Fluorescent lights and wet carpet, Not necessarily the preferred work environment for some employees but it's their job
“As you can see, the backrooms have become more stable over the past decade, but since there has been more rooms discovered by our MEG bases there has been reports of more entities, but level 1 has been stable with minimal entities like smilers and skin stealers, but they have been neutralised and taken to our research area on level 0. ” said jade.
The girl was presenting in front of the CEO and her co partner Brett, nervous as hell but can stay calm in these situations.
“Thanks for the weekly report, do you need any materials to continue your research?” Reagan asked.
“W-we need some more almond water to T-tame and defend ourselves from entities.” she replied.
“That's ok, we’ll send scavengers to your branch tomorrow so you'll have heaps in no time. ”
“Thank you.”
With a heavy door slammed behind her, jade could breathe.
“These backrooms sound so cool! I wanna go visit them and see what they look like in person!” Brett said.
“I guess we can” Reagen replied
“We will need to be extra careful though, people have been known to go missing.”

“Ok we just need to go through some precautions before you explore the backrooms” jade instructed, it was her boss but she didn't want to be responsible for getting them lost in a dangerous environment.
“You need to hold onto this rope at ALL TIMES, if you hear any sounds or voices, unless stated that is a real person, it is illusionary audio do not trust it.”
“No clipping between levels is strictly forbidden with the exception for the MEG team. If you see any entities use this almond water to defend yourselves. Also if you do get separated these voice transmitters should be able keep you voice connected, like on a voice call.”
“Oh boy, I'm so excited!” Brett exclaimed.
As they went into the back rooms Brett started to speed up.
“Wow! I've heard legends but never thought it was real!”
forgetting brett was on a rope he ran to a smeared patch of paint on the wall, but when reagen was trying to get him to slow down, the rope snapped with a big CRACK! And when the rope broke Reagen saw Brett disappear into glitches, and the door behind her vanished so there were only corridors.
