Chapter Text
"I can't make it to the concert Chay something came up, but I got someone to buy the ticket so your money isn't wasted" Chay heard through the speaker of his cell phone, the concert was at night, and Chay had planned to leave with his friend, all his plans now ruined after his friend stood him up.
Chay understood, he was trying to be understanding with his friend, but they had been planning to go to this concert together for so long, they had been so excited to finally be able to see and hear live the songs they liked so much.
And now he had to go with a stranger, someone Chay wasn't sure he'd be comfortable with. What if the stranger thought Chay was weird if he started crying during a song? what if the stranger just bought the ticket and wasn't a fan and he was one of those people who stood up all the way through the event? nothing would be the same, Chay thought and thought about how it is that everything he wanted to do went wrong.
But Chay understood that his friend's family was in a difficult situation, he would have done the same if it was Porsche in trouble, so he tried to see the positive side of the matter, he would go see his favorite artist, he would listen to his music live and he wouldn't care if the person who had his friend's ticket thought anything of him.
Except that things didn't happen the way Porschay wanted, like everything that happened lately in his life, this too was ruined by THE THEERAPANYAKUN, he must have known, something would go wrong and it would be all their fault, like everything lately.
Ever since Porsche got involved with them his whole world had been upside down. First with the matter of his house, then with the whole matter of his uncle and mother, his kidnapping, and finally with all the things that seemed to happen within that family. Without forgetting to mention how they were one of the richest families and that they were practically the most powerful criminal organization in Thailand, so practically his life was anything but normal since Porsche was Kinn's boyfriend.
When Porschay arrived at the concert and entered the venue, he immediately looked for his place, and everything was going well, everything was going strangely normal after his plans changed radically because of his friend, he had taken a few photos of the stage, and soon the opening act They would go out to make their presentation, Chay was too excited, he had started a conversation with the girl who was in the seat next to him, they were talking about the setlist, and what song they were looking forward to the most.
And that's when Chay saw him arrive, with his hair in his signature hairstyle, and a black satin button-down shirt that looked uncannily similar to the one his brother Vegas had worn before, he looked stupidly handsome, but that didn't matter because Chay he was about to collapse, he was so angry that all the things he wanted to do always had to involve a Theerapanyakun. And that worse than said Theerapanyakun was more or less than Macau, the arrogant, annoying, and stupid Macau.
Chay didn't even think that Macau liked this kind of music, he was just out of character, THE MACAU THEERAPANYAKUN, listening to a Kpop girl group? There were no chances. At least not in Chay's head.
This all had to be a joke, Macau had sat right next to Chay's seat, and Chay was not amused by this fact. Macau only bought the ticket to make Chay angry, or at least that's what the curly boy thought, when he approached Macau he only gave him a lopsided smile as if making fun of his misery.
When Porschay was close enough to the boy in the black shirt he started to claim "You knew my friend was the person who was selling the ticket, you have to know, is it so necessary to make my life miserable? What is so much fun to do? Hey, are you having fun? I don't even know why you're here, you have all the time in the world to bother me, at university, even at home, but it's vacation, and I want a break from your damn family."
Chay was excited, and he didn't realize when the taller boy started to laugh, HE WAS LAUGHING IN HIS FACE at him, after seeing how he so easily caused Chay to get out of the cavalry. the.
"Calm down little superstar, not everyone revolves around you, I didn't even know you'd be here," Macau said and of course he had to use that nickname, reminding him of the worst embarrassment he had ever put him through.
"I don't believe you, then why would you be here, look at Macau, I know your family has too much money but that's no excuse for you to spend it coming to bother me here, leave me alone even for a single day."
"Chay, although I really like to annoy you, you don't have enough relevance in my life to spend money just to annoy you, I bought the ticket because I really want to see the concert, I didn't even know you'd be here, my friend said he had an acquaintance who was selling his ticket, I guess that's your friend, so I really didn't know you'd be here. But I suppose it's a bonus annoying you out of the coincidence."
Chay's jaw dropped, he didn't believe any of the words the older man told him. See the concert? Chay didn't believe it.
"Just go Macau, leave me alone," Chay said still clinging to the idea that Macau couldn't want to see the concert.
"I paid for my ticket and I have the same right to be here as you, if my presence bothers you so much you can leave," Macau told the curly, of course, he would make Chay's life difficult in any situation, as always. Chay decided to ignore him, after all, Chay was still excited about the concert, he wouldn't let stupid Macau ruin this for him.
Chay turned to the girl he had been talking to earlier, and struck up a conversation with her again, they talked some more about the songs and who was her favorite in the band and stuff like that. Chay passed him his social networks and they became friends instantly, while Chay helped the girl take photos with the scenery in the background, out of the corner of her eye she could see Macau taking selfies with the scenery in the background, and somehow Chay couldn't believe it. Macau had really gone to see the show? Macau looked excited, he was taking photos and taking photos of everything, he even tried to talk to the people around him, Macau was behaving strangely, or more than usual. He didn't have to do all this to piss Chay off, so maybe and just maybe it was true and Macau didn't know that he would be sitting next to Chay at the concert and that he was really there to see the artist and not to annoy the heck out of Chay.
When the opening act came out to introduce themselves and began to play, what Chay least expected was to see an excited Macau shouting the songs and standing up and jumping with all the other fans.
Chay ignored Macau for the rest of the concert.
Although this was actually a lie, Chay had been amazed to see how Macau knew all the lyrics and seemed genuinely excited, almost as much as Chay was, so from time to time Chay would glance at Macau out of the corner of his eye. to meet the sight of the boy illuminated by the pink lights of the stage smiling broadly or singing at the top of his lungs. Chay also sang, danced and jumped to all the songs, he was so excited, he had waited too long to see this concert live. He was so happy, even though the guy standing next to him on normal occasions enjoyed teasing him, he hadn't, and it was a relief because Chay could watch the concert peacefully.
Almost in the last songs one of the members of the group approached where Macau and Chay were, and since they were in the front row this made them stay too close, and as expected Macau had to do something to stand out from the public, He made a heart with his fingers to the idol, and she just laughed quietly, Chay was so angry that Macau was unintentionally bothering him.
Chay also approached and stuck to the barrier, and smiled at the idol and gestured to give his cell phone, and to Chay's surprise, she took it and began to record a small video gesturing at the camera And recording also where Macau and Chay were, it was practically a selfie with one of his favorite artists. Chay could die at that moment, when he returned his cell phone, Chay almost fainted from emotion.
The last songs played, the members of the group said goodbye and the concert ended. Chay was still so excited about the little girl; to the interaction, it didn't even matter that his friend hadn't been able to come, although he knew that he would be jealous when he saw the video that the idol had recorded with her cell phone.
Chay waited until the area cleared up a bit, and then he headed for the exit. The bodyguards that Porsche had assigned to Chay told him that when he left he should let them know so they could pick him up, that they would be waiting for him in one of the parking lots near the venue where the concert had been.
Chay called them over and told them that he was done with the event, and then he headed to one of the elevators that led to the underground parking lot where the bodyguards would be waiting for him. On his way, he ran into Macau again, but at this point in the night not even his presence could make him angry, he was so happy.
"Vegas called, told me that our bodyguards had a setback and since your bodyguards are here I have to go with you,"
Chay just nodded, he didn't really care what the other boy had to say, he was looking at the photos and videos of the concert, he went to the elevator and Macau followed him, Chay was still immersed in seeing everything he had recorded until his phone turned off, it was the perfect time to run out of battery, but hey, he'd have time to watch the videos once he was in his room.
Suddenly the elevator stopped moving and the lights went out for a moment only to later turn on a spotlight that seemed to be an emergency light.
Chay and Macau were put on alert, thinking that this could be an attack against them as was the kidnapping of Chay.
Chay had been training with the bodyguards of the first family to be prepared for any situation. Macau in this situation was more than prepared because he had been trained for this type of situation since he was very young, Macau told Chay to be quiet and began to inspect the elevator entrance, as expected it was closed, after that he pushed off one of the railings and pushed what seemed to be an emergency exit, apparently there was no one outside the elevator and everything it had to be an accident or a system failure.
Macau said this to the minor and told him that they could try to climb through the emergency exit but since they did not know if someone had noticed the failure it would be dangerous if the elevator turned on and came back to move when they were trying to climb, so they both decided that the best option would be to wait for someone to open the elevator and get out as normal people would.
Chay wasn't happy about having to share a little space with Macau for who knows how long, but he also didn't want something to happen to them trying to get out of the elevator on his own.
Macau sat down on the floor of the elevator, and Chay copied his action and sat down across from him. Macau took out his cell phone and tried to call Vegas, or the bodyguards to call Chay's bodyguards, but there was no signal inside the elevator.
There was nothing to do but wait, there was an awkward silence and Macau decided to break it.
"Am I in the video?" Macau asked with a mocking smile.
"Yes, in a very unfortunate way if you appear in MY VIDEO"
"It's not yours if I appear in the video too" Macau replied
"Macau stop bothering, I think that I will take screenshots of the video and delete you with some editing app," Chay said
"Before you delete me, send me the video Chay, I want to have it too, it's something that doesn't always happen," Macau asked.
"Now you ask me for favors? I thought you liked to annoy me, a person who constantly annoys me doesn't deserve me to send him my video where I appear with an idol"
"I appear in it too Chay, I'll give you what you want, but send me the video, I really want to have it, I'll buy you merch when we get out of here!" She said quickly trying to convince the curly boy.
"Although your offer is very tempting, Kinn gave me an additional card to hers, so I really don't need you to buy me anything." Chay shook his head.
Macau did not know what to say for Chay to send him the video, but he also assumed that anything he said would not help to soften the minor, after all, Macau always spent time bothering him, so it was consistent that the minor did not want to pass him the video.
"Come on little superstar, pass me the video," Macau decided to resort to calling him by the nickname Chay hated so much. If being nice and trying to bribe him with things didn't relent, she would have to pester him until he agreed.
"NO MACAU I'M NOT SENDING IT TO YOU" Chay yelled at him and stood up in the small space of the elevator when suddenly he felt it start to move again. Saved by the bell, Chay thought, he really couldn't stand Macau in that elevator any longer.
When Chay got home, after what seemed like an incredibly long drive during which Macau complained and begged in every possible way to send him the video, Chay was having dinner with Kinn and Porsche. He was telling them about how he had enjoyed the concert and also about the plans he had with his friends for the summer holidays when Kinn and Porsche looked at each other suspiciously, with certain complicity as if they knew something that Chay did not, something that it was probably true.
"About the summer vacations, we wanted to tell you that we will go to the beach, the whole family,"
"The family?" Chay said confused since when Porsche used expressions like "the whole family"
"Surprise!" Kinn tried to lighten the mood
"Yes, Kinn, Khun, Kim, Vegas, Pete, Macau, Little Venice, and You"
"Arm and Pol and Time and Tae will also go," Kinn added.
Chay was confused since when did Porsche consider Vegas and Kim his family? To Macau too, he understood that he included Khun and Pete because they were some of his closest friends, and Kinn had long been like another big brother to Chay because he and Porsche seemed like a married couple without being married. But the rest? because they had to include them in a "family" vacation.
It was enough that he had to include Kinn in his family, and don't take it the wrong way, Kinn tried, tried to treat Chay well, and tried to be there and talk when he could but his whole family was so different from what he was. accustomed that it still felt abnormal.
Khun was all about extravagance, and Kim was a person not even worth mentioning. All of his family members were so weird, Macau was so annoying and his brother Vegas was a little scary to Chay.
He couldn't believe that he was going to have to spend his entire summer in who knows what safehouse with the Theerapanyakun.
