here?" Noelle thought in confusion.

When she stopped, Noelle was standing in front of a red door, under the bottom, some sort of fire was leaking out, if it weren't for the fact that it didn't hurt, she'd jump out of fear.

opening the door, Noelle saw a dark void, but when she stepped through, she was in the Trash Zone.

Realizing why Noelle was brought there, she took a breath and let it out, "I guess it's time to make a deal."

Chapter Text

Turning to the right, Noelle walked until she saw a small passageway broken into the wall of the rollercoaster. Ignoring the glaring safety hazard, she walked into see a small building... House... Store... Thing... I dont know, it is a pile of garbage that has a store inside. When she made her way inside, Spamton was waiting for her.

"HEY EVERY! IT'S ME SPAMTON G, SPAMTON!"

"You said something about a deal in that alleyway?" Noelle said, unsure if this was a good idea.

"NOELLE YOU [Little sponge] I KNEW YOU'D COME HERE [On a Saturday night]! AFTER ALL YOU WANT TO BE A [Big shot]! BUT HOW CAN YOU BE? LISTEN IN THE [Deep abyss] OF QUEEN'S [Mansion] [A great deal] IS WAITING FOR [A limited time only] A HEAVEN-PRICING [Workout-ready body] Designed by the classics you'd come to expect (C) 1997! NOELLE THAT [Little nipper] IS OUR [one-way ticket] TO MAKE YOU [Big], MAKE ME [BIG]! BEFORE YOU KNOW IT WE WILL BE TAKING [A ride around town on our special cungandero], VACATIONING IN [burning acid] WHILE YOU SOAK IN THE [hyperlink blocked].

Noelle was going to say something when Spamton cut her off.

"BUT NOELLE, DON'T [Breathe] YET! THE WAY IS LOCKED BY [High-quality encryption]!!! YOU WOULD NEVER GET INSIDE. WAIT NOELLE LOOK!!! HERE THOES [Balloons]??? YOU ARE [1000th customer]! AS A [Commemorative ring] I WILL LET YOU BUY [KeyGen] FROM ME AT [The low low price of] WHAT DO YOU THINK!?!? IT'S SUCH A STEAL, I'M [$!X$]ING MYSELF!!!"

"TAKE THE DEAL AND YOU WILL [Die] IT'S THAT GOOD!!! [BUY] THE KEYGEN FROM ME, UNLOCK THE BASEMENT, AND GET THAT EmptyDisk!!!"

This was too much for Noelle to handle, she wanted to go home but knew it was easier said than done. But she walked out and headed back for the castle, this would end soon, she hoped.

After walking through the portal door, Noelle went to the staircases to the left was the way she came from, so the right should be the way to go. As soon as she entered the first hall, a screen with Queen's face popped up.

"Noelle hunny I see you broke out of your room unit... I would be angry but I won't, if I were you I'd break out to see the rest of this amazing castle," Queen said not realizing what Noelle's true goal was. "I do hope you turn around and return to your room soon!"

"I won't help you, you lied to me about Berdly," Noelle shot back.

"I see I will have to use force... Again, oh well, this is a good chance to test your straight," Queen implied with joy.

Before Noelle could respond the screen turned off and was replaced with paintings of Queen, the heads flashed with light, and without warning they shot fire. The fire hurt like hell but thankfully didn't kill her, the armor was heated and wasn't helping. Noelle ran as fast as she could, dodge after dodge, Noelle managed to escape the death halls. She almost knocked on one of the vases that had Queen's face.

Next was a mase of Queen vases, if she made it out alive Noelle would not want to see another vase again, or at least soon. She knew the balancing act would be next, but didn't see any of the Swatchlings that would watch this event. Walking through Noelle made for the room with the queen statues, she remembered something Berdly said about a secret in there.

"If what I am thinking is right, I should be able to get to what Spamton called the 'Deep Abyss,' pretty sure he was talking about the basement," Noelle said to herself.

Noelle walked into the room with the cat pictures. Again, the room was empty, which was odd, but it was helpful for Noelle. The path was clear, and she headed for the second-to-last room she needed to go to. Cars were driving by blocking Noelle from continuing, seeing the stop switch, she knew what she had to do.

With annoyance, Noelle went through the pain of trying to cross with the buttons; many times she tried, and many times she failed, but after an hour, she made it through. And thanks to some mice, the cars didn't come back, and the room she was looking for, well, wasn't what she was expecting. There were statues of the Queen, but there were more, tea cups, and some odd blue blocks. It took longer than she would admit, but she found a button, and after pushing it, a loud click sounded. Turning around, she saw that there was a secret door open.

Taking the secret passage Noelle was in a room she never saw, by the door was a switch, labeled, switch flipping it, a door opened, and seeing where it led, she saw it led to the lobby.

"This is useful," Noelle thought in relief.

Turning back she saw an electric gate, the keygen she got from Spamton glowed, taking it out she used it and the gate disappeared. As Noelle moved forward she had a feeling there would be a lot of pain soon.

"Wow, it feels like I am in a different building, this place is run down," Noelle said to herself.

Looking around Noelle saw one of the stars Kris used, as she touched it a screen popped up taking most of her eyesight.

Choosing the save option the screen disappeared, all of her previous injuries were healed and her armor was repaired as if nothing bad happened. seeing there was only one way to go, Noelle went to the right, the passage was long, and on the wall were odd plugs.

She got a bit close to one, and without warning, it lunged with sharp teeth, and it managed to bite her right arm. The teeth managed to dig in, piercing the armor and digging into her muscles, causing her to bleed. With a scream of pain, she blasted the plug with ice, and when it flew back, she fell to her knees. Noelle grabbed her arm with her hand, a bad idea, she was sure the arm was broken.

Taking her hand away she saw blood, remembering the Nightmare with that tall skeleton monster, she realized something about her had changed. It was no longer just a mental change but a physical change as well. She had blood, and if her memory served her right, the only times a monster had blood was when they absorbed a human soul.

Unnoticed to her, the bleeding stopped and the pain dulled. The pain didn't stop, but now it was at a manageable level. Standing back up, she pushed on, making sure not to get hit by the other plug from attacking, she was at the end of the hall. The last door led to a long room with a drop at the end, walking over a tea cup ride rose, jumping in it, descended where it stopped in another room, but this had a switch. Pressing it, Noelle heard the distant sound of an electric gate turning off.

Jumping back in the teacup ride, it rose. While the ride went back up was smooth, she saw shadows coming closer, and looking up, she saw attack pellets falling. Not prepared for the attack, she was hit multiple times, and it didn't let up. She tried to dodge but got hit; her armor was broken, her body was bloody and bruised, and she couldn't move out of the last attack. And before she knew it.

Darkness was everywhere, waking up Noelle looked around and saw only darkness.  Noelle was in a void, not the same as the last one, she was floating in space.  Looking at herself Noelle saw how she was still injured and her armor was only holding on by threads.

"I died," Noelle whispered in a flat tone.

Once the words sunk in, she started to panic, with all of the times she came close to death, she could not do this time, and now there was nothing left but to be in this void.

"Now what, I will never see my dad again, I will never see my friends again, I will never tell-" Before Noelle could continue there was the voice of her father.

"This is not your fate, do not give up, this world needs you to continue."

With that, there were two options.

CONTINUE                                                                       GIVE UP

It took a second, but she gained back courage, if not confusion on how she could do anything when dead.  Pressing the continue her vision was blinded by a bright light.

Kris was confused about how a save file was loaded, he didn't load anything and there was no save point where he was.  When he remembered Noelle now had the SOUL.

Kris began to think to himself, "Wait, the only times it did that were... Oh no, we need to find Noelle soon!"

Noelle found herself back in the basement with no pain, no broken armor, the electric gate still up, and she almost fell.  Before that she caught her fall, looking around she was in the same spot she did a 'save' as she went back in time.

"Well, at least I know what's ahead," Noelle thought.

Going back down the same path she had taken before, Noelle got to the end while dodging the wall plug attacks.  After going down to flip the switch, she got ready for the ride back up.  After jumping in, she went back up. She was able to dodge at least half, but in the end.  A broken heart remained.

Back to the start, again. It took longer than Noelle would admit to anyone, even on her deathbed.  After the fifth time she got through, she was still bloody and beaten, though the save point fixed any damage and injuries.  With the other path open, she went forward, after taking a left. Noelle was in a large hallway with three railway tracks.

"Where is this, empty disk?" Noelle asked no one.

Looking down the hall, she saw a room at the end. There was a room in front of her, but something was telling her to go to the second room, and that is where she went.  Looking inside, she saw an old machine that was held up by vines. When Noelle got close, she saw something shining inside; it turned out to be the empty disk.  Grabbing it, Noelle turned and made for the exit.  Doing a quick save, she went back to the modern part of the mansion.

As she walked through the trash zone, Noelle had a feeling she was being made to do this but didn't fight against it.  She walked into Spamton's shop he somehow knew she had the disk.

"NOELLE!!! YOU DID IT!! YOU [[Funky]] LITTLE [[Worm]]!  YOU BROUGHT ME THE DISK!! HOCHI MAMA!!!!  I CAN FEEL THAT [Smooth Taste] ALREADY!!  NOW NOELLE. DON'T BE GREEDY. HAND OVER.  THE DISK. THEN WE WILL TRANSFER.  MY [[Hyperlink Blocked]]. THEN.  NOELLE. AFTER. THIS IS VERY, VERY IMPORTANT.  GO BACK. AND PUT. THE DISK. BACK.  WHERE YOU GOT IT. DO THAT... AND YOU HAVE MY [Specil Guaranttee] I WILL [[Pass My Savings Onto You!]] EVERY [Big], EVERY [Shot], EVERY [Hyperlink Blocked], ALL YOURS, NOELLE.  SO WHAT DO YOU SAY? BIG SHOT... She didn't give the disk just yet; she wanted to learn more about Spamton before she lost the chance.

"I wanted to know about you, Spamton," Noelle said, hoping he would go on.

Looking around, Noelle wondered about why he was alone, "Do you have any friends?"

"ME? ... FRIENDS? EAHAEHAEHAEHAEH!!!  NOELLE! YOU AND ME. ARE ALREADY [Friend Request Accepted] WE DON'T NEED ANYONE ELSE!!!  WE DON'T NEED [[Easels]] or [[CRTs]]!  WE DON'T NEED ANY [[Man, Woman, or Child]] [[At Half Price]]!!

"WE DON'T NEED [[MIKE]]!!! Mike."

"NOELLE!!! DON'T BELIEVE [[Anything You See On TV!]] THE MAN'S A CRIMINAL, I TELL YOU!!  A CRIMINAL!!"

Noelle wanted to ask about Mike, but asked about something else, "Do you have any fears?"

"WHAT ARE YOU AFRAID OF??? ACCORDING TO [[Encyclopedia of]] [[Being Afraid]] THERE'S NOTHING TO FEAR EXCEPT"

Spamton stopped, and his glasses had static.

"Can anyone hear me? Help..."

Before she could do or say anything, he changed back.

"HUH??? WHAT?? NO, I DIDN'T HEAR ANYTHING JUST NOW!!!  BUT IT SOUNDED LIKE THEY WERE TALKING TO YOU."

Not wanting to continue, she gave the disk to Spamton.

FINALLY!!! I KNEW YOU WOULD [[Request Accepted]] NOELLE!!!  HERE I GO!!! BEGIN THE [[Transfer]]

As Spamton disappeared the store turned gray, Noelle knew what to do next, she hoped this would help with dealing with Queen.

When she got to the old machine in the basement of Queen's mansion, she put the disk back where she got it.  When nothing happened she left, before making it to the exit she was knocked to the ground, and looking up she saw something frightening.

Chapter Text

Looking up, she only saw the outline of a tall man with odd wings; he was taller than anyone she knew, and more menacing than anyone she knew.

"HOLY [[Cungadero]] DO I FEEL GOOD..."

She recognized the voice, somehow it was Spamton!

"HERE I AM!! NOELLE!!"

BIG.

BIG.

"[[BIGGER AND BETTER THAN EVER]]. HA HA HA ... THIS POWER IS... FREEDOM. I WON'T HAVE TO BE, JUST A PUPPET, ANYMORE!!!!"

"OR... so... I... thought. WHAT ARE THESE STRINGS!? WHY AM I NOT [BIG] ENOUGH!? It's still DARK... SO DARK!"

"NOELLE."

"NOELLE. NOELLE. NOELLE."

"THAT'S RIGHT."

"YOU. I NEED YOU. TO BE BIG. WITH ME. VERY VERY BIG! SO BIG WE'LL STAND UP TALL AND SEE PAST THE DARK! STAND UP WITH OUR HEADS IN THE CLOUDS AND LOOK INTO"

"H E A V E N"

"I JUST NEED, THAT LITTLE, [[SOUL]] Y O U HAVE!"

As Spamton's cannon charged up, Noelle was having a panic attack.

"SOMEONE ANYONE HELP!" Noelle called out in fear.

Before Spamton could attack, a large fireball hit his back, making him fly up into the ceiling.

"Noelle! My child, are you ok? Who was that man trying to hurt you?!" Toriel asked in shock.

"Miss Toriel, how are you here?" Noelle asked, surprised that one of the teachers was in the darkworld.

"Lady Noelle, we saw you head in this direction, so we followed to see if you needed help," Papyrus added.

"NOELLE!!! YOU HAVE [Friends]!? WHY DON'T YOU TELL THEM ABOUT MY [3 for One Specil]!"

Three carts caught the party by surprise, and soon they were going down the rails of the rollercoaster.

"TODAY, THE WHOLE FAMILY CAN TAKE A LITTLE [Ride Around Town]... [Attention Customers! Clean up on Aisle 3!] SOMEONE LEFT [There] SOULS, [Lyeing Around......]"

A row of blue attacks shaped like Spamton's head was coming down, ready to bring pain. But the Soul once again jumped out and turned yellow, with the power of the Soul, she was able to shoot the attacks down. It took a more powerful blast to take the middle row down.

It was safe to say, both Toriel and Papyrus were surprised to see Noelle's new power. But before they could say anything Spamton cut in.

"Noelle!?!? WAS THAT A [BIG SHOT] JUST NOW!? WOW!!! I'M SO [Proud] OF YOU, I COULD [Killed] YOU! [Heaven], are you WATCHING? IT'S TIME TO MAKE A VERY [Specil] DEAL..."

~~BATTLE START!~~

IT'S TIME TO BE A BIG SHOT!

Noelle was going through the options to see how to best deal with this battle, she knew, no slip up's could be afforded in this fight. One option was to cut the wires and use that, Noelle cut the wires but only got 2% of them.

Seeing what she was doing both Toriel and Papyrus attacked the wires, leading to 4% of the wires cut.

"NOELLE! ISN'T THIS [Body] JUST [Heaven]LY!? 3X THE [Fire]POWER. 2X THE [Water]POWER. AND BEST OF ALL, FLYING [Heads]!"

Again, rows of heads flew towards them, and Noelle defended as best as she could. They got off easy this round, but the battle had just started.

Noelle, in a panic, called out, "Please stop this fight, I don't want to hurt you!"

But her words fell on deaf ears. Spamton was going too far to stop, using a power move, all three cut the wires from Spamton.

"WE'LL TURN THOSE [Schmoes] AND [Daves] INTO [Rosen Graves] THOSE [Cathode Screens] INTO [Cathode Screams]"

Bars of energy flew towards the party, just in time. Noelle shot the weak parts and nearly avoided all of the attacks. With Spamton's attack over, Noelle cut wires while both Toriel and Papyrus defended, raising the team's TM points.

"NOELLE, DON'T YOU WANNA BE [Part] OF MY BEAUTIFUL [Heart]?! OR... DID YOU NEED A LITTLE [Specil Tour]?

Spamton's heart flew out on a chain, shooting diamond-shaped projectiles. One of them crashed into Noelle's chest plate; it didn't go through, but it cut deep enough to hurt.

"Noelle!" Toriel called out in shock.

She used a healing prayer to help Noelle while she and Papyrus attacked Spamton's strings.

"ALL YOU GOTTA DO IS [Big.] THEN WE'LL BE THE ONES MAKING THE [Calls], NOELLE!"

A phone came out of nowhere, and Spamton picked it up.

"WHAT!? WHAT? ARE YOU SERIOUS!? ... IT'S FOR YOU.

Blue egg-shaped objects came out of the phone. Noelle shot at them as fast as she could. One got close and exploded, releasing a large wave of energy that hit the team. Most of it was focused on Noelle, and she nearly fell off the rollercoaster.

No one was talking; everyone was focused on taking Spamton down.

"IT'S CALLING, NOELLE... MY [Heart]... MY [Hands]..."

Both of Spamton's hands turned into phones and shot sound waves; the three dodged most of the attacks, and in return, they all attacked the strings.

"NOELLE! CAN YOU REALLY LOOK IN MY [Eyes] AND SAY NO!? LOOK IN MY [Eyes] LOOK IN MY [Nose] LOOK IN MY [Mouth]

Spamton's eyes, nose, and mouth were glowing, and somehow, they were shooting attacks. Taking her chance, Noelle took them out one by one.

"I CAN'T STAND IT!!! I THINK I'M GONNA HAVE A [HeartAttack]!

Spamton used the same heart attack, but the diamond attacks were doubled in speed. It was hard to dodge all of the attacks, falling to her knees, Noelle was out of the fight. Somehow she was below health, but thankfully Noelle was still alive, and in a quick reaction, Papyrys and Toriel used healing items to help their fallen alley. Standing back up She was back in the fight.

"NOELLE, I'LL EVEN GIVE YOU A [Free Value] [Die Now] AND I'LL THROW IN [50] [Bullets] FOR FREE!

Spamton shot charged energy balls out of his arm cannon, while heads flew around, shooting smaller energy pellets. As she dodged, Noelle fired as many pellets back.

Again, she Toriel, and Papyrus, cut as many strings as they could. At least 15% of the wires cut from Spamton.

"NOELLE. IF YOU GIVE ME THAT [Soul] I WILL GIVE YOU EVERYTHING I HAVE. I WILL GIVE YOU [3 Easy Payments of $9.99!]

The head attack came back, they were faster, and dodging was harder when there were more projectiles to worry about.

"This is ridiculous. How many attacks can one person have?" Papyrus said in annoyance.

They cut the wires again. This time, Papyrus used a more powerful attack, and a good chunk of the wires were cut.

"NOELLE!!! TAKE THE DEAL!!! TAKE IT!!! DO YOU WANNA BE A [Heart] ON A [Chain] YOUR WHOLE LIFE!?

Like the second time, Spamton used his heart to attack, to attack, but now there were two smaller hearts. But due to knowing this type of attack before, it was easer to dodge. And more wires were lost.

"OR... DID YOU WANT TO BE... Did you wanna be..."

The same phone from before fell, and Noelle got ready to attack, when something odd happened.

"WHAT!? IT'S FOR ME!?"

The phone attacked Spamton but did not damage it; they still took the chance to cut the wires.

"NOELLE... I WON'T FORCE YOU. I CAN'T. I CAN'T FORCE YOU. BUT JUST LOOK, NOELLE. LOOK AT THE [Power of NEO] AND ASK YOURSELF... WELL, DON'T YOU? DON'T YOU WANNA BE A [Big Shot]!?

Everything went dark, and Spamton appeared out of the dark, but he was far larger than he was before. He opened his mouth, and it felt like there was a vortex pulling at the three, looking behind them, Noelle saw the attack coming.

Noelle pointed out the attack, "Behind us!"

But it was only Noelle being affected by this turn, dodging the giant dollar signs, she waited for this to stop. When it did, Spamton shot out large energy balls that had his face. As the last one came, Noelle had nowhere to go, but then everything was blinding, fearing the worst, Noelle opened her eyes and saw she was fine.

As she used her turn to cut the last wires everything stopped, one last wire appeared over Spamton and he was in shock at how this battle turned out.

"WAIT!! [$!?!] THE PRESSES! MY... MY [Wires]... THEY'RE ALMOST [Gone]!? NOELLE... YOU... YOU'RE [Gifting] ME MY [Freedom]?! NOELLE... AFTER EVERYTHING I DID TO YOU...!? AFTER ALL THE [Unforgettable D3als] [Free KROMER] I GAVE YOU. YOU'RE FINALLY REPAYING MY [Genorisity]!?"

"NOELLE!!! I UNDERSTAND NOW!! THE GREATEST DEAL OF ALL!!!"

"[Friendship]!!!"

NOELLE!!! MY DAYS AS A [Long-Nosed Doll] ARE OVER!!! CUT THAT [Wire] AND MAKE ME A [Real Boy]!! ARE YOU WATCHING, [Heaven]!? IT'S TIME FOR SPAMTON'S [Comeback Special]! AND THIS TIME... I LIVE FOR MYSELF!!! NO... MYSELF AND MY [Friend(s)]!!! HERE I GO!!!! WATCH ME FLY, [MAMA]!!!!

After the last wire was cut, Spamton fell to the floor lifeless, and the giant version of Spamton was dragged off.

Following where the salesman went, the three found themselves in a small room, with the real Spamton tied up in vines. As Noelle got closer, Spamton spoke with a tired, worn voice, like he was talking through a radio.

"It seems after all I couldn't be anything more than a simple puppet. But you three... You're strong. With a power like that... Maybe you three can break your strings. Let me become your strength."

As Spamton disappeared, he gave Noelle two items.

Noelle had to leave the basement, it felt so cramped all of a sudden, she walked out of the room when she got to the save, she used it and healed. Due to Toriel and Papyrus having fought with her, they were healed by the save point.

Toriel stopped Noelle and turned her around to look her in the eyes so she could talk to the young monster girl. "Noelle, are you... Are you ok? What was all of that about puppet strings? Why was he talking to you as if you both knew each other?"

Noelle didn't know how to answer and couldn't look Toriel in the eyes.

"Does it have to do with that human Soul you have? I know you wouldn't kill," After a minute, Toriel got a sinking feeling in her gut. "Were you made to kill someone?"

"I... Didn't kill anyone," Noelle answered, feeling tired. "I... I'm sorry, I don't know how to answer these questions."

Toriel was no stranger to raising kids, but she saw the pain Noelle was dealing with. "Alright, if you ever want to talk, I will be here to listen."

"Don't forget about your friend Papyrus as well!" Papyrus said as he gave both Toriel and Noelle a hug.

Seeing how both Toriel and Papyrus cared about her mental health made her smile. As Papyrus let go of the two, they went back to the mansion.

Kris, Susie, Ralsei, and Berdly were looking for Noelle due to not finding her in her room.

"Where is Noelle? It's like she disappeared out of the darkworld," Berdly said, annoyed.

"She's tough if she made it this far; there is nothing that can harm her," Susie said with confidence.

As they walked through the main lobby, Noelle Toriel and Papyrus came out of the secret entrance. Kris, Susie, and Berdly froze in fear. Ralsei was surprised at how many lighters were here to close the dark fountain, or that is what he thought. As Toriel saw the three, she gave them her famous glare.

"Kris, Susie, Berdly get over here now!" Toriel was mad at how this day turned out.

The three ran forward and stood in attention like soldier would for their commanding officer.

Ralsei walked over calmly, he looked at Toriel, Papyrus, and Noelle and introduced himself, "Hello, I am Ralsei prince of the dark, who are you?"

Toriel was reminded of Asreal when she looked at Ralsei, but knew it was a different person and replied, "I am Toriel Dreemurr I am Kris' mother."

"And my name is Papyrus," Papyrus said as he shook Ralsei's hand.

After what happened, Noelle wasn't feeling in the mood to talk at that moment, but everyone's attention went back to Toriel when she spoke again.

"Now Kris, what is this place, don't lie to me," Toriel stated not in any mood for any shenanigans.

Seeing no way to lie, Kris had no choice but to tell the truth, "Well... This is the darkworld, and we are trying to seal the fountain."

"Was this where you were with Susie yesterday?" Toriel asked worriedly.

"Uh... Yeah," Kris answered with hesitation.

"Miss Toriel, we were saving our new friends from the darkworld in the school," Susie said, defending Kris.

"Wait, is that where you were yesterday?" Toriel asked, shocked.

"Well, uh, yes," Kris answered hesitantly.

"Well, Miss Dremmer, I can tell you we will almost be finished with this quest," Berdly said with a grin.

"And did this 'quest' have to take two days?" Toriel asked with an annoyed tone.

Kris, Susie, Noelle, and Berdly all yelled in sync, "WHAT?!"

"Wait, what, it has been two days in the light world?!" Ralsei questioned. "But the lighters were only in here for 4 hours."

"Yeah, we were here for only four hours, uh... Miss Dreemurr," Susie added.

"Well, two days have passed, and you four have not been seen," Toriel stated, annoyed at what was happening.

"We need to" Before Noelle could finish, but once again a neon cage flew down trapping Noelle and flying off.

"I am at my limit with this. I will be acting on my plan, and now it will happen whether you like it or not," Queen said over the intercom of the castle.

"We need to stop Queen before she does something drastic," Ralsei said with a panicked tone.

"Now I am annoyed, this ends now," Toriel said, annoyed.

The six ran upstairs to stop whatever Queen was planning and to save Noelle, unknown to them, a dark shadow was watching them. If one were to look closely, one would see the shadow had an evil smile that would make the toughest man cringe in fear.

Chapter Text

The six heroes ran through the mansion.  It was a lot for some to take in.  Toriel had thousands of questions going through her mind.  How long had this been going on?  Why were the kids here? Was it just Kris, Susie, Noelle, and Berdly, or were there more students?  And why did this Ralsei look like Asriel?  A lot of questions, but not enough time to answer any of them.  Papyrus was going through the motions, and this felt like a dream, but he knew it wasn't one.  They dodged attacks and took down enemies in a non-lethal way.  At the end of the path was a grand hall, and on the other side was the Queen in her hover chair.

"There she is!" Susie pointed out that she spoke up again as she took the lead.  "Queen! Stop there!"

"Oh my sweet idiot children," Queen said in her smug tone.  Queen went to continue, but Toriel, in an angered tone, cut her off.

"DO NOT! Call my students stupid!" Toriel said as she gave Queen a strong glare.

Queen did flinch at that but regained her composure.  She said, "Well, you still are here on time to witness my world domination.  With Noelle in my possession, it is only a matter of time before she turns and she unleashes her power.  Blanketing the whole world in--"

"TO LATE DUMBASS!" Susie yelled in defiance.  "We're here to stop your ass!"

"Language!" Torial said, disciplining Susie.

Susie straightened her back at that.  Susie held a lot of respect for Toriel.  "Yes, Mrs. Dreemer!"

"You were unable to stop three of us, and now there are six of us," Ralsei stated with a stern tone.  "Please stop this before more fighting breaks out."

"Hmmm, nah. This is too much fun, and sure, there are more of you, but I still have other minions," Queen started as some of the Swatchlings joined her before the battle.

“Wait, what did you do to Noelle?!” Kris demanded to know that these distractions were getting annoying.

Queen liked this talk, “(Laughter becomes crueler).  Oh, I wonder (I actually know the answer)”

“Enough already!” Toriel said as she got ready for battle.

Queen, seeing she will have to use force, spoke before the fight, “Oh dear, I sincerely quite like you two, it will be a shame to force you to serve me… An enjoyable shame.”

~~BATTLE START~~

Queen blocks the way!

Due to how the battle rules worked, only Kris, Susie, and Ralsei were facing Queen; the Swatchling on the left was purple, while the one on the right was red.  Kris used a warming on the blue while Ralsei used a half-cooling on the red Swatchling, and Susie used a defense to raise the TP for the team.  The purple Swatchling became green, and the red one became orange.

Ralsei spoke up, trying to reach some reason with Queen.  "Queen, think of the lightners!  Aren't we supposed to make them happy?!"

"What do you think I'm doing?" Queen said back as she shrugged.

The Swathlings used their attacks.  The orange Swatchling sent small orange birds to attack, while the green Swatchling used a platter and a cloche to attack.  Kris, Susie, and Ralsei dodged the attacks with expert moves.  After the attack was finished, Kris used a cooling on the orange Swatchling and made it turn green.  Both Swatchlings were spared, and Susie and Ralsei spared the two Swatchlings, having them leave the battle.  Though two more took their spots, one was blue and the other was purple.

"Think! Lightners have already been enslaved by my kin!" Queen stated as she raised her glass.

The glass grew to a large size, and large drops of acid fell into the glass, making the three dodge to not get hurt.  Though dodging everything was not possible, and they got hit at least three times, it may have been acid, but at least it didn't act like light-world acid.

Queen's acid shields are formed!

Ralsei saw Kris' plan and went along, "That glass is generating her shield."

"So, uh... Are you going to drink all that?" Susie asked, joining both Kris and Ralsi's plan.

Queen seemed offended and spoke, "No, this is all mine, you can't have any!"

Queen took a drink from her glass, and the shield dropped by three bars of energy.

Queen got a smug look as she finished, not fully understanding what she had done just yet.  "Each day they spend worshiping in glowing rapture."

The attack came as a large version of Queen's boots came down, nearly crushing the three, and when the attack finished.  The three did their act poses, which made Queen drink her glass empty, due to the shield no longer having power, it exploded in a small ball of fire,  which made Queen's hover chair get knocked back a bit.  But Queen was not bothered.

"Staring, typing, to receive joy.  Staring, typing to avoid pain!" Queen stated continuing her original conversation about why she was doing this.

Queen had small holographic versions of her head shot at the three, dealing damage, all while the three were gathering TP.  After that was finished, Kris went defensive; he didn't have his normal shield and used a form of light magic to block the attack.  Susie used a half-warm on the purple Swatchling while Ralsei used a healing prayer on Kris.

On the sidelines were Torial, Papyrus, and Berdly, unable to help, but couldn't get past the fight to go save Noelle.

"Berdly, how did this even start?" Toriel asked as she was worried for her child.

Berdly took a minute to think, and he then spoke, trying to make sense.  "Honestly, I don't fully understand myself.  Noelle and I were headed to the library, you know, to get an A+ like normal.  When the computer room was darker than normal.  We then found ourselves here."

FLASHBACK

After the door slammed shut, both Berdly and Noelle tried to pry the door open.

"HEY! This is not funny! Whoever locked us in, needs to open the door or I will call the Police!" Berdly said in annoyance.

After a minute, he gave up and pulled his phone out, "Fine, but I warned you."

When Berdly put the last number in, he got ready to talk to Undyne or Napstablook, but he had to pull the phone away due to a garbled sound that came out, and then the call ended.

"Crap, the phone tower must be down, stupid town, this place is falling apart," Berdly said, still annoyed.

Noelle and Berdly were trying to find the light switch in the dark computer room.  The odd thing was the room seemed to be bigger than normal, and somehow the two could see each other with no problem, even though it was pitch black.

"Odd, we should have at least bumped into the computer desks by now.  I know this room is not that large," Berdly said more to himself.

"Maybe the room was rearranged?" Noelle said, even though it was unlikely.

Berdly shook his head in no, "As much as that sounds plausible, the other workers would have had to start that yesterday."

Before Noelle or Berdly could say another word, the floor began to shake.

"EARTHQUAKE!" Berdly shouted in fear.

As Noelle and Berdly were trying to find cover, Noelle was shocked at how calm she was, this should have scared her to her core, but then somehow.  The floor disappeared, and they fell into the darkness.

~~An unknown time later~~

Berdly was the first to wake up, as he stood, he realized he was in battle gear.  He saw Noelle still out cold, and he rushed over, shaking Noelle awake.

"Noelle, Noelle, wake up," Berdly said, trying to keep his worry from getting the better of him.

As Noelle woke, Berdly realized Noelle also had armor, "Wh-what happened?  Where are we?"

"We fell, and..." Berdly looked around, not knowing how to answer.  "I do not know where we are."

"But I assume if we follow the path, we can find out where we are," Berdly said as the two walked down the path.  Unaware that they are headed to the dark world known as the Cyber World.

FLASHBACK END

"Interesting, besides the door closing on us and the phone thing, Lady Torial and I feel the same way..." Papyrus said, then added.  "Well, I did fall, and Lady Torial was dragged down when she tried to help me."

The last of Queen's Swatchlings had been spared, and Queen was on low energy.  "Enough, you foolish children!  You may have survived my attacks (Regular).  But I have been secretly downloading my Ultimate Attack this whole time!  Now, parash in the bosom of my hellish reign!"

Above the battlefield was a loading bar, and above that read DOWNLOADING ULTAMANTE ATTACK, but as the bar got to the middle point, it stopped.  The text was replaced with download failed, and then the battlefield was covered in many ads.  Blocking sight of the other attacks.  Other types of attacks came, but the three dodged as if they saw the future.  When the attack ended, Queen realized she had no more attacks left.  Having had enough of sitting to the side, Berdly joined the other, and so did Toriel and Papyrus; they didn't care about the rules at this moment.

"Queen, you may have mastered the number 3, but how about 6?!" Berdly said as he pulled his halberd out.

"Running the simulation of 6... Hm, you are definitely going to kick: My Ass, unless." Queen then pointed behind the group with a gasp.  "Oh no what's that?!"

As the group looked behind them, Queen gave a snarky laugh and ran off.

"W-what! Wait one nanosecond! You... You Cowardette!" Berdly said, angered as Queen had gotten away.

Kris, Susie, and Ralsei followed as the others stayed behind to make sure no one followed them.  As the three reached Queen, she had another hover chair.

The three were out of Queen's sight as she monologued to Noelle, who was tied to a large hand.  "The Knight, the Roaring Knight... Today, it is designed to create this world, reaching its long hand to the sky.  It coursed its will into its blade and made.  Thrusting the Fountain from the Earth... Unfortunately, the world they created.  It is trapped within the confines of the Library.  If only we had a way to make more Darkness.  We might be able to cover the whole world... That is when I realized, this power... This power of the will.  This power of Determination... Is this not all lightners possess?  If one were simply Determined enough, could not anyone make a Dark Fountain?  So then, if the Knight has taken its leave, I will simply have to make a new one."

Queen then looked to Noelle with a smile, "Honey Darling Sweetie Gravy, how do you find the giant hand?"

Noelle didn't answer, and for some reason, Queen took that for a good answer.  "Great, and how do you feel about world domination?"

Before anyone else could say a word, Queen was sent off when Susie used a rude buster move.  "Oooooo Ouchie Mama!"

The three ran over, and Noelle was able to get untied from the giant hand as it disappeared down.  Noelle looked to the group and spoke, "Kris, Susie, you... You came to save me!  W... Wait! Wait, wait, wait! You need to get out of hear!"

Susie went to answer, but there came the sound of a loud laugh, then came large stomping sounds, then a large Queen-like robot stomped over, with Queen in the head controlling the giant robot.

"Q-Queen?!" Ralsei questioned in shock and a bit of panic at the sight.

Queen had a smirk as she got the upper hand.  "It seems that you failed to notice the Giant Freaking Robot in the center of my palace!"

"This isn't good, she is invincible like this!" Noelle said as she took a step back.

Susie was trying to understand and only said, "Huh?"

"Susie, she has been bragging about her final form this whole time!" Noelle stated as Queen was getting ready.

"Huh, well..." Susie turned and pointed at Queen.  "You think growing a few inches will help?!"

"Yes!" Queen stated, raising a large green wine glass and shooting a green laser out, causing the four to fall to their knees.  "Are we cool with taking over the world now?"

"Like hell, we're letting you win!" Susie said in a defiant tone.  "So what if you got another form?  We've got one too!!"

Susie then turned to Kris and Ralsei and whispered, "Kris, Ralsei, come on!"

Kris was in a T pose, with Susie behind him holding onto his wrists.  Ralsei was on his hands and knees, and the two others were standing on his back.  Kris was the first to announce their form, "Power Beast Form S!"

"What are you doing?!" Noelle questioned, trying to hide her annoyance.

"This is our ultimate... Uh, wait a second, now that you mention it..." Before Susie could continue, she was cut off.

Queen faked a tone of worry, "Oh no, it appears I am evenly matched." Her tone then became more serious with a mix of joy, I hope you don't mind if I don't hold back."

She slammed her giant mecha fist into the platform, causing Kris, Susie, and Ralsei to fall off.  Noelle looked in horror as her friends fell to their deaths.  She then turned around, pulling her sword out, ready to fight, though she was hesitant due to how big Queen's robot was.

"Noelle, don't make me laugh (I'll laugh anyway).  You can't fight me like that," Queen stated with a smirk.

Noelle looked around, trying to do something, when there came large footsteps from behind her.  There was another mech, but this one was more colorful. It had a... Duck head?! For some reason, she knew the three were in that large mech, and for some reason had a feeling of jealousy of not piloting the other robot.

"Finally... A worthy opponent." Queen said as the two got into a fight.
