Kardasi’Uq’Torrya / Kardassi’Uq’Lakariya Dictionary of Colors

This series is an introduction to Kardas'iUq'Torrya, also referred to as "service-class Kardasi", and to the closely-related dialect Kardass'iUq'Lakariya.     'Allo!
    There are several possible variants of 'my dear'!
    I would translate his canonical "my dear" as "nU ess'ik" ('my loved one', 'my dear') or the more casual version "ess'ik". In fanfic, he could use nU e’zAr’ik (' my beloved', 'my dear') or the more casual version "e'zAr'ik"- both are more intense versions that would be used only with someone like a husband, wife, spouse, fiance(e).

  I've got a few - but I suspect you don't want the translation of 'sweetheart'; jiv'burUt jem translates literally, as 'heart [that’s] sweet-to-the-taste' – most likely not what you’re looking for!
  I'll have them posted soon, but need to double-check spelling and translations first. In the meantime, here are two variants of two of them:
  itzik’ess’ : beloved star
  nU itzi’ik’ess’ : my beloved star (which can be shortened to itzi'ik'ess' , in which the 'my' is implied (a less formal version)
  nU ess’ik : my loved one; my dear
  ess'ik : also 'my loved one' or 'my dear', but the 'my' is implied (this is a less formal version)

  I think Kardasi actually doesn’t have a conditional verb, so ‘may’, ‘might’, ‘would’, etc. wouldn’t translate exactly.
  One could say something like “nU j’latI cek qa olliv” (‘I want/wish/desire that you continue-to-live’); by leaving out the subject pronoun, “j’latI cek qa olliv” would add some ambiguity-of-subject, and would probably be the closest I can come up with.
  So, without the subject pronoun:
  j’latI cek qa olliv (‘[it is] wanted/wished/desired that you continue-to-live’)
  j’latI cek nU’qa olliv (‘[it is] wanted/wished/desired that we (‘I-and-you (singular) continue-to-live’)
  j’latI cek nU’qa’i olliv ( (‘[it is] wanted/wished/desired that we (‘I and you (plural) continue-to-live’)
