Anfarwol watched as his (supposedly) begrudging companion turned the entirety of their campsite upside down in search of something. The Rava had made multiple attempts to aid the Ishgardian, yet the man refused to state what he was searching for, thus denying Anfarwol any way of helping in the bud. He wondered what would happen first: Gliommoux find whatever he was looking for, or for him to finish the candies he had started snacking on near two bells ago.
“‘Lio, you’ve been at this for almost a bell now. Surely at least telling me the name of whatever you’re looking for won’t hurt?” He popped another candy into his mouth. “Hells it’d make it easier since we’ve to pack up camp before first light in the morn’ - unless you’d rather wait another week to cross the chasm,” Anfarwol spoke calmly as once more Gliommoux raced from one side of their camp to the other to begin the search again.
“What? So you can laud yourself for finding it so soon after knowing what it is I’m seeking? Absolutely not-” The Ishgardian froze as his eyes rolled over to Anfarwol. “Anf.”
“Hm?”
“What is that in your hands?”
Brows furrowed in confusion, Anfarwol looked to his hands. One with the now empty pack of candy he’d been working through, and the other holding the last of said candies. “Uh. The candy we picked up in Radz-at-Han?”
Silence.
“When did you start eating them?”
He tilted his head in feigned confusion at the quiet but clearly hostile tone Gliommoux spoke with, measuring his best escape routes for the pounce he knew was coming.
Seems he’d have a week to make it up to Gliommoux for eating his candy at least.
