Chapter Text
“Sam mentioned the other day that she’d like to start sai training.”
“Mmhmm.”
Terry clicked off the espresso machine. Picking up the two mugs he’d filled, he put one in front of Daniel where he was leaning against the kitchen island and walked past him to the fridge. Daniel turned his head to watch. Terry had gone clothes shopping recently, to replace some things that were getting old. He was wearing a few of his new purchases today: A checked powder blue button down and a pair of camel linen slacks. The pants in particular fit him very well and Daniel was thoroughly enjoying the view.
Terry opened the fridge. “Do you want to be there for that? I thought we could start tomorrow morning, but I know you wanted to pick Anthony up from his sleepover yourself.”
Daniel made a noncommittal noise, still captivated by the curve of Terry’s ass.
Terry shut the fridge with his hip. He came back with the bottle of creamer and set it by Daniel’s coffee. “Not that there’ll be a sleepover if we don’t make these brunch reservations.” He crossed the room to the intercom by the door and pressed a button. “Things One and Two – we’re leaving in half an hour, you better not have gone back to sleep.”
Sam and Anthony’s garbled voices came back through the speaker, making noises that sounded like affirmatives.
“Good.” Terry walked back to the central area of the kitchen, sipping on his coffee. He turned away from Daniel, opening the silverware drawer.
Daniel couldn’t help himself. He reached out and pinched his husband’s butt.
Terry started slightly. He turned around, regarding Daniel with a raised eyebrow and a smile. “What was that for?”
Daniel shrugged, grinning. “For being sexy.”
Terry set his coffee down, grinning back. Stepping into Daniel’s space, he caged him in with an arm on either side of the island countertop. “Are you flirting with me, Mr. LaRusso?”
Daniel smoothed his hands down Terry’s chest and batted his eyelashes. “You’re a smart man, Mr. Silver. You figure it out.”
“Hmm.” Terry scooped Daniel up, set him on top of the island, and kissed him. Daniel sighed and kissed him back, sliding his hands into his husband's soft, snow white hair. Wrapping his legs around Terry’s waist, he rubbed a calf over that perfect fucking bubble butt. Terry growled, sucked Daniel’s lower lip into his mouth –
“Ewww, gross!”
They broke apart at the sound of their son’s voice. Anthony was already backing out of the room, hands covering his eyes.
Next to him, Sam made a face. “Well that’s the last time we’ll ever be ready to go early.”
Daniel knew he was bright red. Terry just shook his head, smiling with fond exasperation. “Go put your shoes on, we’ll be there in a minute.”
“Yeah, sure you will,” Sam muttered, leaving to follow her brother.
When they were gone, the two men looked at each other. A moment of silence elapsed – and then Daniel dissolved into a fit of giggles, burying his face in his husband’s neck. “Jesus. They’ll never let us live that down, will they?”
“Add it to the list. How’s my hair?”
Daniel sat up. He smoothed his hands over the spots where Terry’s hair was rumpled. “Perfect.” Playfully, he tugged on Terry’s shirt collar. “Can I mess it up some more later?”
Terry gave him another soft kiss. “Always.”
