Life was never easy, that's why he smiles and laughs at everything. He supported everyone from behind without asking for anything in return, he goes along with the mood and even made a fool out of himself, and at times he would even laugh at himself.
He spent sleepless nights to do his work and then more work during the day, he barely gets any rest or time for himself and it was worth it for all the recognition he gets.
Some praise him for being hardworking and supportive, he was grateful for those who notice but after that it was forgotten, like a dream that passes by in one night. He tried to be useful and wanted, he works hard to please them, afraid that if he was not what they think he was they'll leave and he will be alone again.
"No no no, I'm happy to join the call, thanks for having me!" Alban Knox said as he smiles while staring at the screen on his computer.
The screen on Pomu's stream ended showing the ending credits as their call ended with goodbyes. When the call ended the smile on his face we're replace with sadness, he still wanted to talk with everyone but all of them are busy or asleep.
Feeling his stomach grumble, he got up and went out of his room and stares at the empty hallway, doors on the sides leading to his gen-mates private rooms.
Passing by Sonny's on the left and Yugo's room on the right, he can hear Sonny laughing like a maniac probably playing something and was killing a thing or a person. On Yugo's room, he can hear him playing a guitar and humming some inaudible words.
Moving forward, he pass by Fulgur's room on the right and Uki's room on the left. He wonders why the two have separate private rooms when they have a room on the third floor that they share.
"Oh, right. The second floor is the private room for streaming" He mumbles as he remembers the reason. The third floor consisting of three rooms, Uki and Fulgur's, Sonny and Alban's and Yugo's.
In his defence, Uki and Fulgur's room have one king size bed and his and Sonny's has two double beds, he would rather not think what Uki and Fulgur are doing in that room but there is a reason why he sleeps in the second floor.

He jumped when the door on Fulgur's room opened and Fulgur came out jumping in surprise when he saw Alban standing there.
"What the- Alban, you scared the shit out of me" Fulgur said as he closes his door, alban caught a glimpse and saw that his computers are all off.
"Sorry, i was going to the kitchen" Alban said as Fulgur nodded.
"I'll go upstairs then, can you close the lights in the lounge area? Uki would be pissed if he saw it lit up and no one's there" Fulgur said as Alban smiled and nodded.
'So, Uki is already upstairs..' He thought as he notice Uki's quiet room, feeling a bit relief that he didn't had to watch out for Uki in the kitchen. Fulgur on the other hand squinted his eyes as he stares at Alban's face.
"Leave it up to me!" He grinned as Fulgur only smiled and patted him in the head before leaving to go upstairs.
Going downstairs, he made his way swiftly to the kitchen, he hesitantly grabbed a chicken spread jar in the fridge and grabbed the bread in the counter to make himself a sandwich.
He cut a piece of bread in half before scooping a small portion of the chicken spread into the bread. Staring at the sandwich he made, he hesitantly took a bite, before he knew it the sandwich is gone and he looks back at the bread craving for some more.
He really wanted more but he was afraid, afraid to ask for more. He grew up with nothing, nothing to eat or to drink hence he was afraid everytime he ate even a small piece of bread, he was even more afraid to eat when he came here, he didn't know if it was really okay despite everyone saying it.
He shook his head, clearing his head of the thoughts and immediately return the jar in the fridge and return the bread back in the counter, once he turns around to leave, he froze on the spot when his eyes landed on the person standing there with a glare on his face.
"U-Uki? U-Umm.. y-your here.." He stuttered as he avoided Uki's eyes staring at him. He didn't know why he was nervous and afraid when Uki looks at him that way, considering Uki always glares at him for flirting with Fulgur.
Uki didn't utter any words, he walks towards the fridge and grabbed a few ingredients and setting it at the counter. Alban who felt clueless as to what was happening and decided to walk away and leave immediately but was stopped by Uki's stern voice.
"Wait for me in the dining room"
Alban swallowed nervously as he nodded, he turns to look at Uki and was about to say something but stops and looks down then he reluctantly went to the dining room and sat there awaiting for anything that is about to happen to him.
"Oh? Why are you sitting there with an expression like that?" Fulgur asks as he emerge out from the side coming from the second floor. Alban on the other hand, jumped in surprise due to Fulgur's deep yet loud voice that echoes on the silent room.
"O-Oh.. Uki told me to wait" He said as Fulgur blink twice before laughing until he wheeze.
"He caught you huh, and you just sat there like a child caught red handed" Fulgur said as he keeps laughing.
"What do you want me to do under that glare of his? It's freaking scary man" Alban defended as he shuddered remembering the look on Uki's face.
"Yeah, he may look cute but when needed his face is terrifying" Fulgur agrees as Alban raise a brow at him.
"My face is terrifying to you, Fuu Fuu-chan?" Uki said as he emerge out from the kitchen holding a plate as Fulgur jump in surprise. Alban almost had a heart attack, completely having two jump scares in the same night.
"N-No, i said you were cute!" Fulgur defended as Uki squinted his eyes at him.
"were? so I'm not cute right now?" Uki interrogated as Fulgur sweat nervously.
"Not when you look like that..." Fulgur mumbled as he averted his eyes away.
"What?" Uki asks with a raise brow, not hearing what Fulgur said.
"Nothing, baby! I said you are cute! Beautiful, Adorable and Hot! Now, what are you holding?" Fulgur exclaimed and tries to change the subject as Alban laugh at his attempt.
"Nice try, baby. Since you are asking, this is for Alban" Uki said as he put the plate down in front of Alban who looks at him confuse but his eyes widened when he saw a plate of omelette specifically what's written in it.
"U-Uki.." Alban said his voice strained as tears well up in his eyes, he couldn't help but feel touched and emotional. Out of all Noctyx, Uki is the closest person who had the same troubled past as he does, it comforts him that someone understood his pain and what he was going through.
Uki sat at the empty chair beside Alban who cried and buried his face in Uki's neck with his arms circled around his waist as Uki pat him in the back considering Uki is shorter than him.
Fulgur on the other hand went to the side to see what was written and smiles softly, he looks at Uki lovingly and Uki smiles at him as he comforts Alban. Fulgur sat on the other empty chair and hug both of them and despite his metal arms, the hug is warm and soft, it felt comforting.
Life was never easy, he smiles, he laughs and he works hard to be recognize, no matter how tired he was he'll do everything. Even if he suffers from constant reminder of the past, there are people there who will keep telling him that it'll be okay.
"Thank you..." was all Alban said and after, they spend their night watching a movie then cuddling with Sonny in bed after his stream as they talk about their day.
"I'm sorry i wasn't there, Alban~" Sonny whined as he embrace Alban tight in his arms.
"It's okay, you're here with me. You, Uki, Fulgur, and Yugo are all here with me, that's all that matters" Alban said as he buried his face is Sonny's chest.
"I'll take a day off tomorrow, let's go out, eat and play around somewhere" Sonny suggested as Alban looks up at him excitedly.
"A date?" Alban asks his eyes twinkling in anticipation as Sonny blushed at how cute he looks right now.
"Yes, a date~" Sonny said as he kisses Alban forehead and they continue to cuddle.
When things are hard and he couldn't bear it anymore, he knows Uki and Fulgur will be there, to remind him he was not alone and will be ready to catch him when he falls and will be there until he get back on his feet.
He knows Sonny will be there to comfort him after, to make him smile and brings him a future he didn't know he will have.
He will be forever grateful to his friends, for giving him a place to call home and the words Uki wrote on his omelette will forever be engrave in his mind.
