Confrontation

Summary:

Fireheart realises that he has feelings for Graystripe when he sees him together with Silverstream. He confronts Graystripe and confesses his feelings for him. Graystripe realises he feels the same, but won't leave Silverstream, when Fireheart asks why Graystripe finally reveals that Silverstream is expecting his kits.

Notes:

Y'all this is not up to my standard I was just fucking around with Interkit- Some of it doesn't make sense because of this so fair warning for that. Some parts were altered or rewritten by me, but a lot of it is generated. Other than that, have fun I guess!-

Work Text:

"Graystripe, I need to talk to you for a second" Fireheart said.

"What is it Fireheart?"

"I.. I saw you with Silverstream last night, can we go somewhere private? I really need to tell you something!"

"Of course Fireheart!"

Graystripe and Fireheart decide to continue their conversation in the owl tree:

"So, what's up?" Graystripe asked.

"Well, I- I've realised I like you! I mean.. I love you! It's okay if you don't feel the same.."

"Fireheart.. I don't know. I love you too, but.."

"But you still have feelings for Silverstream?"

"Yes, I love her, but I-" Graystripe cuts off Fireheart.

"But what? If you can't stop loving her, why spend so much of time worrying about me?"

Fireheart raised his head and began crying:

"Because I love you too."

"Why do you say you love me but then immediately say you can't leave her, is it because you love her more? Am I... Not good enough for you? Is it because I used to be a kittypet?"

"It's not, I promise, but she's expecting my kits and I- I can't leave her. Not right now, not- I promise I'll be your mate once the kits are a few moons old, ok?"

"Ok.."
