The pink ribbon in Kat's hair belongs to Susan, of course; that's the nod to your fic! :) I was originally gonna go with braiding but could NOT find a good reference photo. Susan might have needed a bit of convincing to go rollerskating in shorts, but she gets really into it!
Drawn in chalk pastel and tweaked digitally! Image description in the end notes :)) I roughly traced their pose and clothes from this picture of friends skating -- I'm not super up on my eras but I think it's 40s or maybe 50s. shorturl.at/bglRY
