Raya was fast asleep. Emily, who was carrying her, however, was wide awake.
"My lord, are you sure you should bring Raya to witness your… great triumph over your worst enemy? It might be…"
She paused for a while to ponder over her words. Should she say unwise? Her husband, the Dark Lord, Lord Voldemort, might react badly to that. Dangerous? He would just scoff at that. Hmm…
" … risky," she finished.
"Don’t worry, I will take utmost care of our daughter. In case anything happens…just come with us, then. If anything happens to one of us, the other can escape with Raya."
Emily hesitated. The plan seemed alright, yet still risky. Then again, disagreeing with the Dark Lord was probably worse.
"Alright…"

"Avada Kedavra!" As soon as Emily heard those words, she ran to pick up Raya, thinking of congratulating Voldemort. Just as well she didn’t. As soon as she had picked up Raya, there was an explosion. Thankfully, she apparated in the nick of time…
