Tubbo awoke to frantic knocking on his door. Sighing, he forced himself to get out of bed and walk to the door.
He opened the door, rubbing his eyes with his free hand. “What do you want, it’s the in the fucking morning-“
Tubbo audibly gasped when he saw the familiar tall blonde in his doorway.
“Tubbo- I-“
Then Tommy broke.
He started crying, standing in front of tubbo.
Well this was awkward.
“Tubbo- I- Wil- he-“ Tommy could barely get a word out, trying his best to speak through his sobs.
Tubbo walked forward and hugged the blonde tightly. “Shut” he muttered lightheartedly.
Tommy clung onto the shorter brunette, crying into his shoulder.
Tubbo pulled away from the embrace first, stepping inside, and gesturing for tommy to do the same.
Tommy followed him inside, sitting on the couch in tubbo’s front room.
“Tell me what happened.” Tubbo said. They both knew it wasn’t a question.
“Wilbur- it’s really fuckin stupid- he- well- he said he was gonna leave and well- I thought he was going to- y’know- fuckin- off himself or some shit- and- he said he was- he was going to fuckin Utah- because- I don’t fuckin know- he’s American or some shit- but he left me, tubbo, he left me again, and I- I finally thought I had my brother back- and that was taken away immediately-“ tommy spoke through sobs. Tubbo nodded in understanding.
“…do you want to stay over? For old time’s sake?” Tubbo cracked a wry smile.
Tommy let out a dry laugh. “Yeah, just like L’manburg, right?”
Tubbo nodded.
“I missed you, Tubs.”
…
“I missed you too, Toms.”
Wilbur used to call me that, Tommy thought, but he pushed it away because it just made him feel worse.
He was glad he had one last person to rely on, though.
