Hold back your tears… You are a warrior your fine. You’ve been through a similar situation before that you’ve never cried in.
This was coursing through Marble Cacaos brain as they had their leg, or what was left of it, taken care of and rapped up by a medic.
It all went by so fast, Too fast.
The king, their father, was suddenly a raging beast from the sky, from a spell gone wrong. In the blink of an eye he was tearing away soldiers left and right the kingdoms only hope was a group of kids.
Marble tried to do their duty and not back down, trying to take down the monster that was supposed to be their father.

The beast was roaring out and swinging it’s all mighty sword as the soldiers all screamed for mercy and some even crumbled a bit from this
None of them dared to even TRY and face the monster.
Except for one of them.
Marble Cacao, the kings own son, the prince of the kingdom, well, after a certain incident happened with another one…
They dared to try and fight the monster.
“Father this isn’t you. Snap out of it, I don’t want to fight you but, looks like I don’t have a choice.”
Marbles voice was low and dark with a serious tone, how they normally sounded when they where in a fight or battle.
They got into a fighting position, pulling their karambit’s out, they welded three of them, and pulling their other half of an arm in a ready position to use it in a similar manner to their missing hand.
Marbles left arm was halfway missing, only half of their bicep and their shoulder remained, the arm was cut from a battle incident from an enemy of the past. But they’ve learned to live and fight just fine without it.
They surged forward in an attack leap, Marble swung and twirled around with rage with areal attacks as they bounced off the walls and ceiling trying to land a blow and deal damage to help out Gingerbrave and his crew.
Every attack Marble landed was countered by the cursed kings mighty sword, but it also happened vice versa, for every attack the monster tried to land on them was also countered or dodged by Marble.
As the beast roared and screamed everyone else seamed scared, but not Marble Cacao, they’re face was still stern and serious, but deep down they where scared out of their mind as well as their brain screamed at them to flee in terror, but they swallowed down their fear, they’ve done this their whole life.
The battle went on well for a while.
But than something happened.
In the blink of an eye, the sword swung down and time seemed to vanish, one second Marbles heterochromia eyes where wide and filled with horror, the next.
A blood curdling scream rang throughout the palace.

Marble was breathing heavy as they remembered the event.
The medic cookie was done as Marble just stared at the now stump their right leg was, their eyes wide and the black slit pupils their eyes possessed now just simple dots, they now only had two out of four of their limbs now this did not look good.
By now Cacao had been calmed and freed and the cookies that caused this have fled unsuccessful in their mission, one of them leaving the group having enough of their bull left behind their cursed sword and left on their own journey, nobody knows where.
Dark Cacao slowly approached Marble, only to notice what he’s caused and gasp softly putting his hand over his mouth. “Did…Did I cause that?” He went to put his hand on their shoulder.
”GET AWAY FROM ME.” Marble said angry, raising their voice. They began scooting away from Cacao as their eyes began to gloss over with tears.
Marble was on their last straw, and it was a few seconds away from snapping, their lips where curled into a huge snarl with their eyes threatening to spill tears.
Their own father hurt them, the man that raised them and trained them, was also the one that just spread their strawberry jam and cut off their leg.
“Your highness! Are you okay?!” Carmel Arrow Cookie ran over, she had to know if the prince was okay too.
”I’m fine…Physically.” Marble spat with venom in their voice, they began to stand using the strength of their one arm to easily push themselves up. They then grabbed onto a nearby pillar to keep their balance.
“Marble, I- I’m sorry I couldn’t control myself. I didn’t mean to hurt you.” Cacao said feeling guilty about this.
Marble couldn’t hold back their tears anymore, they streamed down their face as they screwed their eyes shut. The next second they bolted, running as best as they could with one leg.
”MARBLE CACAO-“ “YOUR HIGHNESS-“
Marble ignored the cries of their father and the watcher cookie as they continued to try and scramble away until they where out in the snow.
Marble was thankful they where this athletic from training from being a warrior and could parkour their way through with their two and a half limbs, otherwise they’d be caught for sure.
Marble caught their breath as they fell to their knee sobbing softly. They just snapped, they couldn’t deal with this anymore. They knew it was the curses fault this happened but they where still hurt it was still their father.
After sitting there for a bit they wiped their face with their forearm, they then pulled out a locket they always wore, but hid in their clothes, and opened it, looking at what was inside, apon doing so they shut and hid it once more.
They knew exactly what they where gonna do.
They saw a nearby tree and ripped off a branch, it was a good condition for a temporary crutch.
Marble than began setting off, they didn’t know exactly where they where gonna go but they knew what the main goal of this was.
As they walked through the snow they saw a figure up ahead, the figure was dark with a hint of red. “…is that, a cookie?”
Marbles curiously made them follow the figure for a closer look, once they got closer they immediately recognized them. “Dark Choco?”
Dark Choco turned around and saw Marble Cacao. “Oh, it’s you. What do you want?” His tone was annoyed but not full of hate, like they’re trying to except Marbles existence for the sake of it but it still stung like hell.
“I saw you up ahead and I became curious,” Marble got closer so they where right next to Choco, so the two cookies where side by side. “…Do you mind if I follow a little?” Marble knew Chocos journey search and figured if he was okay with it they could tag along.
As soon as they where right next to him Choco noticed Marbles missing leg, but he decided to question it later, encase Marble didn’t wanna talk about it.
Choco sighed. “Uughhh I guess not...” This was only cause he felt bad for Marble, they must have been out here for a reason that wasn’t normal if they where missing a leg that was very recently looking at the bandages on their leg which where absent on their half of an arm and the fact he recalled Marble having two at the castle.
Marble had a soft smile as they began following where Choco roamed, only for it to fade. “…I know you don’t like me much but, I don’t blame you if the roles where switched I’d feel the same way,” they made a soft chuckle noise. “But, can we maybe get along a little bit? We are biologically half brothers after all.”
Choco looked over his shoulder back at Marble because he went ahead slightly. “…maybe…”
Marble looked around as the duo walked, they’ve never really explored the outside part of the kingdom too much, their father never let them.
“…say, why are you out here anyways? Doesn’t Dark Cacao keep you locked in there kinda?” “…Something happened and I just couldn’t take it anymore so I ran…”
“One incident made you run?” “More like was my breaking point out of everything that’s happened to me and stress.” Marbles voice sounded lighthearted but they where clearly upset.
”You know, I’ve never been out here much, it’s pretty…I’ve always dreamed of exploring actually.”
“I’ve kinda wanted too too, I’ve seen a lot due to being with those guys but, I’ve never really explored or sight-saw.”
Dark Choco thought about it, did destiny want him to follow THIS path? Exploring earthbread just seeing everything there was in the world? But alone? Or does it want him to take Marble with him? Maybe that’s why this happened to Marble…
”…I still don’t like you much but, what if we went and saw it together?” Choco looked over at Marble again, “I mean, I wouldn’t bring you but I have a feeling destiny wants you to come with me on this path, which is why your here, that and it’d be kinda lonely alone, I’m used to at least having Someone with me.”
Marbles eyes sparkled with excitement. “Really?” They normally weren’t that excitable but they never seen anything really cut them some slack.
”Yes really now come before I regret this.”
Marble chuckled softly as the two than set off on their new journey.
