Let The World Burn!
“My Lady, you look more beautiful every time I see you.” Chat Noir smiles, as he kisses her hand. While he stares into her eyes.
She can’t help but melt into a puddle right there. Why is he so charming and handsome? And why does she love him so much?
“My Lady… please!! Please stop, I’m sorry! I didn’t know… I didn’t understand!” Chat cries, as she kicks him across the street into a building.
“A rose for my rosy partner.” He hands her a rose, as he kisses her cheek, causing her face to break out in a blush.
“Why thank you, My Kitty.” She smiles at him, taking his free hand and squeezing it.
“Anything for you, My Lady.” He smiles back, as he squeezes her hand.
“I love you, My Lady, I always will!” Lady Blanc mocks as she comes to step in front of Chat Noir. “Where was that love when I professed my love for you? ‘Kitty’.”
“I’m sorry! I didn’t mean to hurt you. Please, I do, I love you!” He reaches out to her, but she recoils.
“Anything My Kitty?” She smiles, releasing his hand. She steps forward and places a hand on his cheek. Before leaning up and kissing him. Oh, how badly she’s wanted this.
“It’s too late My Kitty Kat! You broke my heart, but I found a new one! Thanks to Monarch! But, don’t worry. As soon as I’m done with you. I’ll kill him too. Then the world!!!!” She laughs as she looks down at the whimpering Chat Noir.
Pulling away, Cat Noir looks at her with such horror and, dare she say, disgust.
“Ladybug, why… why would you do that?” He asks, as he wipes his mouth clean. As if something nasty had touched his lips.
“You said…” She starts, but he cuts her off.
“I’m sorry, Ladybug, but I don’t like you that way. I’m just flirting, it’s just flirting. Nothing more!” He snaps as he turns and walks away.
“Please, My Love. Please!” Chat Noir reaches out for one more time.
She just smiles and slams her hand through his chest, ripping his heart out and smiling at it.
“You have no love, Chat Noir!” She sneers, as she crushes his heart to dust.
His eyes turn white and collapse to the ground, lifeless. Without a mark on him. The Akuma gives her the ability to pull a person's heart out, without leaving a mark.
“Goodbye, ‘My Love’.” She sneers as she turns to look towards where Monarch is standing in horror. At watching Ladybug kill Chat Noir.
“Wait, Cat, please!” She begs him as he walks away.
“I can’t believe you thought I actually loved you.” He lets out a loud laugh as he turns away once more.
“But, you said…” She tries once more. But, he just keeps laughing and walking.
Looking down at the rose he had given her, she didn’t notice the Akuma land on it. Until a voice appears in her mind.
“Heartbreaker, please. Don’t do this! I helped you, we made a deal!” Monarch screams, as she rips his heart out the same way she did Chat Noirs.
“The name’s Lady Blanc. In honour of Chat Blanc. I’m going to destroy the world, like he did. But this time. They’ll be no me to save it! Also, Like I care? I hate you!” Smiling, she crushes his heart to dust. And turns to the city. Her beloved city. Please, she hated Paris. Time to watch it burn!
Using the dust of the hearts she had crushed so far. She sprinkled them on the butterflies and sent them out to cause havoc on the city. With no one to save it.
“Ladybug, Cat Noir has broken your heart and made a mockery of you. Let me help you get revenge.” Monarch's voice says as she smiles.
“Deal!” She smiles, as she turns white and her hair grows out long and braided. She’s no longer Ladybug, she’s now Lady Blanc.
The city screaming and crying, as Lady Blanc sat on top of the Eiffel Tower and watches. She’s enjoying the chaos, the death, and the pain. Watching the horror of her friends and family as she ripped their hearts out and crushed them in front of them.
“Who are you?” A voice says from behind her.
Lady Blanc stands and turns to see a younger, more naïve version of herself as Ladybug.
“Oh look. Bunnyx has sent me to stop me from destroying the world. You’re a little late, Ladybug. And why not send the Kitty Kat? Give him the earrings and send him to save me. What, are we the only ones allowed to have trauma? Isn’t remembering chat Blanc enough trauma! Now, you have to remember Lady Blanc. Insane, and nutcase you! Ooo.. what goodie fun that’ll be.” Lady Blanc swings her hair in her hand, watching the horrified Ladybug try to come to terms with what she’s seeing.
“What happened to you?” she asks softly as she looks out at the burning city.
“Don’t you just hate it when Bunnyx sends you here with no info whatsoever. God, I’d kill her too, if I could.” Smiling, she saunters over to Ladybug.
“What happened…” She repeats. Lady Blanc sighs.
“A stray cat did. Telling me, he loves me, he loves me. But, the second I loved him. He laughed in my face and walked away. So, I killed him. And Monarch, and our parents, and our friends. How exciting!” Laughing, she pulls on a chain and out comes an older looking Ayla. Covered in blood and cuts, holding a camera.
“Ladybug…” She mutters as she tries to focus on her.
“Be a good girl Ayla. And film her killing me. Because, LB. The only way to fix all this. Is to kill me. That will undo everything. Breaking the Akuma won’t fix anything. Only killing me will.” Laughing she lunges at Ladybug, who breaks out of her trance at the last second. Barely dodging the hand going for her chest.
“I won’t kill you, I will save you!” Ladybug cries out, as she kicks her to the floor.
“Can’t… be… saved. I wanted to burn the city to the ground before I became akumatised. I snapped when dear Kitty broke my heart. Now, I take other's heart to fill in the void.” Laughing, she makes a grab for Ladybug again.
“Also, if you don’t kill me, I’ll kill you. Then your world will be without a Ladybug. Maybe I’ll go there next and kill you, Kitty too. And your Maman and you Papa. And Adrien… They’ll all die under me.” Laughing, she pushes Ladybug to the pillar and reaches for her heart.
Ladybug grabs her wrist and holds it there. Lady Blanc wasn’t really fighting her really hard. It’s as if she wants Ladybug to kill her.
“I could just kill Ayla here in front of you? Will that help?” She sneers as she puts her face close to Ladybugs.
“Ladybug, where are you. My Lady, save me… save me…” She whispers, a chuckle in her voice. Gasping, Lady Blanc looks down at her chest. Her own hand sticking in it.
Ladybug pulls out Lady Blanc's hand and looks at the heart in awe.
“I’m sorry… I’m sorry…” Ladybug can’t stop the tears from falling down her face, as she watches Lady Blanc's eyes go white. As her heart turns to dust in Ladybug's hands.
Ladybug stands there looking at the dust on her hands, as a flash of white fills her sense. And the city comes back to life, Ayla is gone, and the city is alive and bustling.
A thump brings Ladybug from her sense, looking up she sees Chat Noir, much older land in front of her. He looks down at her feet to see Lady Blanc had reverted to Ladybug, then Marinette.
His eyes sweel with tears, as they overflow. He falls to his knees and sobs, holding her body close to him.
“I’m sorry My Love, I’m so sorry. I do love you, I never should have. I was just so scared, so scared. I was afraid you were joking. Making fun of me. Or afraid you’d find out I’m not worthy of loving you. I’m so… so… sorry.” Sobbing his rocks back and forth holding her in his arms. Not even noticing young Ladybug standing there.
Learning down, he kisses her on the lips, sobs escaping even then. When a flash of pink light filled her sense once more. The light slowly fades away, and Marinette gasps, sitting up in Chat Noir arms.
“Kitty?” She asks, as she touches his face. Hers melting into tears as she hugs him tightly.
“My Lady?” He whispers. “MY LADY!” He screams as he continues sobbing, but a whole other reason.
“I love you too, Kitty.” She whispers, as their lips meet in a passionate and wet kiss.
Ladybug just stands there, confused, sad, happy, and a lot traumatised.
“Time to go, Lil Bug.” Bunnyx whispers as she pulls her into the burrow.
Ladybug keeps watching the two kiss, until the hole closes.
Not noticing her own tears, until they hit the floor. “No more Bunnyx. I can’t do it anymore. No more futures where our love destroys everything and kills everyone. I get it. Our love is toxic. To stay away. I get it.” She starts sobbing herself, as she falls to her knees, hugging herself.
“My Lady?” A voice, not Bunnyx whispers.
Looking up, she sees Cat Noir on their rooftop, not in the burrow.
“What do you mean, our love is toxic?” He asks, as he sits in front of her.
She pulls away from him and turns away. “… Nothing. Just more trauma to bear.”
Grabbing her, he pulls her into his lap and holds on to her tightly. As her tears, turns into sobs and she clings to him for dear life.
“Every time we fall in love, the city suffers. We suffer. Why can’t we just be happy? Be in love? It’s not fair!” She sobs into his chest.
“Listen to me Bugaboo. I love you. I love you more than anything else on Earth. I would do anything for you! Anything! Whether you love me too doesn’t matter. It will never change how I feel about you.” He whispers into her hair, as she sobs.
“…Really?” She whispers, as she looks up at him. Eyes full of tears and hope.
“Yes, really.” Learning down, he hesitates. Before placing his lips gently onto hers. “Always.” He whispers.
Reaching up, she grabs his face and pulls him closer. Kissing him back with as much passion and desire as she can muster at that moment.
Pulling her closer, he kisses her back, letting out a small moan.
“I love you too, My Kitty Kat. Always!” She smiles as she sits up and wraps her arms around his neck. Kissing him once more.
Together… forever…
