His uneven hair flows along with the cool spring breeze as he walks toward his soon to be husband. He’d never ONCE in his life imagined that his dream would come true but, yet it's all he could have ever wanted. Akutagawa is everything to him. He loved how strong he was, how stubborn he could be, and how Akutagawa secretly cares about people.
And now today was the day that they’d be together until death do them part .
He loved the breeze that wasn't hot nor cold. He loved how the music fit the ceremony. He loved the pretty white dress that was specifically chosen for him.
He felt the feelings he felt when he and Akutagawa first started being anything.
As he inches closer to his lover, more anxious he felt.
He would of course be anxious, he was finally getting married to the “perfect man” but, it wasn't that.
No. It was something beyond what they would think of. It ruined him to even think about it. A feeling of dread crept onto him as he walked even closer to his fiancé would be.
As he faces where his lover should be standing, he was instead met with a headless figure that just stood as it normally should. Although he was distraught, that didn't stop him from going up to the altar and continuing with the ceremony. It was as if he was being controlled.
After for what seemed to be an eternity, it was finally time to kiss the bride. Atsushi couldn't stop the river of tears that were streaming down his face as the pastor held his lover's head.
Due to tradition, he was to kiss his groom, and he did. He felt awful. It wasn't genuine..or so it felt like it wasn't. Akutagawa felt so far yet so close. It just didn’t feel right. The soft, piano matrimonial music that was playing soon became eerie to his ears as he couldn't stop looking at his lover's decapitated head. More tears began to stream down his dusted cheek. The white gardenias that surrounded him soon turned red and Atsushi's vision faded into a blurry darkness as he was slowly brought into reality.
