Sunshine

Summary:

A little domestic moment between Loba and Anita

Work Text:

Anita’s eyes fluttered as she began to wake up. Morning rays snuck through the curtains, illuminating the room in a warm orange blanket of light.

She stretched and let out a small groan before rolling over and smiling. A mess of curly brown and red hair surrounded her girlfriend’s shoulders and face.

She reached out and ran her fingers through the faded red ends. It needed to be dyed again, a project for another day. She sighed and wrapped her arm around Loba’s waist.

A small grumble escaped the sleepy woman but she draped her arm over Anita’s and entwined their fingers.

For a while they just laid there in silence, the birds outside the only indication that the world wasn’t frozen in time. Anita wished it was, not a worry in the world, just comfort.

“Nita…” Loba mumbled, beginning to stir.

“Morning beautiful.” Anita pulled her closer by her waist, their bodies fitting together perfectly.

Loba let out a content sigh.

“I’m surprised you’re not already up sergent.” Loba purred.

“Hmmm something compelled me to stay… or should I say someone.” Anita chuckled, wrapping her arms around Loba and burying her face into her neck.

Loba giggled and squealed as Anita assaulted her with kisses. Once Anita was satisfied she let go and Loba rolled over.

Anita would never get over just how gorgeous she was. The light shining off her hair, her beautiful golden brown eyes, the crinkle of her cute little nose when she smiled. All of it made her heart melt.

Loba looked up at her, grinning and laughed.

“What?” Anita mused.

“The morning light just makes you look stunning darling, my little ray of sunshine.” Loba sat up and stretched.

Anita smirked and watched the blanket fall away from Loba, exposing her beautiful curves. Anita wanted to kiss every inch of her tummy over and over.

“Sunshine? That’s a new one, most people would say I’m a moody stormcloud.” Anita smirked.

Loba rolled her eyes and threw a leg over Anita’s waist. Her hair cascaded over her arms and shoulders, bouncing slightly.

“Well most people are too scared to get past the storm.” Loba teased, leaning over Anita and kissing her forehead.

“And you ran head first into it.” Anita laughed, lost in those golden eyes.

“What can I say, I think dancing in the rain is romantic.” Loba smiled, cupping Anita’s face in her hand.

Anita smiled back up at her.

“Ready for breakfast?” Anita kissed her palm and sat up.

Loba giggled and draped her arms over Anita’s shoulders, pressing their foreheads together.

“What are we having?”

“Hmmm let’s go find out.” Anita put her hands under Loba’s thighs and picked her up as she stood. Loba laughed and wrapped her legs around her waist as she was carried to the kitchen.

It was going to be a good day, Anita thought to herself.
