Chapter Text
The air on Isle 2 was soaked with the scent of smoke and soot. This could only mean that the dragon inhabiting the tower on the 2nd isle, Grim Matchstick: was in a depressive; self-loathing mood today. Grim felt terrible for the things he had done, and the things he had said while having one of his depressive episodes. All those who happen to passersby could hear his wailing: the sounds of his anguish and hatred towards himself. Grim could be heard from sugarland, trashing things around in his castle, subconsciously whipping his tail around, and his breath becoming hot and scorching.
Sugarland was in a slight uproar, with the arrival of smoke from the northeast. The little sugar denizens were scrambling, unaccustomed to the cloud of dragon's breath that was settling unto the ground like a thick fog. The queen, Baroness Von bon-Bon, was not accustomed to this sight coming from Grim. She had a feeling something was wrong, but the day was early: and she had royal duties to attend to, not to mention calming her subjects from the arriving smoke-cloud.
"Everyone, Get inside safely to the castle and your homes!"
The Baroness spoke with haste in her voice, wanting everyone to be safe first. While she initially felt a little resentment towards Grim because her subjects were being subjugated to the smoke, she knew he doesnt do this in a normal basis. Every once in a while when Grim makes someone angry, he hides in his castle for some time and cries out his troubles. But not like this.. this was different, with the large amount of smoke, and the wailing that could be heard all the way in sugarland.
"S-s-stupid! How can I be s-s-so thoughtless and c-carless!?"
The upset dragon wailed as he was flying very erratically around; his tail whipping around the main hall of the tower.
"I s-s-should have been better, I-I should have helped Cala fix what I-I-I broke instead of l-leaving!"
He was flying in circles with his eyes darting around, not looking where he is going and eventually knocking his head into a column without noticing. Grim winces and rubs his nose before he continues on his flying pattern, crying out the thoughts in his head. Even if Grim already said something about himself, it seems he could not get over it, and was obsessed with how selfishly he treats other people.
"I-im s-s-such a terrible creature.."
He cried to himself, his voice getting more quiet but his self-deprecating comments only being spoken at a faster rate.
"Terrible, t-terrible.. n-no good.."
eventually, Grim lost his energy to fly because of how many times he recklessly hit a wall, but it further fueled his self hatred as he looked out the window.
Grim was unable to contain the hatred he had for himself. The dragon profusely cried, his tears developing steam and smoke as Grim sobbed for what seemed like hours, or even longer. Grim wailed cries of anguish and despair, his thoughts unable to be contained.
-----
"I'm N-no good.." I keep telling myself. it seems I have been saying the same words to myself for hours at a time, I have not been able to tell how much time has passed, but I can tell by the amount of sun that is in the castle, I spent most of my day crying about what I did not do, and I didn't even take a moment to go over and fix the problem that I caused. Someone else shouldn't have to fix the problem I made..
-----
The night was approaching, and the queen of sugarland was a little tense. She had heard the groans and cries from the tower across the way, and has seen the smoke come from his domain. The Baroness knew that Grim is someone who is normally quiet, for someone to make that much noise, he must feel terrible about something. The Baroness is one to keep to herself, she prefers the company of her own candy-kingdom creatures over that of any denizen from the inkwell isles. But she felt something unique in her candy heart, seeing that fire, smelling the smoke, and hearing the cries come from the tower really made her wonder. She could see no one else but her was awake at this hour: the sounds of fireflies on fire, and the distant noise of Grim's not so distant cry, was all that the Baroness could hear. She rose from her royal chair laden with candy-cane decorations, and exited the castle gates. She made her way across the isle, towards Grim's domain. The closer she got, the more clearly she could hear Grim talking to himself.
The Baroness approached his castle, curious as to why the dragon of Inkwell Isles was up so late and sounded so, depressed. She had known him to be quiet, never to be loud like tonight: something must have really set him off and upset him, she thought. She put her ear up to the door, wanting to hear more exactly what the dragon is wailing about.
"My s-s-stupid head, why do I have to be s-special!?"
Grim cried as his face were cupped in his claws, and his head drooped down towards the floor. The tears were still coming out, water making a little splash as it rained down from his eyes.
"Everyone s-says how e-eccentric I am and h-h-how I have s-s-special needs.."
This time, Grim did not continue on talking. He was quiet after hours of nonstop crying. He looked outside at the moon and sighed as he looked back inside at what he had done during the tantrum. Many objects destroyed, a lot of walls cracked, and most of all: Grim's spirit felt broken. Grim felt worse than he did when he started, usually he feels like he gets it all out, but this time he only feels like the self-hatred has only festered and gotten worse. Grim laid his head on the window, to look outside: to try and forget that he even felt this way at all.
-----
I was taken back at the things I heard beyond Grim's door. While I knew he was sensitive, and he was someone who is very gentle, I did not know he, felt that way. I could see him from a window in the middle. His face was wet from tears, the expression on his face was pure hopelessness, as if nothing would get better for him, and that he truly did not like himself. I have no relation with Grim, yet I'm the only one up and seemingly the only one who cares for this poor, lonely dragon. I felt convicted whether I should knock or not. I did not want to upset him any more, and I certainly did not want to worry him. But before I could make my decision, I saw Grim looking down as his eyes spotted me. His face was filled with the expression of worry before he vanished from my sight. After a few moments, and some noises and crashing, I could tell the dragon was behind the door. I so greatly wanted to know what happened, and if my wisdom can help the poor dragon. I knew that Grim was just on the other side of the door, yet he did not open nor say a word. I gave my trademark, regal knock.
-----
"H-h-h-hello?"
Grim stuttered sheepishly, speaking from behind the door. The dragon was so shy and reserved, even though he saw the face of the beautiful queen of sugarland outside and knew who was there, he still wanted to ask out of politeness.
"It is the Baroness, may I enter?"
She asked with eagerness.
"W-w-why?"
Grim protested, still feeling unworthy of being in the presence of another.
"I'm not here to make you feel bad, I promise."
The Baroness knew that she had not answered his question, but the dragon felt like she was not here to scold him, and within a few moments, the creaky door that leads into Grim's domain opened slowly. She first peered in, then shuffled in before closing the door. While the cobblestone, ancient castle was definitely not like her grand, sugarland castle, she found it to be very spacious and surprisingly homey. It was like all those old books about the princess in the tower, being made of old brick and ancient building techniques. The Baroness withheld her interest in the old architecture, and focused on who she came here for: Grim Matchstick.
His place was a mess, and was battered: she could tell Grim had a fit in this tower, though he ignored the mess as he plopped himself on the ground in an uncomfortable position. The Baroness suddenly realized that the 2 never properly greeted one another, though they knew well who they both were. She wanted to be careful, not to upset the dragon in his clearly sensitive state. She cared about him, and the last thing she wanted was Grim upset because of her.
"I am the Baroness of sugarland, what is your name?"
The baroness softly said.
"I-I-I'm Grim M-Matchstick, why are y-y-you here tonight?"
Grim said in a surprisingly calm tone, despite his current emotional state.
"I came here tonight because, I'm worried for you. I saw smoke coming out of your tower all day, and even at night I see it. My people in sugarland were almost suffocated from the smoke you were blowing much of the day, not to mention people in the carnival. You don't blow soot and smoke unless you are angry, or upset. I know you only got mad once, towards those cup-headed kids. So I-"
Before she could finish, Grim was already preparing for the worst. Grim has heard every complaint of every type. 'Don't be so reckless Grim' and 'watch where you are flying' and-
The Baroness noticed he was mouthing the words he had on his mind, and had to do something to get him to snap out of it, without making him feel bad.
"Grim, hey, what's going on? I just want to know what's up, I've been worried about you ever since I saw the smoke coming from your tower, we have all been worried about you."
At this point the Baroness stopped standing in one spot farther away and moved closer to Grim, she truly wanted him to understand that she was genuine and really was truthful in what she was saying. Grim flinched just a little as she approached, but his eyes softened, and his body relaxed ever so slightly as she said 'worried.'
"W-w-what do you mean? You, were, w-w-worried?"
"Just as I mean it Grim, I was worried for you."
Her gaze was now less of a strict one, and more of a friendly one. Her eyes became less harsh, and she looked at him with genuine concern, and great care.
"Y-you were worried, about m-me?"
"Of course I was. I mean, we've never really met, but I know you, and I know when you are upset. I can hear your cries, your aches, your pains.."
The baroness clutched her chest just a little, emotionally showing that she sympathizes with him.
"I know what it is like to disappoint others too, you are not alone, I promise you Grim."
The dragon immediately teared up: he was not used to someone being so, caring. Nobody cared about Grim: he was a scary, big dragon, that breathed smoke and fireballs. He was just the scariest thing in Inkwell. Yet here was the queen of sugarland in his own domain, saying how she cares for him. He sniffled and wiped away the tears forming in his eyes.
"b-b-but aren't I bad for the s-s-smoke?"
"Of course not Grim, you just got upset, it doesn't mean you are evil, it doesn't even mean you are bad. It just means you got upset, there is nothing wrong or bad about that."
The dragon almost did not know how to respond. Thiswas the first time any one had ever come to comfort him in his time of need, like she came right when he needed someone to explain these emotions of frustration to. Not only to vent, and to get things out, but to help someone else to, to make a difference in someone else's life. Grim was so overflowed with emotions that he quickly picked her up in his arms and gave her a gentle, yet tight squeeze of a hug. Grim was not super big, or super strong, but his grasp was, so soothing, so caring somehow. He slowly let her down, his face starting to erupt in redness like a fireball was hiding in his cheeks.
The Baroness felt something other than sympathy for Grim. Sure, she heard the cries and the wailing and wanted to do something about it and not be a bystander, yet she felt a deeper emotion than just care that you might have for a friend. She felt, like she could become attached to him emotionally. I mean, who really knows Grim? He is very shy and does not speak often in public, and when he does its often full of apology. The Baroness wanted to know more, she was both curious, and had some feeling for the green, admittingly adorable dragon.
The baroness was tired of standing and decided to relax more leisurely, laying back into a pillow that was on a chair. Grim had also taken a more relaxing approach, going from his stiff position to a much more relaxing one like that of the Baroness. The 2 talked for a seemingly long time, even though it was very late at night, they learned more about each-other. The baroness learned that Grim has mental disabilities, and why in his temper tantrums he gets very upset. He also explained why he has a hard time fixing the problems that he caused.
Grim continues to share details and events that were important in his life. Most importantly, the first time he made someone mad. When he was a young dragon, he set Cagney Incarnation's garden on fire with a stray fireball. Cagney really let him have it, and he remembers the embarrassment and the terrible feeling in his heart after that day. Talking about these things brought back the terrible emotion that came with it. Whenever Grim messes up, he re-plays negative events that occurred before, unable to cease the negativity from flowing in.
"g-gosh, I really m-m-messed up Cagney's place t-t-that time..."
She could see this as Grim returned with the same look of sorrow he had previously, going back into his old loop again with the thoughts that seemingly never go away. The Baroness took a risky move, as she wanted Grim to 'snap out of it' and return to his more open self like just a few seconds ago. She reached up, pulled his face closer to hers, and just gazed into his eyes deeply. His words quickly faded from being comments of self deprecation, to silence with a flushed gaze. The faces of Grim and the Baroness were both red as a maple tree in the deep fall, though neither of them moved farther away from one-another. The Baroness could feel Grim's hot breath inches away from her face: it soothed her too, his warmth and proximity.
The candy queen absentmindedly was holding both his claws in her hands, feeling the texture of his scales, and admiring all the little details of him. She was close, and his eyes became so soft, like ice-cream that is ready to eat on a warm summer day. His breath turned from soot at being upset, to just air. She could feel his muscles relax when she held his claws and gazed at him. His wings were fluttering and moving, like his heart could barely contain itself. No words were spoken for some time, just the affectionate gazing from the baroness of sugarland to the shy, sweet dragon.
Grim could hardly contain his emotions: his eyes were practically heart-shaped while they both shared these moments. The dragon felt brazen, a very unusual feeling for him: in fact Grim never, ever felt brave before. He inched his way closer to the Baroness, their hands still tangled and held together. He slowly started to notice the little details about her that made his heart flutter and beat like crazy. Her gaze was so soft, yet so intense, fiery, and full of emotion. Her attire has such a sweet inspiration to it, or always did: Grim always thought her apparel to be so beautiful.
These moments he was spending with the Baroness were healing to him. Grim was having a harder time bringing back the sour memories of his wrong-doing, as he could only bring himself to have romanticizing thoughts about the sweet candy queen that was still holding his claws like he was the most precious thing in all of Inkwell.
Grim was beaming with delight, little hearts could be seen flying around his head as the gaze only grew more affectionate, which was finally broken by the Baroness looking outside, and realizing just how much time they have spent with each-other.
The dragon and the queen of sugarland were speechless during this tender time. Hours could have passed by, in fact: many hours did pass in the time they spent gazing and affectionately staring at one another. The Baroness, after a seemingly long time staring at Grim, wrapped her arms around his stomach and held him. She felt tired after being up all day and then all night, so she leaned a bit of her weight unto Grim whilst still holding his claws tenderly. She could honestly sleep on the cozy, warm dragon, though she quickly realized why she should not: morning would come and she had to be present in sugarland. She came late at night, and the dawn could be seen arriving: the moon waving goodbye to the sun as it begins to be visible. But she took advantage of this time to embrace him in endearing silence.
"You know Grim, I should get going, I do have my candy subjects to take care, and sugarland will not function properly with my absence."
She spoke hesitantly, because deep down, she did not want this moment to end. She felt such a deep closeness to Grim, it's like the things he says make sense, the Baroness understands him. Not like that Beppi that constantly annoys her and her subjects, whom is not a very nice clown: Grim was so soft. She had never been in the presence of someone so gentle.
"T-that makes sense! P-p-please, your candymen are waiting f-f-for you most likely!"
Grim opened the door and escorted her out, taking her to the exit and waving goodbye. Before she left, the Baroness wanted to leave Grim with something: she took off one of her gumdrop buttons from the seams of her dress and put it in his hand. She motioned for him to keep it, so that he can feel her warmth even while she is in her kingdom.
"W-w-will you come back? I-I would love to have you h-h-here again!"
"Ah Grim, of course I will, if I don't come tonight, I will surely be there the next evening. And, without question, you can come visit sugarland to your heart's content!"
She booped his nose with her finger and let out a soft giggle, which made his heart melt like an icecube in the hot sun.
"Just remember, try not to let off any more smoke, okay Grim~?"
She smiled so sweetly, Grim had to hold himself back from blushing hard, though his cheeks were cherry red like the colors on her dress. Happy steam came out of his nose, and he nodded with delight.
"Of c-course!"
The baroness turned to leave, but before she did, she wanted to leave Grim with a little something else before the next time they see each-other. She turned around, reached up high, pulled his face close to hers, and gave his cute little snout a loving, sweet kiss, that was filled with care and tenderness. She winked at him, and made her way back to sugarland. Grim practically fell backwards afterwards, almost unable to comprehend what had just happened.
Grim eyes were twirling around in a daze, stunned at what just happened. He fell back, and laid his head down outside his home happily. No longer did frustrated steam come out of his nose, but rather a happy little sound of his gentle breathing. Grim did not sleep this peacefully in, well, he has never slept so well before in all his life.
-----
"Wow, what a night.."
I said to myself as I approached the gates to sugarland, the guards instantly saluting me and greeting me back into the kingdom. One guard made a comment about my arrival from Grim's palace. I have not slept all night, too focused and interested in Grim. 'Oh Grim.' I said to myself. I could not get the thought of him out of my head. His cute smile, endearing actions, his sweet voice, his caring hug, the little heart affects around him as if he were in a rubber-hose cartoon: all of it was so, attractive. I wanted to stay with Grim, I did not want to leave his side, I want to be there for him, always caring and listening like I knew he would do for me when I need someone to listen.
I dragged myself from the castle gates to the entrance, where the sentient castle of sugarland was now aware of my royal presence. He used his gingerbread arms to pick me up and gently place me in my royal bedchambers. I changed to clothing better fit for bed, grabbed my blankets, and hugged them tight as I drifted off to sleep. I was unable to think of anything else but being cuddled into that sweet, caring dragon, his warmth radiating unto me, and his body wrapped around me. The thought was so soothing, I did not notice that I slept through most of the morning and afternoon.
When I awoke in the middle of the day, I hurriedly put on my royal gown, and went out to sugarland to attend to my royal duties. I wondered, how Grim was doing. I really hope he is safe, and feeling better.
-----
Grim Matchstick could hardly contain himself when he awoke, replaying the memories like it would forever be a night he treasures. He didn't know if her feelings were genuine or just something that happened to make him feel better, but as he clutched the gumdrop from the Baroness, he smiled widely which is very unusual for Grim. He went back inside his house, as he was sleeping still outside from the surprise kiss, and he decided to clean up the mess he made in his home.
"A-alright, I've got to clean it a-a-all up now.."
There was a huge mess, from broken slabs of cobblestone to broken furniture and decorations, and a few steps to the stairs that go straight up: were missing from all the thrashing around. Grim took an armful of debris at a time and threw it outside the window, looking before he tossed it in case there was someone passing by. It took him more than a few hours, it took most of the afternoon.
There was a pile of debris and trash from the demolition which Grim needed to take away. With the help of Wally and Hilda, the 3 of them were able to scoop up all the debris and put it on a boat for the mainland where it can be taken care of. Whilst they were loading it unto the boat, Grim lost balance on his side and a lot of the debris tipped off the boat into the water. He worked up the courage to ask Cala Maria to help him get the debris in the water. Despite the fact that he had previously embarrassed himself with the mermaid by not helping her fix what he broke, he did not feel the same reluctance to ask, as he did as much before.
Grim was relieved when he came home and things were tidy and clean again, no longer did it look like a bachelors pad and looked more like a respectable castle. Grim thought it was strange though, that throughout today, he did not have a fit or tantrum. Even when things went wrong, which does happen no matter what: Grim was proud of himself for not succumbing to his emotional outbursts.
-----
It was a long, almost dreary day for The Baroness. She had to deal with more than one nuisance: first that annoying Beppi the clown tried to take something that is rightfully hers, which was her colorful jelly-beans. The Baroness had to chase away the sneaky clown with her trademark shotgun. His honking and screaming of fear could be heard from afar.
Though not only that, she had Captain Brineybeard try to dock near the whipped-cream port, which did not end well: Captain Brineybeard tried to dock his ship, though in the process he demolished a good half of it. So she had to give a long, informative statement to Brineybeard, as well as ordering repairs on the dock.
If that wasn't the cherry on top, then this was: on her way back to the castle, she was surprisingly met by old archenemy: King Dice, in his fancy purple attire and freshly starched gloves. He tried to swindle another deal with her, but after last time, she remembers the advice those kind cup-headed boys gave. She did not even give Dice the time of day, but even as she ignored him, he kept walking alongside her, attempting to sweet-talk her into another bet.
She did not hesitate to pull out the double barrel shotgun that was slung over her shoulder, aiming right at the die.
"I ain't making another deal with you, ya scoundrel!"
He would not let her be, so she had no choice but to cock her gun and take fire at the purple-suited dice. She purposefully aimed past his shoulder, so that he would get the message and leave- which he did rather swiftly. teleported back into the same ground that he came out of, and just like he came, he was gone.
The Baroness could really use a break after all those shenanigans.
-----
It was late in the evening again, though not as late as last night when Grim had his episode. All the lights in the Inkwell isles slowly dim off one by one, save for a few night owls out there. Grim looked onwards to the Baroness's kingdom. He admired it very much, even before the visit yesterday, he thought it was so interesting. After learning about it from the Baroness last night, he became even more intrigued about how things work there. He decided to fly over to sugarland, feeling slightly confident in himself.
There was a small voice inside of him that was saying a great deal of bad things. 'She really doesn't want you around her' and 'she just felt bad for you.' Grim became accustomed to these thoughts, and most of the time he fell into it. But after last night, he feels more confident than he has ever.
He arrived at the gates of sugarland, and approached the guards with a peaceful, harmless gesture. Though the candy guards did not take it kindly, a very intimidating dragon: no less being the one that covered the whole town in smoke yesterday. Though after talking for a few moments, the candy guards could tell he was genuine and they opened up the gates, lowering them upon his entrance.
He gazed around in amazement at all the decorations, the fields of sweet-treats, and above all: the buttery smell of toffee filling the air. He knew where the candy-castle was, as he has seen it from his home before. As Grim flies over, he notices the candy citizens around the castle look worried. Crying and pounding could be heard from inside the royal bedchamber, and no one was brave enough to enter the castle or come anywhere near for that matter.
The Baroness was wailing with tears of frustration tonight, with all the tomfoolery and crazy shenanigans that happened today. All she wanted to do was rest, sleep, Relax. yet she could not, for her mind was racing. 'Why did everything have to happen at once?' she thought to herself, it didn't help that she woke up late, but every moment of waking felt like things tried to interrupt her daily duties. She valued her rest, it was important to her as is the candy-people under her wing.
Just as she put on her regular bubblegum pajamas, she heard some commotion outside from the candy castle she lived in. The Baroness had a feeling that, it was the green dragon she adored. Though, at the current moment, she did not feel the same level of enthusiasm because of the troubled day she had. Even this early, she was just as tired as last night, and she was filled with rage. Still, she knew better not to yell at the poor dragon. She opened her window, to see Grim looking up at her, with a widened happy expression as he flew up to greet her. It was clear that as he approached, the Baroness was tired and not in a cheery mood: there was a visible frown from her face.
"B-Baroness! Is, t-t-this a bad time?"
Grim said with clear worry in his eyes and voice, not being loud.
"Grim, I ughh.."
The Baroness rubbed her face and eyes a little in order to gain her composure, things truly were not the best for her and she did not want to say something she didn't mean. Grim inched a little closer to her.
"look, I. I didn't have the best day today grim. First it was Beppi and his stupid hijinks, then it was Brineybeard and his big obnoxious boat, and finally it was that sleazy dice guy! On top of all tat I woke up later than normal and that threw a wrench into my daily duties as queen.."
She sighed and paced back and forth in her room. It was transparent that she was filled with annoyance and anger. Grim could almost see the steam coming out of her ears, like her head was about to come off. The dragon had no experience in helping anyone emotionally before. He had a little bit of an idea, though he had no idea if it would work. It was crystal clear that she was fatigued, like she was about to pass out. Grim used this opportunity to ask her something, as she laid down unto her bed.
"B-Baroness? I know you must b-b-be exhausted, so maybe you would, like me to sleep a-a-alongside you? I-I can see the bed isn't big enough for me, b-b-but, I can sleep on the floor if you are-"
Before Grim could even finish, the Baroness had crashed. She was laid down in the pillow, her eyes closed and the soft noises of sleep came into the room. The dragon closed the window, and pulled a blanket over her. On closer inspection, the bed is actually much bigger than it appeared. It was truly a bed fit for candy royalty, with rosettes of marzipan and little chocolate hibiscus flowers. Grim turned the lights off, and slithered towards the front of the bed. He curled up like a little cat, and even made a happy noise as he closed his eyes.
"s-sure hope she feels better in the morning.."
-----
The Baroness awoke in the middle of the night, her eyes starting to dart back and forth as she struggled to realize what is going on. It felt like a nightmare was going on, like everything was going off in her head at once. She breathed shallow, and fast, and broke a sweat of sugar crystals. She could see she was in the same room she fell asleep in, and was in no danger. Though, from time to time, the Baroness has these episodes at night, feeling anxious and afraid that something is going to imminently take her away. she knew it was an irrational fear, nothing that was really there to hurt her, yet she could only focus on the fear for her first waking moments. Until she shifted ever so slightly and felt Grim at the feet of the bed.
The presence of the green dragon was calming, relieving. Normally she was alone when these things happen, and she knows her sentient castle was there when things got bad, but it was a different comfort when she felt Grim at her feet. She almost forgot that Grim came at night and visited before she practically passed out. The troubles she felt yesterday, and the imminent anxiety she felt, swiftly disappeared upon gazing at Grim. He was so adorable as he slept, he was curled up in a ball like a cat would be. He was inhaling softly, and she could hardly hear him. She was surprised, as she had thought dragon's always breathed smoke when they sleep.
The Baroness changed her sleeping position to match that of Grim's, as she lay next to him and used his chest. Their faces were close and she was happy about it, she felt more relaxed with Grim by her side. Normally she just freaks out the entire night and never gets back to sleep, but it seems like she would be going to sleep rather swiftly thanks to the sweet, squishy dragon. She gave his nose a little kiss, and she smiled before laying her head and closing her eyes. Grim was still asleep when suddenly his arms wrapped around the Baroness and brought her snug in his chest. At first she let out a small yelp from being picked up so suddenly, but very quickly eased into the enwrapping.
She was so comfortable, the Baroness had never been so, cozy and homey before. Even with her grand bed, and her cotton-candy sheets, being snuggled into the chest of Grim was like being on a cloud: and he was so comfortable. It was like being on a heater, he radiated a warmth like nothing else. It was in this moment that the Baroness realized how deeply she felt. She officially met this dragon yesterday, though they have really known each other for much longer. yet, she wanted to plant kisses all over his face, kiss his sweet lips that say such delightful things, plant smooches all over his nose and nibble on his ears- the list goes on as to what the Baroness wants to share with this sweet, lovable dragon. After all, no one else has shown an interest to her like Grim has, why not take a chance with such a sweetheart?
