Chapter Text
3rd person P.O.V
Jayce is arriving to work late like he always does, no one in the building has ever seen him come in on time. But then again when you're the boss is there really a late? When everyone comes in at the same time I guess there is, but he doesn't care no one can stop him. As he enters the building being greeted by his assistant, "Hello Mr. Black, here's your coffee sir." he said handing the tall man the cup of already cooled off coffee.
"Thank you, Vince, but since it's cold now go ahead and ice it." He said wondering why the one sitting down wasn't aware of this, since he did this every time he was late, but he didn't pay attention to that right now, because for what he was about to face it was not worth dwelling on the matter. Jayce waited for the man behind the counter to fix his coffee, and looking at the papers that were meant for him laying on the counter. He took the papers in his hand, while holding the other out waiting to be handed the cup of coffee.
After accepting the cup of coffee he walks to his office, opening the door he sees Void sitting on his chair with his legs on Jayce's desk. "hey Jayce." Void said with a big smirk. "Void what are you doing here?" Jayce said while rolling his eyes, "I'm at work you can't be here, you know that I've told you this before." He pushed Void's legs off the desk, " I've told you this plenty of times, and I've also told you plenty of times that if you do to not disturb my work in the process."
"Aw, c'mon Jay don't be so tense." Void said while standing up, he placed his hands on the desk leaning over so you couldn't tell he was taller. Looking through the hair that was in front of his eyes, staring at Jayce "I just wanted to say hi to my friend. Is that such a big deal?" Jayce scoffed, "A friend in your dreams." Jayce said sternly "I WILL NOT be you friend MR.black" he said with such venom that spit flew out of his mouth. "C'mon man!" He yelled "You have to understand, it was all a big misunderstanding!"
"No.... no." Jayce whispered instead of yelling, "You don't get to call that a misunderstanding let alone try to justify yourself by it... Friends don't do that to other friends. You can't justify what you did. You had no right to-!" He started yelling, but quickly shut up as soon as he glanced out his window getting stares from his employees, The whole goddamn building probably heard that one.
AND THAT IS WHERE WE END FOR TODAY MY FRIENDS
(Also yes this took waaay too long for this to be a short chapter but it is what it is.)
