He couldn’t believe it, your glassy, emotionless eyes had shaken the dorm head of pomefiore to his core. He had caused this.
Your demise.
He was still in disbelief, caressing your cheek gently with shaking hands. “Sweet potato... wake up. Th-this isn’t a funny joke anymore..!” ah, a rare crack in his voice. And yet, no response. After multiple attempts to resuscitate your lifeless body, he became frantic. Ordering every one of his dorm members to get any healing potion they could.
Your friends just stood there as well, just as in shock as Vil. They all didn’t say anything. After all, what more was there to say?
————————————
“Vil, what are you doing?” A petite voice caught the dorm head off guard. “Ah... just.. calming down.” Vil responded quietly.
It’s been a week since your passing, your funeral has yet to be scheduled and your corpse had been staying in pomefiore, getting attended to accordingly.
Epel sighed, “Okay then. It’s almost dinner time, Rook and I are on cooking duty and we’re worried about you. Please just... let us know if you need anything.” And with that, the smaller male left.
Vil got up, grabbing his makeup supplies glumly before heading out to a certain room.
—————————
He promised himself not to enter, but he just couldn’t. there you were, in the middle of the cold, isolated room. In a glass casing looking angelic. Just like Snow White.
He stared down at your lifeless body, you looked so peaceful in this state. It unnerved him. Vil never imagined this would ever happen to him. He didn’t like motionless, empty, ugly things. It scared disgusted him.
He opened the glass casing, reveling at your appearance once again before settling down on the stool next to you.
He lightly applied cosmetics on your delicate features, taking his sweet time to get everything right. He wanted you to look perfect, just like him. He didn’t want you to be stuck in a state of frozen emotion for eternity, he loved you too much for that.
Just like the prince from Snow White. But unlike Snow White, you couldn’t be woken up by a true love’s kiss.
