Chapter Text

In this little town lived the Tomioka family, they were a loved family in this little community. Everyone knew who they were. They were the sweetest people you can meet.

The mother was a beautiful woman, a loving mother, and a great person. She was always helping around. And never once did she complain about her life, she loved her life and the people in it.

The father was a strong man, he was always finding ways to help his family survive in this world. To him it was his family against the world. Everyone knows he puts his family first.

Tsutako Tomioka, the loving sister. You would always see her with her brother, always helping her mother with the housework. She would be working to provide for the family. Everyone knew she loved her brother; she was always helping her brother or would be playing with him but what everyone knew was that she was always with her brother.

But one day tragedy struck the Tomioka family, it was just a normal day for them. Tsutako and Giyuu were out of the house, when suddenly they heard screaming coming from where they were, so they quickly ran over there to find their parents dead. Tsutako in distraught at the sight of her dead parent's body acting quickly for giyuu. For him not to see his dead parents' body's.

Giyuu was confused at the whole thing, but who wouldn't be. But the one thing he did not like was the sound of his sister crying, so he tried to comfort her. “Tsu why are you cry” a young giyuu asked his sister, but she kept on crying, so he hugged her, Tsutako just hugged him tightly. Everyone in that village at that time just felt sorry for these two kids who had just lost their parents.
Giyuu later learned that his parents had been killed, he thought they had to leave because they were doing something impotent. He had run to his sister the moment he found and just cried. Tsutako hated to see him cry, so for the whole day stopped whatever she was doing was with giyuu the whole time. The village would see these two kids just trying to survive in this cruel world. Just like their father said. “Them against the world”, and in that moment this two-sibling felt like it was them against the world, they only had each other
And they were going to do whatever it took to survive.

Chapter Text

(Tsutako boyfriend will not have a name because I am lazy to put him a name)

It has been a couple years since the tragedy of the Tomioka family, during those past year's life was hard on the two siblings but they made it. Tsutako was working every day to support her and her brother, but she always made time for him. It was the tiny things she did with him that bought her so much joy. Tsutako was working two jobs a day, while doing some little thing around the village just for some extra money to buy giyuu something nice.

Giyuu on the other hand was just a kid so he could not do much, but what he did do was smile every day, why well because every time he smiled at his sister and every time, he did her face would light up and he loved to see his sister happy. But other than that, Giyuu would spend time at his grandmother's house (not his actual grandmother but everyone calls her grandma), he would help her around the house, and he was learning how to cook for his sister.
But today was a special day. Today was the day Tsutako's boyfriend was going to propose to her and he was going to help. After waiting for a few hours, when he heard Tsutako's boyfriend calling for him, he ran outside. When Giyuu saw him, he quickly went and hugged him. To Giyuu, Tsutako's boyfriend was like a brother to him, they would always play together when he could not play with Tsutako. He would always buy giyuu a toy when he saw him, so giyuu was so excited for him to propose.
He wanted to have a family again…

It has been a couple hours since Tsutako boyfriend picked up giyuu and it has only been a few minutes since Tsutako left work, so Giyuu was getting ready to bring Tsutako to where Tsutako boyfriend will propose. While Giyuu was taking Tsutako to where she was going to get proposed to, a tragedy was happening to their loved one.

In only a few minutes, the life that Giyuu had known would be over, because when they go there they saw a demon eating Tsutako Boyfriend, Tsutako quickly ran over to him but for her the demon saw her and ran over to her first biting her but before that happened Tsutako told giyuu to ran and he did him ran for ages or until his feet gave up on him.
But before Giyuu could black out he heard someone voice telling him to stay awake, but he couldn't, all he wants was to rest, he wanted his old life back. The one that he was happy with his sister, the one where they were all happy. The one where he had his family back. He just wanted it back. Giyuu started to close his eyes more and more until he had finally blacked out.

Also, I might not be able to post that much because of school, but I will try to post once a week. But keep in mind that I don't know what I am doing here, so this whole book might be really bad, so I am really sorry for that.

Chapter Text

I didn't know where I was but one thing I knew was that I was running in a forest, snow everywhere, and not a single person I saw kept running but I tried stopping but my body told me not to, it was like I couldn't control my own body. I just ran like there was danger.

But suddenly I just stopped, I was turning around. I heard someone or something. What it was. It didn't look human,I went back to running the moment I saw that thing but all of sudden I heard people's voices.

I turned around and saw mother, father and Tsutako, they were saying "this was your fault", "you should have been the one to die", "why are you still alive". They wouldn't stop, but I kept on yelling for them to stop.

When I heard someone telling me to wake up, I suddenly woke up and started to look around when I saw a white haired boy, who looked around my age.

That when I started to cough, they boy said he was going to get me a cup of water, he came back and I took the cup of water and drink it so fast.that when I look at he and asked " W-who are you" that when he said shinazugawa sanemi. That's when I said "T-tomioka Giyuu. He gave a small nod.

That's when he started to say"I need to do Something, will you be ok without me? Also someone might come back while you're here. All I said was "ok" I just didn't know what to say.

After I left, I was left to my thoughts and hated that, they were so loud. I managed to fall asleep but I was woken up by someone 's voice. They sound old, so I stood up and went to check outside. I saw a man, the man heard me and turned my way, he had a small smile on his face.

He asked me " how was your day" but I said "ok", He noticed I was acting a bit weary of him. That when he said " I am just a hunter, no need to be weary". I quickly apologized for acting like that but he said it was fine.

For the rest of the day I was just getting some rest. Until I heard sanemi's voice, after a few minutes sanemi had opened the door. Sanemi then asks "have you eaten" to which I had said yes but he still asks me to get up because we are going out to eat. It has been a bit a few days since I've been outside, so it was good for me to get a bit of fresh air.

After a few minutes of being outside, sanemi had called me to come inside to eat. He had made curry, after he gave me some I took a spoon full of curry, it was delicious I Said. All he gave me was a nod and we were eating in a comfortable silence.

For the next few days I had gotten to know sanemi and he had gotten to know me. I had learned that he had a pretty big family but they had been killed by Demon but his brother had survived. I know there is more to the story but I know he is not comfortable sharing.

I had told him about my family to, I had cried a little but he was their to clam me down. I had also started to help him with the chores and I had gotten a job but sanemi told me not to but I still did.

Me and sanemi also started to work in becoming a demon slayer, we started with little things but I had heard a rumor about there being a demon slayer trainer, I had told sanemi so we both agreed to go the in hopes of getting more help, well me more then him.

After we both set of to start climbing the mountain, I had notes that three had been more traps the more we go up. But we had fainly gotten their. We both collapse on the door, with me land on sanemi. We stayed their until we heard someone voice.

Chapter Text

In these next few days, I will be busy with family, as well I am also taking a break from writing because I been tried from school. I am also trying to get figure out when to post my chapter and to takes breaks in-between. I also don't know if I can update this coming week because of school but I will try my best to write the chapter but as of right now I am not sure. It also takes me a few days to write a chapter because I am very forgetful and most of the time when have ideas it is in school, so please be patience with me, I will try to get a chapter out.

(If I don't put the pov- thing that means it is being narrated and it is not in any character pov-)

Uurokodaki was just walking around, when he happened to stop by two kids on the ground, when he saw them, quickly checked for a pulse and was thankful to find one in each. So he quickly picked them both up.

Running to his house, when I got there he told sabito a boy living there to get the futon ready, he was getting water and some towels to put on their heads. After he put both of the boys on the futons, he started putting the towel on their heads.

After he was done, he started getting the food ready for him and the kids living there.

A week or two later-

Sanemi had already woken up but Giyuu had not. Sanemi knew that Giyuu often when he is sick will take a few days to wake up but he still was worried about him.

But thankfully Giyuu had not long after him woken up.

Sanemi was just cleaning when he heard noises coming Giyuu room so he quickly went over their, opened the door and the moment he did he saw Giyuu, he ran to him and hugged him. Giyyu did not understand a single thing that was happening but he still hugged Sanami back because he felt like he needed it.

After a few moments they had stopped hugging but Sanami had not spoken a single word.

"YOU IDIOT" sanemi suddenly yelled out.

"WHY YOU HAVE TO SCARE ME LIKE THAT" he continued yelling.

"I WAS SO FUCKING SCARED IF YOU DIDN'T WAKE UP SOONER"

but Giyuu continued hugging because he knew the sanemi needed him at that moment.

Sanemi's voice suddenly got quiet, when suddenly he said.

"I am so sorry" he said quietly

"Why are you sorry, you didn't do anything" Giyuu softly said.

But sanemi continued "if I had been more careful, knowing that your body can't handle the cold like I can, you would have woken up sooner"

But Giyuu cupped his checks and said "don't blame yourself, it is not your fault"

"BUT IT IS MY FAULT" sanemi yelled out

"NOT IT IS NOT" Giyuu yelled out him

"We both should have been careful and I am the one who told you that we should keep going when you told us we should stop for me to take a break, so not it is not your fault"

"So don't blame yourself" Giyuu said

That's when sanemi hugged him quickly, saying"I fucking love you"

Giyuu chuckled saying "I love you to"

Giyuu and sanemi quickly fell asleep after that.

At the same time uurokodaki was coming back after a day out.

I am just writing this to tell you guys that the next chapter might take a little longer to come out because I am trying to catch up on school work but to make it up I made a one shot called maybe I am lucky about Sanegiyuu so please check that out and tell me your opinions.
