"I hate those idiots!"
Magni just had his first fight. Some guys from another high school were bothering Rio and even though they were three he managed to give them their due.
"You are the idiot one here!"
It is nothing more than a small scar on the right eyebrow but Rio insisted about buying alcohol and cotton.
"Luckily today my mom works late so I will be able to go to your house and heal you myself".
Minase takes Dezmond's hand and they start walking.
"Idiot"...
Rio is used to receiving comments about his appearance, teasing and even insults but if someone has always defended him it's Magni.
"We will go to the supermarket near your house".
Rio is that kind of boy, he will always take care of those who take care of him.
After waiting in a long line for ten minutes and paying five dollars, Rio and Magni left the supermarket; straight to Dezmond's house.
"I want to scratch it"...
Dezmond is about to scratch his eyebrow when Minase stops him and sees him right into the eye.
"I will not being your friend anymore if you scratch it".
Rio squeeze Magni's hand and walk faster.
"Just five houses left, hold on".
They almost start running but can't do it because Rio doesn't want to let go of Magni's hand.
Both head to the kitchen.
Magni sat on a chair and Rio at the table, in front of him.
"I just need you not to move".
Minase soaks a small cotton ball in alcohol and brings it closer to Magni's 'wound'.
"I- I'm sorry"...
Rio says before healing the small scar.
"Ah...
It didn't hurt at all".
Magni endures the pain quite a bit, although his knuckles are starting to feel heavy.
"It's not the first time I've seen them bothering you but the fact that they pushed you made me mad"...
Dezmond didn't want to punch them but Rio is someone special to him.
"Yes, yes. Enough".
Rio gently grabs Magni's shoulder, walks to the fridge and grabs two cold cans of Cola flavor soda.
As a lesson for his impulsive behavior he puts the cold can on Magni's neck.
"You idiot" ~
Minase smiles at Magni and walks upstairs.
"Ughhh"...
Dezmond is glad about Rio didn't see him blush.
Magni's parents are never at home however they always call him to know if he is okay.
Dezmond is a bit lonely so being able to spend the day with Rio today made fighting three idiots taller than him worth it.
"My dad went on a business trip again so if I ask my mom for permission to stay overnight here she may agree".
Rio says while drinking from the can, they are both sitting cross-legged on the floor.
"Ehhh...
So you really want a rematch?"
Magni turns on his console and stretches out his arm to reach for a video game on a shelf.
"The other day I had to go home without underwear!"
Rio takes the wireless controller, ready to beat Magni.
"I take them because!
Be- because"...
Dezmond is too ashamed that he can barely start the game.
A classic one-on-one fighting game.
The first to win three fights in a row, wins. Both bet and if they know anything it is that the bets must be respected.
"Magni, Magni, Magni...
One more victory for me and you will be the big loser".
They have already played ten rounds and Rio has the upper hand.
"A bet is a bet. If I win the next fight then you and I will have to"-
Minase realizes he probably talked too much.
'You and I will have to'...
Obviously Magni's attention was captured by those words.
Even though Dezmond is impatient to know what Rio wants, he played and lost honestly without letting Rio win on purpose.
"And?"
Magni cannot hide the nerves.
"Well, uhmmm"...
Rio is nervous too.
"The bet is that the loser kisses the winner on the lips!"
Magni exhales nervously.
"You and I".
Dezmond smiles.
"Idiot!"
Just as Rio was about to get up, Dezmond held his arm, closed his eyes, and kissed his best friend on the lips.
Even though Minase only thought of touching Magni's lips for three seconds, two minutes have passed already. Apparently neither of them bothers tho...
"You and I"...
Dezmond says to know what to do.
"Yes"...
Rio says.
Dezmond slowly walks away and opens his eyes.
"We will play all night and keep making bets!"
"Ye-
YEAH OF COURSE!"
"Please call your mom and ask her if you can stay overnight!"
"That's what I'll do!"
Both guys will surely keep betting until one of them has to take off his underwear.
