Chapter Text
This is a love story.
You know how these stories are.
Girl meets boy or girl or them, Boy meets girl or boy or them and they fall in love.
Usually, they become boyfriend and girlfriend or boyfriend and boyfriend or girlfriend and girlfriend and it goes on and on.
Later they move in together, to see how it feels like to live together with their loved ones.
After a few years they get married on a breezy evening and they drive through the sunset with a sign ”Just Married” in the back of their car.
And afterwards comes children, and with them a pack of responsibilities.
But you know the quiet well, don’t you? After all, how many alternatives are there?
There is divorce, there is death and there is the “never met”.
Now, somewhere along those lines that I have written there is a catch somewhere.
If you really sat down and read what I have written you must have noticed something is off, like a missing piece of an unresolved puzzle that you can’t find anywhere, not under the couch nor the coffee table.
That missing piece is simple questions such as “Who?” and “Where?” and “When?” and “How?”.
Because a love story is like a formula, it never changes its use, but what changes are variables.
Shall we get to know those variables then?
They meet at a bachelorette party.
Actually they met at her sister's bachelorette party,a week before Melpomene’s wedding.
The party was held in her sister’s and future brother-in-law's new house, which they bought two months ago after they got engaged to each other. It had two floors, two bathrooms and a small backyard which could fit a swing and a slide. In a few words, a perfect house for a growing family.
Well right now this said house didn't look at all like a family home rather than the slutiest stripclub you’ve ever seen. You see Thalia herself, one of her younger sisters, was in charge of the decorations and thought it would be funny to give a heart attack to their older sister, Polyhymnia, who is deeply religious.
Anyway, the party was on fire. Drinks being made continuously, glasses being filled and emptied again and again, music getting louder and louder as the night went on,celebrating her sister’s last night of freedom.
Suddenly, the music stopped and out of nowhere came Clio with a microphone in her hand
“Hello everybody, she said, I hope you all are having a good time celebrating my sister and her fleeting freedom.”
All the guests cheered.
“As you know bachelorette parties need three things to be an unforgettable event.
The first one is drinks, she demonstrates by showing the cup she is holding, the second is dancing, she says while moving her hips, and the third one , well you know that one. ”
Seductive music starts playing and as the people cheer loudly Calliope can’t help herself but giggle at her older sister's antics.
But when the stripper enters the room she can’t focus on anything but him.
Calliope has never seen a man with such beauty as his.
The way his jaw locks, the way his body moves, his tensed muscles and pale skin which glows as he moves and most importantly his eyes. Those crystal clear blue eyes that remind her of the sky, those eyes which finds her across a room full of people. Those eyes that won’t stop looking at her until the end of the show.
She feels like she is suffocating, like she can’t breathe properly. She needs clear air.
That’s how she finds herself in the backyard.
But instead of the fresh air she was in need of she finds herself breathing smoke from cigarettes.
“You want one?”he asks in a husky voice.
“Thanks.” she says as she takes one.
He lights it up for her, and she can see his features more clearly now.
“You were really good in there, such a performer” she tells him as she blows smoke out of her mouth.
“Well thank you my kind lady, but I must say that I was completely clueless about what I was doing.”
“What are you talking about?”she asks, confused with his confession.
“I’m not actually a stripper, you know.”
“Then tell me my lord, she teases him the same way he did moments ago, how did you end up here?”
“Well,I lost a bet to my roommate who, that is the funny part, is a stripper.”
She is laughing so hard that her cheeks are in pain but she can’t stop, thinking how funny this situation is. He starts laughing with her too, but after their laughter dies they keep staring at each other .
(Well isn’t that romantic?)
“I’m Calliope by the way .”
“Calliope, he repeats tasting on his lips, such a beautiful name for a beautiful lady like you .” he says flirtatiously.
“Oh my lord you’re flattering me, she says while batting her eyes, but what about you mister lost-a-bet-and-became-a-stripper ?” she asks.
“My name is Morpheus.”
“Well, nice to meet you, Morpheus.”
“The pleasure is all mine m’lady.”
That’s how they start talking, in the steps of her sister’s proach in the backyard, sharing cigarettes and little things about themselves.
She tells him she is studying English literature at the University of London.
He tells her of his studies at London's film academy .
She wants to be a poet.
He wants to be a director.
She tells him that she is living with her younger sisters at her aunt's house.
He tells her about his roommate who he truly adores even though he is a pain in the ass sometimes.
She tells him that sometimes she feels like she is all alone and that no one is listening to her.
He understands.
They make out passionately at four am outside of her sister’s house, while everyone is inside celebrating her sister.
She gives him a blowjob at half past four, not giving a fuck about what happens inside.
He cums all the way down her throat at quarter past five,in an alley down the street.
He begs to let him get her off, but she doesn't let him. Instead she says sweetly to him;
“You own this one and maybe next time you can pay your debt.”
He gives her his number and whispers in her ear;
“You can call me whenever you want, '' he adds, '' I'm at your service m’lady.”
