    Skywalker Records has announced a record deal with multi-Grammy-winning artist Kylo Ren, former lead singer of the Knights of Ren. Ren will partner with Tony-winning songwriter Rey Kanata on his first solo album. Kanata burst onto the Broadway music scene two years ago and is the youngest composer to win two Tony Awards and a Grammy.

    Before the group’s infamous split, the Knights of Ren amassed six Grammys. See page 3 for what we can expect from Ren as a solo artist. Little is known about Kanata. See page 4 on her career thus far.
