Work Text:
They had parked their car on a mountaintop, got on top of the hood, and were currently looking out at the sunset.
"It's so beautiful," Sam said as he leaned against Steve, who had his arm wrapped around Sam's shoulders.
"Not as beautiful as you," Steve replied.
"You're so cheesy." Sam looked up at his boyfriend and kissed his lips.
"Dance with me," Steve said, pulling apart.
"To what? We don't have our music." Sam looked at him, confused.
"Whatever is playing on the radio right now is good enough." Steve jumped off the hood and went around the car to turn up the volume.
Sam had never heard this song before, but it was a nice, slow tune.
"Come away with me in the night," the woman sang. "Come away with me. And I will write you a song..."
Steve took Sam's hand and helped him off the hood of the car, and wrapped his arms around Sam's waist. Meanwhile, Sam wrapped his arms around Steve's neck and looked up at him with all the love in the world as they swayed to the melancholy music on the mountaintop.
Soon the bass started to play in the interlude, and Sam rested his head against Steve's shoulder and swayed to it. Steve pulled him closer and nudged Sam's head with his nose, making Sam look up at him.
Steve leaned in and captured Sam's lips in a deep kiss. Sam tilted his head to the side to provide him better access and continued to move his lips against Steve's.
Steve soon backed them against the car and pressed Sam down on the hood before climbing on top of him. They continued to make out long after the song ended and the sun went down.
