It had been 18 years since Perseus Jackson was taken saved from a city of ashes and cinders. Mother, Sally Jackson long forgotten - Poseidon god of sea & earthquakes, had kept quiet about their "affair". Perseus was raised to be the Olympians successor, their champion. His beauty matched Aphrodite herself, ambition compared to Apollo, strength competed by Zeus and rage by Ares.
♧
One day, after archery practice with the Twins, (Artemis got 8 bullseyes, Apollo 7 and Perseus 5.) Perseus spoke to the divine Council - those missing were Hades & Persephone. Hestia sat by the Hearth; a constant warmth in the icy hall.
And he spoke, "I believe it is time for me to go visit the mortal world. I wish to see the place of godlings and legacies, Camp Half-Blood." he was met with a chorus of doubts - Ares smirked knowing what was to come, Athena yelled and cursed at Zeus for his knowledge, and Posideon. Posideon stayed silent.
Hestia smiled at him. Zeus stood, "As head of the Council of the gods, I allow Perseus...Jackson to venture to the mortal realm and visit Camp Half-Blood." and sat back down, eyebrows furrowed. Thunderous voice silent.

With a final bow, Perseus left the throne room. With the gift of travel from Hermes; he arrived at Long Island, he walked through the Greek archway that simply stated "Camp Half-Blood - Safe place for demigods" •huh? demigods, so that's what they are calling themselves these days• he stopped by the metallic shine of the border, where a tall pine stood.
He passed through, the illusion glitching for a second, he felt a cold sensation run down his spine and stop at the small of his back his Achilles. He marched down the hill and to the centre of the camp. He realised he was under the wide eyes of the young campers and with a snap of his fingers, his heavy chiton and drooping laurel reef turned into the stark orange of a the camp shirt and pair of green shorts and black converse.
♧
Finally he was at the camp eatery, he looked around and saw some strangely familiar faces, faces he had seen never seen before. A blonde girl with tanned skin and grey eyes and a blue Yankees cap, an olive skinned teen who wore black clothes and a heavy Aviators jacket, a short Latino boy whose face was covered in grime, an obsidian skinned girl with golden puffs of hair and a purple shirt, two boys who matched his height, one Asian with strong arms and a purple shirt similar to the girls, and one blonde with square glasses with thin frames. He recognised to more girls who the uniform of Artemis's hunt. And lastly •mortal?• with curious green eyes and fiery red hair.
The blonde girl met his gaze. She looked startled as if she had seen a ghost. She breathed deep.
"Per-Percy?"
The others turned, Perseus •Percy?• tilted his head.
"Do I know you?"
She looked disappointed. He stared, directly into her stormy grey eyes.
♧
"Wait - Annabeth?"
