Chapter 1: B-TEAM
Chapter Text
SUMMARY
A mercenary team based out of the settlement called "Boom Town", located in the Devil's Razor region of Pandora. Known for their unorthodox methods, the group will take on just about any job, so long as it is within their wheelhouse... and involves destruction in some fashion. Notable clients include Wainright Jakobs, the Atlas corporation , the Crimson Raiders and the Vladof corporation.
KNOWN/PROMINENT MEMBERS
- "Tiny" Tina: Codename "Crunk Bunny"; Explosives Expert
- Brick: Codename "Meatslab"; Heavy hitter, Heavy Lifter
- Mordecai: Codename "Birdman"; Scout, Sharpshooter
- Talon: No codename listed; Scout, Messenger
- Enrique IV: No codename listed; Guard Dog
- Unknown: Codename "Comandante"; [REDACTED]
"Tiny" Tina, AKA Crunk Bunny
A Pandoran native, her and her family were sold to the Hyperion corporation for slag experimentation. She escaped captivity and lived in solitude, until called upon for aid by the Crimson Raiders. Later claimed vengeance on the person who sold her family; a bandit named Flesh-Stick.
Highly proficient with explosives, seemingly a self-taught savant. Uses primarily scrap and other misc. items available at hand; does not seem to affect stability of her created explosives, though destructive capabilities wildly vary. Also proficient, though less so, with various manner of firearms, most likely from being raised on Pandora. Has possible mental health/coping issues regarding former friend Roland, also suffers from intermittent exotropia in left eye.
Commander's Note
My little Crunk Bunny, such an energetic spirit. I have not seen anyone with such enthusiasm and skill regarding explosives, of which outreaches even my own. I do wish that Tina could have faired better in her earlier life, though I am unsure if she would still be the same person she is today.
Brick, AKA Meatslab
Originally from Menoetius, Brick at some unknown point moved to Pandora to become a vault hunter. Joined with Mordecai, Roland and Lilith to find the "Vault of the Destroyer" and also helped found the ex-Atlas group, the Crimson Raiders. He was expelled from the Raiders for the murder of one Shep Sanders, of whom had revealed the location of then base; New Haven, to the Hyperion corporation, leading to it's destruction. Later became bandit king of the Slab Gang, before he rejoined the Crimson Raiders in their effort of defeating Hyperion's CEO, Handsome Jack.
Extremely proficient in hand-to-hand combat, to lethal proportions. Has been recorded on several occasions being outnumbered and outgunned, but still emerging victorious. He also has experience with firearms, but almost outright refuses to use them, seemingly on principle. Apparent anger issues, uses images of and physical puppies as coping mechanism.
Commander's Note
A bruiser with a heart of gold, if ever I have seen one. While some of his methods certainly are... extreme, he has best interests in mind, for the most part. I cannot speak to his earlier years, but from what I have heard from others, he has definitely mellowed out in recent times.
Mordecai, AKA Birdman
Born on the planet Artemis, Mordecai was a gifted marksman who won an interplanetary shooting competition at age 17; with a revolver, rather than a sniper rifle like everyone else. He was accused of cheating and eventually banned for bad conduct, though evidence was never properly supplied. He eventually moved to Pandora and helped found the Crimson raiders, however lost his companion Bloodwing during their campaign to defeat Handsome Jack.
Proficient with all firearms, but heavily prefers sniper rifles. Absurdly accurate at long ranges, regardless of weapon used. Works efficiently with Brick, as well as his new companion: Bloodwing's descendent, Talon. Former alcoholic, has kept clean to properly raise Talon and maintain cohesion with the rest of the B-Team.
Commander's Note
I made the mistake of accepting a shooting challenge against the man when we first met, though he claims that I put up a good fight. I am very glad he no longer drinks, as I have known more than a few alcoholics that have been chewed up and spat out of Odessa Squad.
Talon and Enrique
Talon is a descendent of Mordecai's previous companion, Bloodwing. An endangered species, she is somewhat aggressive and certainly protective of those under her gaze. Prefers skag tongues as a treat, but has not attempted to take Enrique's tongue...yet.
Enrique (IV) is a shock elemental skag, and current pet of "Tiny" Tina. Surprisingly well trained/behaved, he is a well intentioned (if somewhat lazy) guard dog and pet. Has a tendency to chew on batteries if left unsecured.
Commander's Note
Talon is a good girl, though she rarely leaves Mordecai's side and vice versa... most likely to avoid a repeat situation with Bloodwing. I do not blame them.
As for Enrique, he was certainly... a handful, when we first met. However, I managed to get him under control, and now he is much more obedient... seems to be content with it too. Maybe some fair discipline was what he needed, Tina and pre-training Enrique was too much chaos for everyone, themselves included.
Unknown, AKA Comandante

SUMMARY
Founded by the former Atlas soldier Roland and his friends, the Crimson Raiders consist of ex-Atlas members of the Crimson Lance, as well as various vault hunters and other misc. personnel from across Pandora. Their main interest is in the Eridian vaults scattered throughout the galaxy, however they have also been involved in various events; including the downfall of Hyperion, as well as the subjugation of the bandit army: the Children Of the Vault.

Lilith, AKA The Firehawk
Native to Dionysus, Lilith was a founding member of the Crimson Raiders. The supposedly elusive siren has been involved in several major events on Pandora, Elpis and Nekrotafeyo; before disappearing completely after helping stop the planet-ending machinations of another siren.
While proficient with firearms, more preference was given to her unique siren powers, notably the "phaseblast" and "phasewalk" abilities that have been thoroughly recorded by Dr. Patricia Tannis.
Commander's Note
While I did not get to meet Lilith in person, she was spoken in high regard by her colleagues. I have put out alerts to reliable sources throughout the galaxy, but I am unsure as to whether she will turn up.
Roland
A former member of Atlas' Crimson Lance on Promethea, Roland was honorably discharged for unknown reasons. After forming the Crimson Raiders, he went on to lead them in a campaign against Hyperion and it's then CEO, Handsome Jack. While the operation was ultimately successful, he was killed in action by Handsome Jack while infiltrating Control Core: Angel.
Roland was proficient with all weapon categories, both ranged and melee. Preferred using assault rifles and his custom Scorpio turret, but was known to improvise when needed.
Commander's Note
A soldier to the end, I will remember and honor his sacrifice.
Dr Patricia Tannis
Originally contracted by the Dahl corporation to unearth Eridian vaults, she was abandoned along with everyone else when they abruptly left the planet. Continuing her research, Tannis hired vault hunters to assist in the more dangerous areas, before she joined a particular group that formed the Crimson Raiders.
Tannis has no discernable combat prowess, her interests and skillset are purely academic. She also appears to suffer from a myriad of mental health issues, of which she copes with by primarily talking to inanimate objects.
Commander's Note
Another broken mind of Pandora. At least she has some people around her to help, as well as her research to focus on. Speaking of, I have looked over some of her work and while some of it is... somewhat lacking in coherence, the majority is surprisingly thorough.
Ellie
The daughter of "Mad" Moxxi, Ellie currently runs the interplanetary Catch-A-Ride vehicle service, after taking it over from her deceased brother, Scooter. She also serves as the Crimson Raider's engineer aboard Sanctuary III.
No specific combat skills have been recorded, however she appears to be competent with just about anything within arms reach. Of particular note is her affinity for vehicular manslaughter/homicide, preferably with a custom built vehicle for just that purpose.
Commander's Note
A skilled mechanic, and she knows it. Ellie has handled the Catch-A-Ride business well, I may have to request her services for a personal commission, something modular for interplanetary use.
Scooter
The former owner of the Catch-A-Ride service, son to "Mad" Moxxi and brother to Ellie, Scooter was a mechanical savant who operated across Pandora, including locations such as New Haven, Sanctuary I, T-Bone Junction and Hollow Point. He was killed while aiding then Hyperion employee Rhys Strongfork, to infiltrate the orbital station Helios.
Commander's Note
I never met the man, but those I met that knew him sung praises of his work, as well as awkwardly mention his... quirks. I am sure he will be missed by all.
"Mad" Moxxi
Former owner of the Underdome arena [Pandora], current owner of the Up Over bar [Concordia, Elpis], Torgue Arena [BADASS CRATER OF BADASSITUDE, Pandora] and the Handsome Jackpot [Space, mobile], the bartender/arenamaster provides jobs and other services for those who can afford them. Has been married multiple times, however is currently not married. Also has a substantial list of former and current lovers.
Has no preference for weapons in terms of category, however all weapons she uses/offers seem to follow a trend of suggestive themes.
Commander's Note
Ahh, the infamous Mad Moxxi. I was offered a chance to "test my Vladof steel" not long after we met, but while it was tempting, I politely declined. There is only one for me, and it is not this bartender. Plus, I am pretty sure even Moxxi could not compare to her... enthusiasm and stamina.
Sir Alistair Hammerlock
Native to Hermes, the famed hunter has been to and hunted across most, if not all planets across the borderlands. After events regarding the Children Of the Vault on Eden-6, he married Jakobs CEO Wainright Jakobs.
Favors sniper rifles for hunting, but has been known to use his prosthetic appendages as impromptu weapons.
Commander's Note
Quite the gentleman, I applaud his taste in weapons, profession and suitors. In that order. Not that it is saying much.
Ava
Raised on Athenas by the re-organized Order of the Impending Storm and siren Maya, Ava appears to aspire to be a vault hunter like her mentor. Known by both the monks of Athenas and the crew of Sanctuary III as a sticky fingered thief, she has been hired by a multitude of people to steal things, with moderate success.
Ava Has no preference on weapons, she seems to use anything she can get her hands on. Has been known to steal enemy weapons and sabotage them, Maliwan SMGs in particular.
Commander's Note
Ava clearly does not know how to size up her marks, the child was oblivious to my not-so-subtle efforts to foil her pickpocketing. She has promise, both as a thief and a vault hunter, but those impulses of hers need to be kept in check if she wishes to improve.
Vaughn
Former accountant for the Hyperion corporation, Vaughn aided fellow employee Rhys Strongfork in various events, which culminated in the destruction of orbital platform Helios. He later formed and became leader of a bandit group; the Children of Helios, comprised of ex-Hyperion personnel. Became leader of another bandit group; the Sun Smashers, after the Children of Helios were defeated by Col. Hector in the "New Pandora" incident. Later joined the Crimson Raiders after Sun Smashers joined the Children Of the Vault cult.
Has possible combat experience, but unable to verify.
Commander's Note
The ability of good number management can be more powerful to a corporation than the biggest of space-lasers. If what Rhys told me about him is true, stealing millions from Hyperion, just like that, is very impressive. I also need to find out his workout routine, because... reasons.
Claptrap
Claptrap is a CL4P-TP unit made by the Hyperion corporation. [Archivist's note: This is all anyone wanted to write about him, I do not blame them.]
Commander's Note
Claptrap is Claptrap, I do not envy those who must put up with him... though a part of me does pity his circumstances. Just a small part.

SUMMARY
Generally influential persons that offer various services for the right price or disposition.
KNOWN/PROMINENT MEMBERS
- Marcus Kincaid: Weapons Dealer
- Dr. Zed Blanco: Doctor, Physician
- Crazy Earl: Black Market Dealer, Eridium Hoarder
- "Mad" Moxxi: See [CRIMSON RAIDERS]
- Janey Springs: Black Marketeer, Junk dealer, Aspiring Writer
- Nurse Nina: Nurse
- Scooter: See [CRIMSON RAIDERS]
- Ellie: See [CRIMSON RAIDERS]
Marcus Kincaid
Originally contracted by the Dahl and Atlas corporations to sell weapons across Pandora, Marcus has maintained a relative monopoly on sales on the planet by undercutting and eliminating his competition. Has almost no scruples in terms of what he sells or who to, as well as a strict no refunds policy.
Does not use weapons so much as sells them, however he has an extensive catalogue of knowledge regarding firearms and their applications.
Commander's Note
A crafty bastard, I would find it admirable if he was not so stingy about... everything. Especially money.
Dr. Zed Blanco
Originally running a practice in Fyrestone, Pandora, at some point Dr. Zed lost his medical license due to unknown reasons. He moved practice to Sanctuary I when Fyrestone was destroyed by the Hyperion corporation, however after Sanctuary's destruction, his current location is unknown.
Has no combat experience, though he has been seen using medical utensils as weapons to defend himself, primarily against creatures of his own machinations.
Commander's Note
This "doctor" is questionable at best, but considering what the Crimson Raiders had to work with, I do not blame them for keeping him around.
Crazy Earl
A black marketeer that deals mainly in eridium and occassionally Elpis moonstones, Earl has been a supplier of illicit goods for the Crimson Raiders even before their inception. Has been known to hoard items, eridium in particular, as well as eat entire cars.
Commander's Note
Earl certainly is crazy, but he always has something you need... so long as you can afford it. Just do not leave anything you value near his abode.
Janey Springs
Originally the owner of Spring's Emporium O Stuff on Elpis, she moved with her now wife Athena to Hollow Point, Pandora, after the Dahl: Lost Legion incident. Currently works odd jobs, mechanics in particular, while also pursuing a potential writing career with children's books.
Reportedly has black-belt level skills with a wrench, most likely uses mechanic tools as makeshift weapons.
Commander's Note
A lovely person, even though her accent can be somewhat difficult to pierce at times. I must make a habit to visiting her and Athena more often, maybe offer them some well paid, yet relatively safe work.
Nurse Nina

SUMMARY
A particular brand of mercenaries that have varying interests in Eridian vaults, usually more interested in the loot that lay within them. Morals and preference vary wildly, though most notable hunters have seemingly aligned with the Crimson Raiders, who also search for the vaults.

Zer0
Zer0's origins are unknown, as are most details of his/her/their(?) identity. characteristics of note include a tall and slender frame, distinct armor, four digit hands, emoticon helmet display and communication almost purely in haiku poetry.
Deadly proficient with all weapons, also uses and prefers a custom sword that is combined with stealth tech for lethal combinations.
Commander's Note
An enigma to be sure, I would certainly not want this assassin to be my enemy.
Salvador
According to locals of his hometown Ovejas, Salvador was slated to be executed for excessive violence and other heinous crimes, until the Hyperion corporation interfered, albeit accidentally. After killing an entire strike team that had attempted to seize the town, as well as any locals who dared to still execute him, he found out about a new Eridian vault on Pandora, which landed him in similar circumstances of joining the Crimson Raiders as Axton.
Has no preference for types of weapons, however enjoys dual wielding varying types of firearms, even explosives.
Commander's Note
If there ever was the embodiment of a Pandoran, Salvador would be it. While he is a capable fighter, I would not trust him as far as I could throw him. And no, that is not a short person joke.
Gaige DiMartino
A former high-schooler from Eden-5, Gaige was forced to leave the planet due to a legal, then lethal incident with classmate Marcie Holloway, regarding her originally science fair project, Deathtrap. Being fascinated with Pandora and Eridian Vaults, she became a vault hunter and stowed away to the planet, winding up with other vault hunters that joined the Crimson Raiders.
Is surprisingly proficient with most firearms, however has issues with accuracy and will prefer weapons that do not require precise aiming. Deathtrap [Designation DT] is primarily used as a distraction or crowd control, however it's single claw attack has issues with heavier or multiple targets.
Commander's Note
I have no idea what this child was thinking when she arrived on Pandora, but Gaige seems to have adapted fairly quickly. Her "anarchistic" fighting style is surprisingly effective, though it could become very dangerous should something go wrong.
Krieg
Any particular psycho's origins are generally hard to surmise, however recovered Hyperion records indicate Krieg was initially a bounty hunter, before being captured by the corporation for experimentation.
Able to use most weapons effectively, Krieg prefers to use explosives and a buzz-axe, usually in a dangerous combination.
Commander's Note
Psychos, a tragic tale of planetary proportions. This one seems to have at least some of their faculties, though for how long, I cannot say.
Moserah "Moze" Hayussinian Yan-Lun al-Amir Andreyevna
Gunner First-Class Moserah "Moze" Andreyevna served in the Vladof Ursa Corp, earning various distinctions and awards, as well as several citations for conduct unbecoming. She was reported KIA along with the rest of her squad during the battle of Darzaran Bay, not all bodies were able to be accounted for.
Moze was a capable fighter with various firearms and other weapons, but stood out for her effective use of her designated "Iron Bear" mech and standard issue combat knife.
Commander's Note
This comment has been sealed by [VERA VLADOF], please contact an authorized archive member of [COMMANDER] or higher clearance if you wish to view it.
Ahh, Moserah. I have informed her "next of kin" and offered them more than adequate compensation, of which I am sure she and IB will appreciate.
Zane Flynt
Blood relative of known bandits, both named Flynt, Zane at some point his his life joined an elite mercenary unit, who then supposedly spent decades performing every form of mercenary work available in the six galaxies. Having made many enemies, he returned to Pandora to lay low, before joining the Crimson Raiders to stop the Children Of the Vault.
Zane has been categorized as deadly with every weapon listable, as well as a large compliment of non-weapons, including tools and even household objects. Most notable weapons are his SNTNL drones, digi-clone tech and MNTIS shoulder cannon.
Commander's Note
I have encountered this son of a bitch on no less than 5 separate occasions. I would respect him and his skills more, if he had not taken so many jobs targeting Vladof.
FL4K
FL4K appears to be some kind of autonomous unit with self-awareness, though their origins are unknown. What little is recorded indicates them to be a hunter of sorts, however there appears to be no specific target other than hunting itself.
Seemingly capable with most firearms, they appear to favor hunting weapons such as sniper rifles. Also commands several beasts, including a Pandoran skag and rakk, a spiderant and an Eden-6 jabber.
Commander's Note
This beastmaster FL4K is formidable, but I do not trust them, nor do I like the unknown origins of this hunter. Their skag Mr. Chew is absolutely adorable, however.
Aurelia Hammerlock
Sister of Alistair Hammerlock, Aurelia appears to be the antithesis of her brother. Business oriented, cold and calculating, and seems only to hunt for idle thrills. Was last spotted on planet Epitah and Eden-6 by vault hunters, with rumors about involvement in affairs regarding the Jakobs corporation.
Favors long range weapons of high quality/price, as well as contracting others to fight by her side. Also utilizes ice elemental tech to a large degree, and only ice.
Commander's Note
The figurative and literal Ice Queen. I am not sure whether to pity her strained family relationship, or curse her name for making Alistair look bad. That, and messing around with Jakobs... not sure what she was doing there, but it could not be anything good, I promise you.

Chapter Text
SUMMARY
A group of individuals, all female, that exhibit mysterious powers. There can apparently be only 6 of them alive at any given time, with all sirens past and present sharing a distinct set of powers, marked by glowing tattoos on their bodies.
KNOWN/PROMINENT MEMBERS
- Lilith: See [THE CRIMSON RAIDERS]
- Steele: See [ATLAS CORPORATION]
- Angel: See [HYPERION CORPORATION]
- Maya: "Phaselock" siren
- Amara: "Phasetrance" siren
- Tyreen: "Phaseleech" siren
Maya
Originally raised by the Order of the Impending Storm on Athenas, Maya was reportedly used as a tool for extortion and obedience. Upon realization she left for Pandora; according to one of the monks questioned, to discover about her siren heritage.
With training from the Order before their re-organization, Maya is competent with all manner of weapons, but prefers SMGs. Her siren power has been designated "phaselock", for it's ability to lock individuals in place, seemingly through a phase-tear in reality.
Commander's Note
I was worried about her condition when first meeting her, after hearing about the incident she suffered on Promethea. However, she has assured me that all is well and she should make a full recovery. I think everyone might prefer her old hairstyle, though.
Amara
The Tiger of Partali, considered by many to be a crime fighting hero. Seemingly unsatisfied with life after stamping out crime on her home planet, recorded conversations point to Amara heading to Pandora, both as a means of dispensing justice and finding out more about her siren origins.
While capable with most weapon types, Amara prefers close range, "the closer the better" as quoted by her, weapons such as shotguns and SMGs, though primarily her fists. Her siren power has been designated "phasetrance", which allows her to summon spectral figures to perform various combat moves.
Commander's Note
I am not ashamed to admit that I acted like a little fangirl when I first met Amara. She just has that celebrity energy and aura around her, almost impossible to resist. And yes, I did get her autograph.
Tyreen Calypso
[Archivist's note: Most of this info was acquired though their media accounts and vault hunter testimony, we cannot verify all of it's authenticity.] Born on Nekrotafeyo with her twin brother Troy, supposedly to the first vault hunter, Typhon DeLeon. Repaired Typhon's ship and left to Pandora, where they slowly accrued a cult following of bandits and psychos, before forming the Children Of the Vault. Tyreen was reportedly slain by vault hunters at the Great Vault.
Tyreen's siren power was designated "phaseleech", for it's ability to leech living things, as well as powers of other sirens, leaving crystalized husks in the aftermath.
Commander's Note
Possible family issues aside, it was impressive how she managed to wrangle such a large following. That being said, the bitch got what was coming to her.

Chapter Text
SUMMARY
Claiming to have the most accurate weapons in the six galaxies, Hyperion manufactures hundreds of thousands of modular weapon varieties, as well as robust mech and robot series such as loader bots and the more infamous claptrap units.
KNOWN/PROMINENT MEMBERS
- Harold Tassiter: Former President and CEO
- Mr. Blake: Vice-President
- Handsome Jack: Former CEO
- Rhys Strongfork: See [ATLAS CORPORATION]
- Vaughn: See [CRIMSON RAIDERS]
- Nisha: Gunslinger
- Wilhelm: Enforcer
- Timothy Lawrence: Body Double
- Angel: Siren
- Loader Bot: Loader Bot
Harold Tassiter
Former CEO of Hyperion, he fired and re-hired "Handsome" Jack multiple times before and during the Dahl: Lost Legion incident. Was eventually killed by Jack via strangulation, his goatee was reportedly taken as a trophy.
Commander's Note
Ahh, the fickle nature of corporate slime. I have instigated more than one corporate civil war in my lifetime, it is always satisfying to watch them tear each other apart to reach the top of the corpse pile... even if in this particular case, he was replaced with Handsome Jack.
Jeffrey Damien Blake
Current senior president of Hyperion's mercenary relations and tourism divisions. Was acting vice president during Handsome Jack's endeavor to open the Vault of the Warrior, is assumed to have become acting president after Jack's death.
Commander's Note
A reliable no.2 by all accounts, he must have some good tricks up his sleeve if he has stayed in such a high position unchallenged.
Handsome Jack
Originally a programmer stationed on orbital platform Helios, "Handsome" Jack rose to the position of CEO after successfully stopping the destruction of Elpis from Dahl's Lost Legion, being directly involved in the death of former CEO Harold Tassiter, as well as uncovering several vaults and creating an early monopolization of the mineral Eridium. Was killed by vault hunters while attempting to open/control the Vault of the Warrior on Pandora.
Commander's Note
I have no adequate words to describe what a complete scumbag Handsome Jack was, but the galaxies are a better place now that he is gone, that is certain.
Nisha Kadam
A heavy reputation for killing bandits, Nisha was hired with several other vault hunters by Handsome Jack, to find and secure a vault on Elpis. After settling affairs, she was granted power by Hyperion over the Pandora town of Lynchwood, serving as their sheriff. She was reportedly killed by vault hunters in a duel, contracted to kill her by other vault hunter, Brick.
A deadly gunslinger, she preferred dual wielding pistols, Jakobs revolvers in particular; as well as enjoying use of a bullwhip, on friend and foe alike.
Commander's Note
They shot the sheriff, but they did not shoot the deputy... which ultimately, saved her life. I have been keeping tabs on her, it seems she has decided to lick her wounds and shack up with pirates. Such a fiery spirit to be given large a dose of humility, I do hope she does not do anything foolish with the rest of her life.
Wilhelm
The galaxies' most famous mercenary, Wilhelm was hired by Handsome Jack alongside Nisha, Aurelia and Athena. Known for his addiction to cybernetics, he aimed to convert to a full-on robot, which was almost accomplished with help from the Hyperion corporation and Handsome Jack. He was killed by vault hunters on Pandora, in a plot of Jack's machination which was ultimately unsuccessful.
Having large amounts of combat experience, Wilhelm was able to use almost any weapon available to him. His preferred method of combat was with robots, utilizing combat drones in varying support roles.
Commander's Note
A very capable mercenary, it was a real shame Handsome Jack got his hooks into the man... machine, Vladof could have used his services over the years.
Timothy Lawrence
According to restricted Hyperion records, Timothy Lawrence was made to be a body double for Handsome jack; designated Doppleganger 21-C, in exchange for paying off student loans. Last known sighting of "Not-Jack" was at Hyperion owned casino, the "Handsome Jackpot".
Combat reports from Elpis indicate him to be supposedly competent with Hyperion firearms, as well as utilizing digi-clone tech for support.
Commander's Note
I feel sorry for the boy, having the six galaxies' worst person permanently etched into your body, face and very DNA. Maybe some day the universe will be kind to him, and I do hope that happens. Student loans of all things should never infict this kind of pain, to anyone.
Angel
[Archivist's note: Everything we know was either discovered by vault hunters, or recovered from damaged archives fom Helios.] Daughter of Handsome Jack, Angel was discovered to be a siren at an early age. Reportedly isolated in Control Core: Angel, she was forced to use her abilities to help Handsome Jack manipulate events on Pandora. Was supposedly killed by vault hunters assaulting Control Core: Angel, along with Crimson Raider founder, Roland.
Although no combat abilities were noted, Angel's designated "Phaseshift" power allowed her to control and manipulate almost any electronic or mechanical object, as well as bypass a myriad of software security designs.
Commander's Note

That poor girl, physically and emotionally abused by the worst father in the six galaxies... if he could even be called that. I have covert agents watching over her, but that anarchistic redhead seems to be doing a good job of it by herself.
Loader Bot
A unique Hyperion Loader, both in current design and personality, Loader Bot aided former employees Rhys and Vaughn throughout their involvement of events around the Vault of the Traveler.
Able to be modularly equipped with several weapons, including quasar grenades, rocket launchers, machine guns and/or riot equipment, Loader Bots are a relatively cheap yet effective battlefield unit.
Commander's Note
A dependable companion, so long as you remain on his good side, that is. He and that Gortys are like two peas in a pod, though Loader is much more... stoic than his companion.

SUMMARY
Atlas has been known to supply and build almost anything and everything, yet still struggle to stay afloat. While initial success of reverse engineering Eridian technology brought them to the forefront of the corporate ladder, wars with Dahl, Maliwan and Hyperion, along with the failure to secure interests on Pandora lead to their downfall, and were only brought back proper after the destruction of Hyperion created openings in the market.

General Alphonso Knoxx
A career Crimson Lance soldier, Knoxx was reportedly the first soldier from the Lance to achieve rank of general. Forced to Pandora by his "superior" officer Admiral Mikey, he cooperated with the infamous Lance Assassins in an attempt to hold control over the planet, which ultimately failed. Reports and testimony indicates that Knoxx attempted to commit suicide before being interfered by vault hunters, of whom he then fought and was killed by.
Among the general's recovered notes and items, were details of Atlas' old promotion system, which was quoted by Knoxx as "goddamn nepotism." Also of note was an official report from Knoxx stating that he did not trust his superiors to quote "find their keys if they dropped them into their own pockets."
Commander's Note
A waste of a good leader, I was truly shocked to find out just how incompetent old Atlas really was. No wonder they did not last very long on Pandora.
Commandant Helga Steele
Former leader of the Crimson Lance, Steele attempted to claim the Vault of the Destroyer as Atlas property, however she was unsuccessful and was killed, possibly by the Destroyer itself.
Commandant Steele was also reportedly a siren, however which specific siren designation was unable to be determined.
Commander's Note
The one that started it all, if you follow the pieces. I am curious as to which of the six sirens she was, but unfortunately it will remain a mystery.
Athena
A former member of the Crimson Lance, specifically Omega Squad, Athena was a skilled Lance Assassin for the Atlas corporation. After being manipulated into killing her sister Jess on Pandora, she (as quoted by General Knoxx) "got stabby" and reportedly killed 9 other assassins in revenge, before turning her sights onto Atlas proper. Was later recruited by Handsome Jack to help find and secure a vault on Elpis, as well as a follow-up assignment regarding... Claptrap. Semi-retired to Hollow Point, Pandora with girlfriend Janey Springs, before becoming involved with events regarding the Vault of the Traveler, then married Springs and fully-retired thereafter.
Trained by Atlas to be an elite assassin, Athena was skilled with all manner of weapons and combat types. In particular, she favored her kinetic Aspis shield and plasma Xiphos sword for CQC. Also possesses a supposed photographic memory, able to recall past events with great detail.
Commander's Note
A truly fearsome, yet damaged individual. While I might say her revenge plot against all of old Atlas was a bit... extreme, I understand the point. I was surprised about her and Janey becoming a thing, but it was something that both of them needed, quite frankly, and they seem to be better for it. However, I can still see that lust for danger and adventure in her eyes, so I will make an effort to toss the occasional bone her way. Well paid of course, the best deserves nothing less.
Rhys Strongfork
Former Hyperion Employee along with friend Vaughn, Rhys would inadvertently set in motion events that would culminate in the Vault of the Traveler being found and opened, as well as the revival of the Atlas corporation. Later becoming CEO of Atlas, Rhys would defend against an aggressive Maliwan merger, over acquisition of Promethea's hidden vault; as well as countering galactic machinations of the Children Of the Vault, both events being related.
Has considerable resources and allies at his disposal, including notable vault hunters and the Crimson Raiders. Also invests and creates new technologies, such as the Viper Drive.
Commander's Note
A true underdog story, the man truly has come far from being a Hyperion desk jockey. I have been unable to track down this "Fiona" that has been referenced in some of his recordings, but I will keep my eyes open. In the meantime, Operation: Hearth Fire has proven to be a successful indicator that he may be willing to work with Vladof, but only time will truly tell.
Dr. Cassius Leclemaine
Originally discovered by Athena alongside Rhys, Dr. Cassius was the head researcher at Atlas' Bio Dome facility. At some point before the "New Pandora" incident, Cassius was found and instructed by Col. Hector, formerly of the Dahl corporation, to create a spore-based gas to infect Pandora. He eventually realized what Hector's plan was and synthesized an antidote for the vault hunters opposing Hector, at the cost of his life.
Commander's Note
Some people do not realize that not all progress is good, the cost of which may not be felt until it slaps them in the face. I am glad he was not one of those people.
Gortys
Created by the Atlas corporation to find and open the Vault of the Traveler, the Gortys project remained incomplete by the time of their collapse. She was completed and activated at some point after the death of Handsome Jack, by former Hyperion employee Rhys Strongfork, who would later become the CEO of Atlas.
Gortys' abelites were based on the opening of the Vault of the Traveler, while also combating the creature that would emerge from it. She has possibly been upgraded for non-vault activities/combat since the event, however evidence has been unable to be ascertained.
Commander's Note
Oh, Gortys is just so adorable. Makes me want to pick her up and give a firm hug... with permission, of course.

Chapter Text
SUMMARY
Creators of the ECHOnet, Mercenary Day and most of the infrastructure on Pandora, Dahl has built it's reputation on being a rugged, reliable and straightforward military corporation. It has also been directly and indirectly responsible for most events on Pandora, namely the mass abandonment of of personnel and equipment on the planet; which created a large number of displaced residents turned bandits and scavengers, as well as the Crackening on Pandora's moon, Elpis.
KNOWN/PROMINENT MEMBERS
- Col. Zarpedon: Former Commander
- Axton: Former Dahl Sgt.
- Felicity: Dahl Ship AI
- Patricia Tannis: See [CRIMSON RAIDERS]
- Col. Hector: Former Commander
Colonel Tungsteena Zarpedon
Originally one of the commanding officers on Elpis during the Crackening, Col. Zarpedon was left behind along with many other Dahl personnel, who then formed the Lost Legion. It was believed shortly after, that Zarpedon gained access to a vault on Elpis that Dahl had been studying. Several years later, the Lost Legion assaulted Hyperion orbital platform Helios, after Hyperion and one Handsome Jack had re-discovered the vault vault, most likely to deny access to it. Zarpedon was killed by Handsome Jack and several hired vault hunters, the assault on Helios repelled and the Lost Legion defeated by them.
Commander's Note
The ends do not always justify the means, but the hindsight is always clear. Her efforts were valiant, if not misguided, but it is not something anyone can change now. At least Elpis was spared... mostly.
Axton
Formerly a Sergeant in the Dahl corporation's military, the Hieronymous native was discharged for numerous breaches of orders and conduct. Was reportedly lured to Pandora by Handsome Jack via Vault Hunter advertisements, later surviving an assassination attempt by the same man. He then joined the Crimson Raiders and eventually killed Handsome Jack, before unofficially parting ways.
Proficient with all manner of firearms and explosives, prefers Dahl weaponry due to past experience. Also utilizes Sabre turrets to great effect, as well as a tomahawk for CQC.
Commander's Note
The glory hound. Do not get me wrong, Axton is an effective soldier, particularly devastating when deployed as a commando, but he is far too much of a hammer, and almost incapable of being a scalpel.
Felicity
A former military grade AI from the Dahl ship Drakensburg, Felicity was rescued by Handsome Jack and several vault hunters, who needed an AI for creating a robot army to retake the orbital platform Helios. She was forcibly installed to a Hyperion constructor bot and her identity erased, but not before attacking the vault hunters in retaliation for her "execution".
Commander's Note
In this case, the needs of the many outweighed the needs of the few, to an extreme degree. As part of a personal project, I personally spent a week combing the Drakensburg for data and information, hopefully I will one day have enough to rebuild Felicity's personality... just so she can have the last laugh against Handsome Jack.
Colonel Hector
Former commander of various Dahl forces, Hector and his men were trapped and abandoned on Pandora, when the corporation left them for dead on the planet, twice. At some point after the defeat of Handsome Jack, He and his men were discovered by Dr. Cassius Leclemaine, who aided them in creating a spore-based gas, unknowingly, to further Hector's goal of making Pandora a "paradise" for his men. While initially successful in infecting several areas of the planet, as well as capturing the Crimson Raiders' homebase Sanctuary I, the Raiders pushed back, created a cure with the help of Dr. Cassius and killed Hector, destroying Sanctuary in the process.
Commander's Note
Yet another case of lost souls on Pandora, mixed in with an awfully familiar scenario to Zarpedon. Dahl really made the planet a shithole, and yet they still have yet to feel the consequences of their actions... yet.
