Chapter Text
This first chapter might be a bit slow, just thought I'd tell you that
Also, nothing belongs to me except for Maya and Mischief!

Forrest outside of Rota, somewhere between Hoenn and Kanto
It was a bit before morning, the sun just starting to appear on the horizon In the sky
In the sky, a Taillow was flying around, checking out different things that were happening in the calm forrest area
Many pokemon were still asleep, in either trees or on the ground, but a few pokemon were awake, roaming around the areas they were in
The Taillow then noticed a group of three pokemon, a Pichu, an Eevee, and a Buneary, standing over a hole with a distressed looking Ralts in it
It landed on a nearby tree, and its form suddenly shifted, a bit of pink appearing before the now Swellow flew to where the group was, and picked up the Ralts by it's collar, getting them out of the hole and back to their friends
The group was really grateful, and after giving their thanks the group of four then went off, soon meeting with a Riolu and a Bagon
The Swellow(?) Watched, a smile forming on its face
Suddenly it stopped, it's eyes slightly widening due to a sudden feeling of energy through it's body
At full speed it sped off into the woods, suddenly disappearing and reappearing in what looked like the inside of a big tree, with what looked like a few large blue crystals in the middle
Crystals that were currently glowing
The Pokemons form shifted, the wings turning to arms, the eyes turning from black to a light blue, and it's fur turning a light pink
Before long, Mew was flying over to the crystals to inspect them
Looking over the crystals, Mew could see the faint silhouettes of a human and a pokemon. And while they were blurry, Mew recognized them all too well
Suddenly, the crystals glowed brighter and brighter, until Mew had to back away and shield her eyes from how bright it was
But soon the light died down, and Mew unshielded their eyes. And upon seeing the two slumped unconscious next to eachother, there was only one thing she could say
":Oh:"

Iron island, Sinnoh
Underneath Iron Island, there were many tunnels that had many pokemon roaming in them
Currently, a trainer dressed in blue was carrying a slightly injured Kirlia toward the exit/entrance of the cave, accompanied by a Lucario
"Good thing we got here in time, those Onix can be mean, to say the least" he talked to the two pokemon, his tone soft, but serious
":Riley, do you think there is any reason the Onix became aggressive towards him?:" The Lucario at his side asked him, pointing at the Kirlia
"I don't know, Lucario. But i do think it might have something to do with the nest that was nearby, likely the Onix's" Riley replied to his partner
The Kirlia made a few noises, which Lucario translated as a conformation of that fact
Soon, they exited the cave, and started speed walking towards the direction of the pokemon center
But around halfway there, a wave of energy came over Riley and Lucario, causing them to stumble a bit, but they quickly caught themselves before they could fall
They have eachother a look, as if asking 'you felt that too, didn't you?' But they had a job to do, getting the injured pokemon treated, so they brushed it off and went back to what they were doing before
But why did the aura that they felt feel almost identical to his own?

Hammerlocke, Galar
Unlike the other places, it was later in the day in Galar
Many people were currently walking around, sitting or playing in parks, or going in and out of shops
Currently outside a cafe, two boys and a Pikachu were sitting and discussing whatever they felt like talking about
"I'm just saying, it is entirely possible that Gengar could be Clefable's shadow!" One of the boys, Goh, was telling his friend
"Ooh, it does sound possible!" The boy with the Pikachu, Ash, responded
"I know right?" Goh responded back
Suddenly, Ash felt a wave of energy come over him, and he gripped the table so he didn't potentially fall out of his chair as his Lucario came out of their pokeball
"Lucario? Ash, are you ok?" Goh, asked, concerned
":Are you ok Ash?:"
"Yeah, just felt a bit weird just now" Ash told him, regaining his composure
"You sure?" "Yes"
"Well if you say so, but I'm still concerned" Goh said, to which Pikachu made a noise of agreement "they recently opened a new shop, want to see what's inside?"
"Sure!" Ash agreed "do you want to go with, Lucario?"
Lucario made a noise of agreement, and they were off
But Ash couldn't kick the feeling he might need to visit Rota again soon

Goldenrod City, Johto
It was somewhat early morning in Goldenrod
In Goldenrod, there were many things a person could do, such as play at the game corner, buy stuff at the department store (s), or challenge the gym
Currently a young girl and a Riolu were walking down a sidewalk, the girl holding a Cleffa in one hand, and the Riolu's hand (paw?) In the other
"Are you sure this is the same Cleffa that ran from the daycare?" The young girl, Maya, asked the Riolu
":Yep. She has a small band on her arm, see?:" The Riolu, Mischief, told her while pointing to said armband
"Oh, okay" Maya said, going back to looking forward
Soon they arrived at said daycare, and entered
"Excuse me" the spoke to the older person at the counter "I think this is the Cleffa that ran from here?" She then held said pokemon up to the worker
"Oh! There you are" the worker said, picking up the pokemon "Thank you so much! She tends to wander off to look at the city... A lot" they told Maya
"You're welcome!" Maya beamed, then going out the way she entered
Suddenly, the same wave of energy came over Maya and Mischief, causing the latter to stumble and Maya to stumble and fall on her bum
"Oh dear! Are you ok?" The worker asked, concerned
"Yes I am" Maya told them, getting up
"It's still pretty early, you could be tired. I can call any caretakers you have to pick you up, if you want" the worker told her
Maya thought for a second "Okay"
But she was still gonna keep this event in the back of her mind

A bunch of people were walking around, doing different tasks, or just hanging out
A group of three similarly dressed people were walking down one of the halls with a purpose, with people who were walking in the opposite direction moving out of the way recognizing they needed to be somewhere asap
Soon the trio reached the end of the hallway where a pair of double doors were, and the one in front knocked
"Come in" an annoyed sounding voice answered
Entering the room, they saw a tall-ish man standing over a desk covered with papers, his back turned to them
"Sir, we found some energy signals in Rota, near the tree of beginning" they told him
The man smiled "curious"
"But there is already a group there, and they are not on our side" The man's smile turned back into a frown "then get rid of them"
"Of course sir" they answered, before turning heel and leaving
The man then went back to looking over the papers on his desk "let's see if you really are in there Aaron"
