Work Text:
Sumihiko Kamado stared on in disbelief, as a three eyed, the third eye being on a tentacle connected to it’s back with a mouth below said eye, eight legged, dog headed, spider fanged, demon half the size of himself, was-and he wasn’t even kidding-eating his book bag.
What made the, thing? Think that a book bag was perfectly well and fine chow, what type of five star meal did this creature think it was eating, he quite literally could smell satisfaction radiating off the dog, why was this happening? He was at almost perfect attendance for school and this happens? He sighed as he ran back into his apartment and grabbed his ancestor’s katana, how many demons has he encountered this week alone? At this point he might as well take it with him in the bathroom and hold it beneath his pillow while he sleeps.
He unsheathed the black katana and didn’t even bother attaching the sheath to his waist before running out the door and chasing after the demonized dog which growled as Sumihiko approached. It lunged it’s (eye? Mouth?) whatever it was at him. He quickly swiped upward while using flower breathing, and he swiped the ground slightly, there were now flowers leftover in the ground, how is he supposed to explain flowers growing into the apartment ground? The poor janitors are going to have to dig them out, poor mister Saburo.
Barking and whining the dog headed spider creature leaped directly at him leading him into dodging to the left and swiping his blade upwards while using water breathing to directly slice it’s neck, it slid across the ground leaving blood before it turned quickly into dust. And now he also had to explain water damage as water poured onto the ground.
He picked up his book bag and nearly dropped it as saliva got onto his hand, letting a noise of disgust escape his mouth he wiped his hand off on the railing.
“SUMIHIKO KAMADO! WHERE IS YOUR HOMEWORK?!” His teacher yelled at him.
“You wouldn’t believe me either way!”
“PRESENT YOUR HOMEWORK!” He put his hands up in surrender before reaching down and picking up his saliva covered bag that the dog slobbered over. He put it on his table and stared up at the teacher.
The teacher stared for a moment before sighing and giving up. “Just get it to me by tomorrow…” She said in exasperation as she continued onto the next kid. The rest of the classroom staring at him disbelieved that it’d actually happened.
“What?!”
