Work Text:

It was an early morning in the City of Towa City, the town was swarmed by dozens of Monokuma’s and kids as they laughed and played, roaming outside of the hotel where the two heroines were staying.

The two girls were up and running before they’d get their instructions and missions for the day, it was only a few months after Komaru and Toko had saved the city from the rampaging bing bang Monokuma that the Towa company had built for a dangerous situation.

Speaking of the two, the purple-haired writer would pull down her purple, slightly ripped shirt as she wedged the shirt to make it comfortable.

The short-haired girl was directly near the other as she was also putting on her uniform as she grabbed her belt and wrapped it around her waist. She was just getting done when she spotted her partner's scarf on the ground, she snickered mischievously as she put it in her hand.

Toko would be finishing up adjusting herself as she puts her glasses back on her face, and she would brush the dust off her clothes. She would turn to get that same red scarf to tie around her shoulders, but she realized it was missing as she grew irritated, “Hey! Where's that damn scarf at??” She said in an irritated manner as she looked around for the last article of clothing she had to put on.

Komaru slightly leaned backward as she lifted her head, attempting to act innocent as she sported a smile as if she couldn’t help herself. She snickered once again.

“Huh?” The author heard her giggles as she intensely turned back with a confused look on her face, “H-Hey!” She yelled out as she started to suspect the taller girl. “Give me my scarf back!” She demanded, “Hmmm?” Komaru playfully mumbled.

“I know you have it, give it back, Maru!” She demanded once again, clenching her teeth as she continued to grow more frustrated. “Huh? I don’t have it!” She said in a playful tone as she slightly moved her arm.

“I saw that,” The writer glared at the normal girl as the other stared right back at her, “No you didn’t!” She said with a cheeky grin. “Maru, give it to me, now.” The writer spoke in a direct tone as she continued to give her a death glance, “Nah..” Komaru said as she finally revealed what she had in her hand, “You gotta get it yourself! Hehe!” She said as she jiggled her hand in a taunting message.

“You little-“ Toko yapped as she lunged forward, Komaru would take a step back as she narrowly dodged the shorter girl, “Nuh-uh!” She stated as she lifted her arm upward.

“G-Give that back!” The purple-haired writer yelled out as she went to grab at the other’s side to keep her balanced as Komaru propped herself up to try not to fall, she giggled as the other tried and struggled to grab her red scarf back, the green-haired girl would keep moving her arm around to swiftly dodge the ruffled girl’s grip. “Damn it!” She yelled out.

“Hahaha!” Komaru laughed out loud as she stuck her tongue out with yet another giggle. “If you don’t give me it back-!” Toko started to say as she missed once again, the other would proceed to move her arm out of the shorter one’s way.

“Ugh!” The writer started to pout as she groaned with frustration, “You’re a jerk.” she said. “Nah, I’m just having fun!” Komaru replied. “Hmph!” Toko lept up once again in an attempt to get her scarf out of the green-haired girl's grasp, drastically missing as the other yanked her arm further up.

“I swear, I-I’ll make you give that back!” Toko insisted, “Yeah huh? What are you gonna do about it?” Komaru replied in a mocking tone, “Well, there’s o-only one way out of this..” The writer lowly growled as her grip on Komaru’s side loosened.

“Huh?,” The taller girl grew confused about what Toko was referring “the only way” to, she tilted her head, her arm slightly lowering. “What’s the—-“ Her words were interrupted as her eyes widened, she felt a tug as her back moved upwards as she started to lean downward.

The writer would quickly pull the normal girl's scarf in a brisk kiss, the normal girl let out a squeak as her grip on the scarf finally loosened up, giving Toko a chance as she lets go of Komaru’s scarf and aggressively grabs her own right back into her possession.

“Aha! Got it.” Toko playfully said as she finally had it in her hand, Komaru stared down wide-eyed as her cheeks fuzzed with a pink blush. “Thanks for it back, it’s appreciated!” Toko said with a genuine smile.

The normal girl stood still, as she slowly took in what had happened, “Y..you win.. I think- Ohh… y-yeah…” she said without thinking while looking at the ground in surprise.

Toko pulled apart the strands of her scarf as she pulled it over her head, she would adjust and put it underneath the white color of her uniform, pulling the tie down as it tightened around her shoulders as she slightly glared in focus. “And that’s what happens when you don’t listen..”

“Yeah, yeah..” Komaru drifted off while the writer walked away with a slight sass, “It wasn't.. that bad, though..” The normal girl said as she brushed at her lips with her fingers, continuing staring in awe.
