Chapter Text

Hana hadn't always been Hana. Once upon a time she had been Anasophia : a Scottish witch who had lived for years only to die and live her next adventure as Hana.

Hana was born in a small village in the land of Fire. They had frequent visitors in Ninjas and merchants. Hana was one of the many street rats of Tsu. Tsu was a small village and had not enough founding for an orphanage or it was good business to let the Yakuza pick up the boys and Okiya the girls. Hana, at the time, hadn't been swift enough to escape the claws of the Okiya. She was a servant there and Mama had plans for all her fellow girls to be Maikos at sixteen and then Geishas at twenty-two.

Tsu was a complex village on one end it was comprised of brutal and harsh people and on another end they had their honor and rules. Prostitution and thievery was outlawed. Geisha was a respectable job. They entertained customers with art not flesh. Yakuza members were fully taken cared of as well as any of their family members. They took care of security for the Okiya and the maikos entertained in their casinos. It was a thriving deal.

Hana had learned much. She was currently learning how to harness the magic churning in her core. She could actually access it quite well after a while it was easier than when she was a muggle born witch. It flowed easily and she put it on this being her second life. She didn't know ninjas existed here yet. She hadn't met one face to face yet.

When she focused on the tempest inside her she could unroll it like yarn and bring it up to the surface. It appeared blue on her palm and thick but translucent. It looked like slime but felt like a pillow. With her other hand she did the same and felt it sludge a bit on the first. She brought the two together and watch it mesh. She brought them apart and the fluffy slime stretched like slim would do. Only when both her hands were in front of her shoulders did the slime snap in the middle and sluggishly retracted to the first layer she had on both her palms.

Hana looked at her palms. Was that what magic was supposed to look like? She put a palm against the wooden floor, her hand went right through. A perfect outline of her own hand stared back at her. She hid the hole beneath the carpet in her room. That had would have spooked her if she hadn't been a witch before.

-

Hana had been wandering in the outskirts of the village before she encountered her first ninja or three.

She had just finished running an errand when she suddenly stopped in her tracks. Their was a body laying not far from her. Bodies were not new to her. Here it was almost a daily thing and back then she had been an accomplished healer. The thing that made her stop and consider the body was the metal plate attache to a piece of cloth strewn on the side of the body but at the feet. On the plate was a symbole she was particularly familiar with. It was a stylised leaf with a spiral in the middle. Konoha. Hana gambled. She approached the body and analyse it. She wiped two fingers and felt for a pulse. It was slow but steady. They had been poisoned. She wished she could have her wand with her to do a full body scan. She had to do with her fluffy slime. She had been testing it out this year and she could use it for other things than burning stuff although it was neat to warm up when in winter.

She rose her magic to her palm and put it above thier brow and closed her eyes. As soon as she did she snapped her eyes back open and looked awed. She could see their brain. Their neurons. Their frontal cortex. She did the same thing this time above their hand and breathed an awed gasp again but this time continued to move her hand to their shoulder and their torso, neck back down to their waist, first leg, second leg. When she had thoroughly scanned him she deduced he had had inhaled the substance as there had been no sore spot nor point of entry. She nibbled her lip. She didn't have her kit with her. She didn't have her much knowledge in old fashioned antidotes too. She looked at the forest. It would have to be sufficient. She was a healer. She could do it. She went in and tried to find any sort of familiar plant. Aha! There. She was careful not to touch the poisonous leaves. She severed the flower from its body and went back to searching for anything else that could work and came back in front of the slumped man. She laid down her findings and started to mash the plants and flowers together. She planned to apply the rough paste beneath his nose to breath in. It would hopefully neutralise the agent and give him back motion to go back home. She on the other hand would go back to scream in frustration.

She was still for now in healer mode but a part of her brain realized the situation she was in. She was in the narutoverse and had been playing with Chakra not Magic.

It changed everything.

Chapter 2: Attempt 1 of a part 2

Attempt to continue it... ended wrong. As in I really don't like it. So please use the first chapter.

Chapter Text

Hana looked at her runes on the floor. It had worked to hide the hole. And it had been runes. Not seals. Actually, thinking about it sealing and runic matrix weren't that different.

They each needed an anchor. Paper. Wood. A conductor. Chakra. Magick. Instructions. The Japanese language. Runes.

She wondered if that was it. Then she could create her own language as long as they are instructions. Perhaps there was one last Ingredient. Logic.

It had to be logic for the one creating said language.

Else Runes would all work.

While Hana developed her new sealing technic or braille, she tried to keep herself out of trouble.

She hadn't seen the konoha ninja yet. He would come.

She hoped he wouldn't.... but she lived in dictatorship.

She was on her day job at the casino when a ninja came.

He had a strike through headband depicting wiggly lines.

She could guess it was a water missing ninja.

But he also had a wicked blade and knife sharp smile.

Hana was pulled in front of him. She bowed and began to show him around.

The ninja listened lazily to her.

And she went on and on about this game and that room.

How he could only benefit. Bla bla bla.

Nothing much happened and Hana flopped received on her bed that night.

It lulled her in a semblance of safety. Until one day a gray haired man stepped out if the woods she was gathering herbs in.

She froze at the sight.

There was another two men.

And one was her ninja.

The white haired man bowed deep and gave a scroll to her.

She didn't touch the scroll. But used a stick to open it.

The masked man coughed.

The scroll was an official invitation to Konoha.

Hana bowed back and pocketed the scroll.

The masked man advanced then and Hana scrammed.

The mask man shouted.

Hana flopped onto her bed.

Another week passed.

Another week of no ninja.

Until there was one.

It was the white haired man.

He was in the woods playing with a puppy.

A puppy that looked very close to a wolf pup.

Hana resisted to glomp it. Her hand itched to card its fingers into soft fur.

But she glanced at the man and left.

The next day it was the masked man.

She ran at first sight.

There was a snort in the air.

Chapter 3: Attempt 2 of a part 2

Notes:

I kind of like this one better.

Chapter Text

Hana bit her lip, she had done it. The first person to leave Tsu. Or we'll, if it had happened already it was not advertised.

Tsu wasn't somewhere to leave from. The tourists sojourner. But that was all. They weren't born and bred in Tsu. They weren't Tsu chans and tsu kuns. Names given to the orphans before they were given real meaningful names.

Hana's given name was Miko. But she had already a name. And Miko wasn't it. Never would be.

Hana had left. A backpack filled with cash she had found here and there.

Hana had left. She was free.

Hana was free.

The ninja wouldn't find her again.

He had come back. And the minute Hana saw him she had turned tail and hid. Mama had chuckled something about a crush. But she wasn't crushing on the ninja. No. She was hiding.

Then came the plan. We'll she always planned to leave but the ninja situation had speeden up the process.

She moved north. The furthest from Tsu and Konoha.

Hana slept in trees and walked determined to put as much distance.

She kept her bag of cash for emergencies. She healed a caravan of merchants along the way and continued the journey with them. Until she learnt they were going to a hidden village.

Hana couldn't go there. They would. She didn't know what. She didn't want to know what.

Hana secluded herself to the east. She slid her slime , Chakra to her feet and stepped onto the water. Frail she was like a fawn learning to walk. She walked for a long time on the water and finally reached an island in the shape of a croissant moon.

She took her time exploring the island. There was fruit but no animals. Or only birds. She crunched down on herself a curious fruit and spat it out. It tasted gross.

She looked at the spiraled fruit in disgust.

And spied the horizon. She wondered what was out there. Had they thought to explore?

No..

They were more interested in getting land and war and controlling information.

Hana laughed, just like one pice she thought. Her gaze fell on the fruit.

Then it clicked.

Oh...

Fuck...

.

Hana got a job on a merchant ship as a healer and cook.

She would deal with the basic health of the men and women on board.

And get a pay plus learn to sail.

She could go and explore even more ...

She wasn't only in Naruto. She was in One piece as well.

It was a secret to life changing to reveal. She wasn't saying anything.

She would need a special boat. A motor boat.

Or something.

.

Hana trained her Chakra.

Was it Haki?

Was that it?

What wad the power she had ate?

She traced runes in wooden plates.

She ran laps and did some yoga and meditation.

Little by little she gained muscle mass.

She learn about sailing.

.

The boat stopped and a a three man team came on.

They were konoha.

Her ninja was with them.

What was the chance?

.

She went down, under the deck as silently as possible.

Perhaps she had been too silent.

The ninja appeared in front of her and she froze.

And she felt a chill down her spine when he said.

"Ive been searching for you everywhere"

She deadpanned,"maybe I didn't want to be found"

"Come to knoha"

"No"

The ninja frowned. " but you have potential"

"AND? I don't care. I don't want to go to konha. "

The ninja advanced

"No means no."

"We cant give you to another hidden village"

"Fuck you"

The ninja stuttered.

"I save you, and thats how you thank me? I dont want to go to any hidden village. Leave me alone"

He frowned. " I want to thank you and konoha can keep you safe."

"Shoo"
