Now you know how the fucking Tea bags feel

Summary:

For all the terrible tea drinkers out there, I hope you regret your cruelty towards the teabags.

Work Text:

I lay in my crowded box.

It was dark as per usual. The only time I ever saw light was when one of my friends would get snatched by a pair of hands never to be seen again.

I never understood what happened when they left our box, I was never told, but since it means my friends get taken away from me I've always assumed it to be bad.

That's why every time I see the light of the outside world I'm filled with what could only be described as dread; Begging it wasn't me next.

Unfortunately, when the box opened today, a pair of hands headed straight toward me. Lifting me and taking me from the comfort of my home. All I could hear were the screams of my friends getting less audible the further away I was from my box.

I screamed but the terrible creature took no notice.

Once the creature had stopped walking, I looked beneath me.

A white cup.

Before I could look anywhere else, I was thrown inside the cup.

Was this where all of my friends had been put?

If so, where are they?

why aren't they here?

My thoughts were rudely interrupted as a white, almost powdered substance attacked me.

I yelled at them and pleaded for them to stop yet got no response.

I sighed in relief when they hit the surface and I realised they had no further intentions of harming me.

Suddenly, a loud noise that could only be described as screeching penetrated my ears.

I would as the others if they heard it but then realised it was no use, they weren't responding to me anyway.

A few seconds later I saw the same creature from before approaching me again; I began to feel increasingly more anxious when I realised he was holding what seemed to be a larger version of what was now my new home although this one had a smaller opening.

I wanted to scream as the scorching water filled my new home.

I could feel my insides begin to seep out of me, causing me to begin losing consciousness.

I knew I was fucked the moment I noticed the creature pouring water.

As a tea bag, I know to avoid water at all costs.

In what I knew were my final moments, I couldn't help but feel bad for all of my friends who had been through this before me. I wouldn't wish this pain upon anyone, no matter how much they had wronged me.

My contents began to seep out, more and more until I was a bag of mushy nothing.

I was somehow still alive.

That was until a peculiar-shaped object whirled me around and squashed me into the walls.

I lost all consciousness then and there.

My corpse was thrown mercilessly into a bag next to all of my other dead friends.
