Hanzawa was a very closed off person.. even to his lover, Tashiro.
But maybe it didn't have to be that way from now on...

A day earlier...
Tashiro was late to wake up as he wasn't a morning person. Hanzawa on the other hand has already woken up and Tashiro can smell something delicious from the kitchen
"Ooh~ What are you making, Masato-san?"
"Mmm.. I'm still not used to that."
"And.. I'm making pancakes."
"Still? Even after 4 months?"
"Smells delicious by the way!"
"Thank you!"
"Hehe~ It just feels weird when you're the one saying it. In a good way I mean."
"Well then, I'll continue, my dear Masato-san~"
Hanzawa giggled as he set aside the last pancake with a flip and then placed it on the plate with the rest of the pancakes.
"Come take a seat my wonderfully handsome boyfriend~"
And Tashiro does so.
That's 1...
They ate their breakfast and since it's Saturday, they decided to head out for a walk. A light stroll would be good to ease down the breakfast.
They came to a stop at a town square. There were street vendors, stalls and stalls all filled with miscellaneous items, people jogging around, walking their pets, and some taking a nice seat at the water fountain.
"Hmm.. Where should we stop by first..?"
"Wherever my handsome Shiro goes, then I'll go there too"
That's 2...
"Well then... let's shop at some of the stalls and take a seat at the fountain once we're done!"
"That sounds like a great idea! Off we go then!"
Both of them went to the stalls to buy whatever piques their interest. Moments later, they decided to split up to buy their own things...

"Hanzawa-san!"
"Tashiro-kun!"
"Oh?"
"Oh?"
"Ah, you go first, Hanzawa-san" Tashiro suggested as he hides something behind his back. And what was Hanzawa to say no to such a cute face?
"Alright.. uh.. if you don't mind, could you extend your hand out?"
"Uhh- which side-"
"Hahaha! Either one is fine~"
Tashiro adjusted and took out his right hand. Hanzawa slipped on a cute golden bracelet with a sun charm dangling from it
"Now we match!" Hanzawa took out his left hand to see a similar looking bracelet. Only this time it was silver and had a moon charm attached to it.
Tashiro felt like he could cry right there-
"Well? were you also gonna give me something? Probably something that's behind your back, I suppose?" Hanzawa slightly leaned to his side to get a better view of what Tashiro was hiding
"Oh, right! Uhm, here you go Ha- Masato-san!" Tashiro gave him a bouquet of Magenta, Light Blue, and Light Purple lilacs
"Oh yeah! The shopkeeper also told me that the Magenta ones means love and passion, The Light Blue ones meant happiness and tranquility, and the Light Purple ones meant first love!... All fit you so I.. couldn't really choose.. So I brought them all!"
Hanzawa stared at the bouquet at hand and slowly broke into laughter
"M-Masato-san??"
"Hahaha~ Oh god Tashiro-kun.. You're so cute.."

Hanzawa took the bouquet though happily "But.. thank you.. for this. These are so beautiful." Hanzawa took one of the Magenta lilacs and placed one of them on his ear
"Do I look good?"
Tashiro blushed at the lovely sight that was his boyfriend. "Absolutely perfect..."
Hanzawa giggled as Tashiro lightly placed his hand against his cheek. Hanzawa leaning onto the touch.

They were back in their home and it was lunch time. Though both didn't feel much hunger so they decided to cuddle in their bed
"My lovely Shiro-kun.."

Tashiro hugged tighter but not too much that Hanzawa would feel uncomfortable in. Tashiro lightly brushed off the hair on his forehead and placed a kiss on it. To which Hanzawa hummed softly as a response.
They both felt sleepy and decided to take a small nap in each other's arms... Lunch can wait...

It was afternoon. Both Tashiro and Hanzawa have already eaten. Currently they're both on the couch. With Tashiro laying on his lap and Hanzawa gently stroking his hair.
"Masato-san?"
"Hm?"
"If I was a girl, would you still love me?"
Hanzawa looked down at Tashiro who looked like he was deep in thought. And Hanzawa couldn't help but giggle
"Now what kind of question is that?"
"Heyy. I'm being serious!"
Hanzawa giggled more. It was music to Tashiro's ears
"Well.. I think I'll still love you the same way. I love you for you! And you're my wonderful Tashiro." Hanzawa said as he caressed Tashiro's cheek. Tashiro turned his head to kiss his palm to which Hanzawa's response was to duck his head down and give him a quick kiss on the lips
Tashiro was caught off guard and turned bright red afterwards. Hanzawa just laughs in pure amusement.
That's 5...
"You're a bit unfair sometimes..." Tashiro sat up and looked at Hanzawa as he pouts
"I can't help it! My cute Shiro is so cute when he blushes!" Tashiro's response was to look away and blush even more

It was almost sundown. Tashiro and Hanzawa decided to go for a walk again. This time at a local park. They sat together on a bench. Tashiro bought Ice cream for both of them.
"Your ice cream looks good! can I have a taste?"
"Sure." Hanzawa took a spoonful and fed it to Tashiro. Tashiro's eyes shimmered
"That tastes so good! Damnit now I wish I brought that for me!"
"Yours can't be too bad, right? Let me taste."
"Well, it's kinda sweet but not as much as yours" Tashiro was preparing a spoonful but as soon as he turned around Hanzawa's lips surged forward to his. And it wasn't just any kiss.
Hanzawa placed both of his hands on his cheeks as he deepened the kiss. Leaving the ice cream besides him
As for Tashiro's ice cream, he accidentally dropped it on the ground as Hanzawa pressed in deeper. Tashiro shifted his angle and placed both of hands on top of Hanzawa's
Both of them pulled out and were breathing heavily. Hanzawa said in between breathes
"Well... I think it tastes just fine..."
Hanzawa smirked as he saw Tashiro flush red
"Hanzawa-san!!"
Hanzawa laughs "Oh, I really love you, My handsome Tashiro~"
"mm.. I love you too.." Tashiro grumbled, averting his gaze

"My ice cream..."
"I'm sorry, Dear. Let's buy you a new one, okay? The same flavor as mine like you wanted."
"Okay.."

They were walking somewhere that Tashiro didn't know. But he just let him lead him to the place..
When they arrived, Tashiro was in awe. It was a grass field a bit hidden away from all the people
"I found this place while I was walking the other day. And I thought I should really bring my handsome boyfriend to this place..."
Tashiro looked at Hanzawa. Hanzawa gave him his usual smile.

Hanzawa brought Tashiro a bit further into the field. Hanzawa sat down and patted the grass beside him. Tashiro took the offer and sat next to him as they gazed upon the night sky.
"Beautiful isn't it.."
"Yeah..."
"Just like you..."

"You're gonna make me blush again...!"
"I'm just telling the truth."
"Can't argue with that, I suppose..."
As soon as Tashiro said that, Hanzawa fell and laid down on the grass. Tashiro did the same thing... It was peaceful... It's just them and the starry sky...
"Hey... Tashiro-kun..?"
"Hm..?"
"Do you... ever feel like regretting being with me...?"
Tashiro was shocked at the question and propped up his elbows to look at Hanzawa.
"...what..?"
Hanzawa just looked at the night sky above them..
"I know. It's a silly question. Probably even a foolish one.. but... I can't help but think about it sometimes and I wanted to get it out of my chest..."
"... Masato-san..."
"...I know I'm not really... open to you about a lot of things but... I'm just scared of what you'll think about them... What you'll think about me..."
Hanzawa sighed
"I've always wanted to share a lot of things with you... but for some reason... I'm scared... I know I shouldn't be but—"
"You're wrong.."
Hanzawa looked at Tashiro with wide eyes
"You're wrong in so many ways.."
Tashiro sat up... he sighed out and looked at the starry sky above
"I don't care if there are things you don't want to share. I understand that. I know I keep saying to always talk to me if anything bothers you. But please... don't force yourself to tell me something you don't want to say. We have enough time in the world to wait when you're ready..."
Hanzawa was still looking at Tashiro... He sat up... he looked at Tashiro again and saw his complexion basking in the moonlight..
"You're so... perfect.. Shiro-kun..."
"...10."
"What?"
"That's 10 compliments..."
Hanzawa tilted his head
"You were... counting my compliments throughout the day?"
"I have always been. That should explain the amount of kisses I give you all at once before we go to sleep."
Hanzawa was a bit dumbfounded at the statement.
"That... that's the reason behind them??"
"Yep! Just a payback for all of the compliments you've given me... And... I realized I never really give you much huh.."
"What..?"
"Instead of kisses... I'll give you 10 of your most lovable traits!"
"W-what??"
"Let's start!"
"Wait!"
"I love the color of your eyes... They remind me of a calm ocean!"
"T-Tashiro—"
"I love the way you laugh... it gives me happiness knowing I can make you happy"
"I—"
"I love your smiles... Especially your genuine ones. I'm such a lucky man to even witness such smiles from you."
"I love the way you put passion into your work."
"I love the way you tease me and the way you joke with me"
"I love your hands. They hold a certain warmth that gives me tranquility."
"I love how you know the right words to say every time."
"I love how you never fail to amaze me."
"I love that you always worry about me and look out to me"
"T-Tashiro. Please—"
"And finally..." Tashiro turned to Hanzawa who was red from the rapid fire of compliments...
"I love you.. all of you..."
"... Tashiro.."
"You are a remarkable person. Masato-san... And I don't think 10 compliments is enough for me to describe how remarkable you are..."
Hanzawa felt like he could cry... He's so blessed to have such an amazing boyfriend who was so patient with him and so honest with him... He feels so comfortable that he can be himself with him...
Hanzawa moved closer to Tashiro to hug him in his torso as he rests his head on his shoulder...
"I'm so lucky to have met you.."
"And I'm lucky to have met you too..."
And there they both decided to linger a little longer to watch the night sky in comfortable silence.
Hanzawa was a very closed off person.. even to his lover, Tashiro.
But maybe it didn't have to be that way from now on...
