You had heard a lot of stories of opposite people who ended up being together. They were stories which are told to kids before they fall asleep, or which are told while you're sitting by the campfire and want to make something to do.
That wasn't quite that type of situation. You were fire, and she was ice. You were opposites with your powers, but you had been friends even since she first came to Storybrooke - and you had loved her for all this time. You didn't know if she loved you back or if it was one-sided, but the way she looked at you, the way Anna teased Elsa when you were next to her told its own story. Maybe it was just your imagination, or then you were right about it - maybe Elsa had feelings for you.
And everyone in Storybrooke saw it. You and Elsa were a perfect couple. Queen of Ice and Queen of Fire, it was maybe a bit cheesy but when those who didn't believe in your chemistry saw it with their own eyes, anyone couldn't deny it. There was something between you that would grow to be very powerful in the end.
