After sitting in the graveyard for a few minutes, Dustin, Lucas, Max, and Steve gets up and walks to the car.Lucas and Max don't let go of each other as they drive back to the Wheelers house.As Steve parks in the drive way, Robin and Nancy come out of the house to greet them."Hey guys, Max, are you okay?"Nancy asks, concerned about Max."Physically, yeah."Max responds."Do you need anything?Water, a snack, or something." "Water would be good, thank you."Max says.
The group makes there way into the house."Oh hello, Nancy, I didn't know you were bringing more guest."Karen says as she walks up to the group."Yeah, sorry.We have just been really busy.Actually, do you think that they could stay here?"Nancy asks."Yeah sure, they just have to call their parents to let them know." "Okay, thanks.I going to bring you guys water."Nancy says as she walks into the kitchen.The rest of the group walks into the basement and calls their parents to let them know they are staying at the Wheelers.
Max and Lucas are stilling hugging each other on the couch."Um, I think you could let go now."Max says.It's not like she wants him to let go, no, she wants to stay in his arms, forever, especially of what just happened.She just was unsure if Lucas was uncomfortable or not."Oh, yeah, sorry."Lucas apologizes as he lets go of Max."Are you okay?"He asks."Yeah, just glad I'm out of that shithole."Max says.Nancy then comes down with Max's water."Thanks"Max says as Nancy hands her the water."Your welcome."Nancy says.
"So, do you want to talk about what just happened or?"Dustin asks.Steve elbows him and says "Dude"."No Steve, it's okay."Max says."When he first got me, he showed me Billy.He tried to play with my mind with words like 'Maybe, deep down, I wanted Billy to die, that's why I just stood there'"Max explains.Lucas was hesitant but he grabs Max's hand and squeezes it softly.Max didn't mind though, in fact, she squeezes back."I tried to run away from him.Then, all of a sudden, I see this red fog, and I went in it.When I walked into the red fog, there was like, black, slimy, vines everywhere.There was also red lightning shooting out red clouds.There was rocks floating in the air.As I walk more closer, there was like, a broken house in the middle."Max explains.
"A clock was ticking, chiming.Suddenly, I hear, 'What are you doing here, Max?Come back to me'.When I turn around, I see Chrissy's body hanging in a tree.Nancy's friend, Fred, was handing in a tree also."Max says.At the mention of Fred's name, Nancy looks up."What did they look like?"Nancy asks."They were like how the police found them.All legs and arms broken, jaw broken, eyes closed with blood around them."Nancy covers her mouth in horror and a tear runs down her face.
"Then Vecna says, 'How do you like them, Max?Would you like to join them?'.I try to run away but a vine wraps around my foot, dragging me onto a tree.Vines cover my arms and legs so I can't escape and a vine wraps around my neck, choking me.All of a sudden, music plays, opening a portal.Thanks that by the way, I'm not sure how I would have escaped."Max says as she thanks them."Your welcome.Actually, if it wasn't for Steve who went to tell you it's time to go, we would have might have been too late."Lucas says."Vecna tries to mess with my head, tries to make me believe that I belong there, with him.He starts raising his claw like hand, and I guess that is when I started floating."Max says as the other nod their heads.
"I start to remember all the memories I made with you all.Suddenly, my hand was release and I pull out one of Vecna's vines on him, distracting him.When I fall to the ground, I start running.I don't look back, I just keep running.He tried to stop me with hitting me with rocks but I kept avoiding them.When I reach the portal, I run into it and that's when I woke up."Max finishes.
"Wow"was all they could say."Okay so I am glad that Max made it out of there but we still don't know if and when he is going to target Max again."Robin says."Robins right, for now, we will rest and tomorrow, we will try to come up with a plan to stop him."Nancy says.Everyone gets into a spot they can sleep in."Hey, I want you guys to keep a eye on Max, if Vecna gets her again, be ready with music."Nancy says to group, they all nod their heads.
