Work Text:
Sometimes Kuina would look in the mirror and not recognise herself. When she undressed to wash, she avoided looking at her own body - the body she didn't want, the body she didn't like, the curves she saw growing more and more and hated so much. Those curves that showed she was becoming a woman only repelled her, and the older she grew, the less she looked at herself.
You are becoming a woman, her father would sometimes say with a proud smile.
I'm getting weak, Kuina thought.
She had no desire to grow up. She didn't feel like a woman.
