Chapter Text

In a world where magic was an integral part of many lives, it was also a tool and an occupation. People who use magic as their occupation to earn money were referred to as wizards and they belonged to organizations, known as a guild. 

In a neutral country of 17 million, there are many guilds scattered throughout the land but one stands high over the rest.

It is a guild from which various legends were once born...Or rather, will continue to be born long into the future...

And its name is:

Fairy Tail!

"Ehhhh?! What do you mean Casimir isn't back! Last time, he wasn't here as well!" Natsu whined loudly.

Lucy, Happy and Gray watched him and Mirajane converse about a young man named Casimir.

"Well, Cassie came back when you, happy and Lucy left for a job. And then he also left for another job." 

"Well, which job!? I am gonna go there too!" Natsu yelled.

"It is a S-Class quest. And you are not allowed to go there." 

Mirajane smiled at Natsu but Lucy thought that for a moment, Mirajane's smile might not be that delicate as she thought but Lucy shook the thoughts out of her head as she knew Mirajane was a gentle woman. 

"Who is Casimir-san, exactly? I don't know.....both Natsu and Gray mentioned this girl a lot of times before." She questioned no one but herself.

'The way Natsu and Gray were about this Casimir person...and fighting over them.....then shouldn't that make the person a girl? But I swear the person seems so familiar to me, I wonder why…' Lucy thought .

"CASIMIR IS A MAN!" Lucy felt her hair blow on her face from the shouts that came from all directions.

"Of course, Cassie-chan is the most beautiful and one of the powerful male wizards of this guild! He is the Moon Fairy of Fairy Tail and is very popular!" Happy gushed loudly, and Lucy swore she saw his eyes having hearts in them.

"You don't know him? After all, He was a very popular model. I thought all girls...no…everybody in this city knew about him even if he doesn't do modeling anymore." Gray had a bizarre expression on his face.

"Wait....Moon Fairy!?” Lucy exclaimed and felt her heart beat faster.

“ Isn't Casimin his name? The Casimin? The Moon Prince of Fairy Tail? THAT CASIMIN!!! The beauty with luscious caramel blond hair and ever-smiling eyes that resembles the moon? The once in a while wizard with an ancient magic of the moon? The delicate and perfect Moon Fairy, Casimin!!??! I was waiting so long to meet him!!! I can't believe that I was so dumb to not realise that Casimin and Casimir were the same person!!" She continued exclaiming in one breath.

Now, It was Lucy whose eyes had hearts in them.

"Well...I guess...you know a lot about him then.... except his real name." Gray sweatdropped.

"His real name is Casimir. Casimin is a misspelling of his name." Happy explained.

Lucy was too gone to process his words as she had a lovestruck expression on her face and had her hand clasped together, as if she was ready to fly.

Natsu had a rare unreadable expression on his face, Gray tsked and Happy giggled loudly.

"Another one gone...huh?"

"Well, it's not that he talks that much anyway, he wouldn't notice someone...like her."

"Wait!! What was that supposed to mean?!"

"Well, I even thought Casimir was a girl when we first met. His beauty and sonorous voice were so breathtaking and otherworldly, I wanted to have him for myself. But, I am not interested in men and he is a…nevermind." Loke came out of nowhere and babbled dramatically.

He then recovered and stared at Lucy with a flirtatious gaze.

"But if you and I…we could be in the team with love, just you and I. You are such a beautiful lady that I can't even look at you with my naked eyes without becoming blind." He flexed his sunglasses and Lucy sweatdropped and rejected him.

But as his eyes wandered around and his gaze fell to her waist, or more specifically to the jingling keys bound to her waistband. He turned pale in fear and stopped talking and pointed to her waist.

"Wait.. you...are a...celestial wizard?!" Loke said slowly and had a terrified expression on his face.

"Huh?"

"Yeah. She's got, like a bull and a crab and others." Happy munched his fish.

"AHHHH!!! What a cruel fate!! First, Casimir is a man and this girl is a celes....celestial wizard!" Loke screamed as he moved away from Lucy.

"Sorry! I don’t think we are going to work out." He ran away with tears on his face.

“When was there ever an ‘us’?” Lucy sweatdropped.

"Loke isn’t good at dealing with Celestial Wizards. I think something happened involving a girl in the past." Mirajane explained.

Lucy was about to say something but her thoughts were stopped when she was knocked out by Natsu who fell on top of her after being punched by Gray.

“Idiot! It wasn’t my fault, you missed him! Stupid firebrain!” Gray spat out.

Natsu got up and punched Gray and they threw various childish profanities at each other.

“Talking underpants!”

”Dimwit!”

“It’s third-grader time.” Lucy got up and sweatdropped.

“They are the same as always.” Happy chirped.

The watching guild members all laughed with amusement and fondness at the antics of their other guild members and Lucy also found herself smiling at such a scene.

But the laughing came to a halt, when Loke came back and opened the door with a grim expression.

“Oh crap, Natsu!!! Gray!!!” 

“Erza is back!” 

“ARGH!”

“ERZA’S BACK!!” They shivered in fear.

Other guild members had similar expression of fear and terror as well.

“I think I am gonna…go home.” Loke stated.

Loud sounds of footsteps could be heard nearby, and a beautiful red haired mage entered Fairy Tail with a giant horn on her right shoulder that she supported with one hand.

She placed the horn on the ground creating a loud noise, and she looked around the guildhouse, seemingly searching for someone but when she couldn't find him, she directed her gaze on the other guild members.

“I am back. Is the master and Casimir present at this moment?" She questioned.

"Welcome back! Master is attending the regular meeting and Casimir-san is out for a job."

"I see…." She replied.

"Ezra-san…what's that monstrous thing?" Someone questioned while pointing at the horn beside Erza.

"I subdued a demon and the locals decorated the horn and gave it to me as a souvenir." Ezra replied.

"Is there a problem?" She stared.

"No—Not at all!!!"

"A demon she subdued huh…" 

"Whoahhh"

"Anyways guys…" Ezra placed her hands on her waist.

"I heard you've been causing trouble again. Even if the Master forgives you, I won't." She had a fierce gaze in her eyes while speaking calmly. 

"Who…is she?" Lucy was flabbergasted.

"She's Erza and very strong." Happy explained.

"Cana…that's an inappropriate drinking posture." Erza gazed at Cana who immediately stopped drinking.

She then started criticizing other guild members one by one. Bijeeter with his dance, Wakaba with his cigarette, Nab with his indecisiveness and sighed when it came to Macao.

All of them had black lines over their faces.

"You guys give me so much trouble. I won't say anything for today." She sighed.

'I think she already said a lot…'  Lucy thought.

"Is she a disciplinary enforcer or something…? Lucy questioned.

"She's Erza!" Happy replied.

"By the way, are Natsu and Gray here?" She asked Happy.

"Aye!" Happy pointed to Natsu and Gray who had stopped fighting a long time ago and were unwillingly hugging each other.

"H-hey, Erza. W-we're b-being g-g-good to each other…as always." Gray stuttered as sweat covered his body.

"Aye." Natsu had a similar condition.

"Natsu became like Happy!!!" Lucy was shocked.

"I see…best friends do fight once in a while. But I'd rather see you two being good to each other like that all the time." She nodded.

"Ah…no…like I've been telling you all this, we're not best friends or anything like that." Gray still had his arms on Natsu's shoulders.

"Aye." Natsu agreed.

"I've never seen Natsu acting like this!" Lucy was surprised.

"Both Natsu and Gray are scared of Erza." Mirajane drew a chart with a magic pen.

"Natsu picked a fight with her before and got beaten up. And she found Gray walking around naked and beat him up, too. And for Loke, he was hitting on Erza and nearly got himself killed. Casimir is one of the rare ones who isn't scared of her, and Erza most probably wouldn't ever hurt him." 

"Oh…" Lucy sweatdropped.

"By the…since you mentioned Casimir-san. It seems like Erza-san favors him a lot." 

"Is it that they are dati…" Lucy accidentally blurted out her thoughts and immediately covered her mouth.

"NO!!" Once again, Lucy hair felt her hair blow on her face from the shouts that came from all directions.

Lucy sweatdropped and thought no matter how perfect and good-looking Casimir-sama is, aren't they too crazy about him? 

After five seconds, Mirajane only said 'No, of course they are not dating' with a forced smile.

"Since Casimir is absent I have no choice and it is an urgent matter," Erza sighed.

"Natsu, Gray. You'll come with me right? I need your help and your power." Her voice echoed throughout the guild hall and everyone in the guild was surprised at her words.

"Wait!!!"

"Woah…Erza is teaming up with someone who isn't Casimir?" 

"Well, I can't believe this…"

"Gray, Erza and Natsu. They are really one hell of a trio." 

Guild members started chatting and murmuring amongst each other and Lucy looked at Mirajane who had a thoughtful expression on her face.

"We'll go tomorrow. I'll tell you the details along the way." Erza decided and her expression had left no room for argument.

After a day had passed and the sun had already risen, Mirajane had convinced Lucy to go along with Gray, Erza, Natsu and Happy to prevent arguments. And now, she was tending to her loud and cheerful guild members but her smile became brighter and eyes sparkled a dark blue when the front door of the guild open and a familiar figure walked in.

"Well, well. It looks like I am a little too late." A sonorous voice reminiscent of a music fairy echoed in the hall and most members were almost bewitched by the young man in front of them.

"Casimir, Welcome back! You have grown more manly than before!"

"Cassie, what's up? Wanna drink with me?"

"Hey, Casimir, how was the job? Did you beat the demons?"

The guild exploded into cheers, hellos and good-natured questions as they smiled at their S-Class Wizard, whose eyes twinkled at the sight of his welcoming guildmates. 

"Cassie-chan!!! You're back!" Mira's eyes had stars in them as she ran towards Casimir and embosomed him into a hug.

"Mira, good to s-see y..you too but…I can't breathe—hauh!"

Mira let him go from her embrace and Casimir smiled at her before gazing at the rest of the guild.

"Good Morning to you guys! Ah, yes, Elfman but you just saw me yesterday? Cana, let's have a drink—" Casimir smiled as he replied and chatted with his guildmates.

After he was done, he sat on a chair attached to a counter and asked Mira for some drinks.

"By the way, did Erza leave already on her quest?" He questioned 

"Yes, they just went an hour ago… Cassie-chan, Erza asked you to go with her at first, right?" 

"Yes…she had sent me tons of letters but unfortunately I was quite busy….but now, I have to help her out." He smiled.

"And about that new recruit…Lucy, was it?"

"Yes, she also went with Erza, Gray and Natsu."

"Wait…wait.. wait! Natsu, Gray and Erza?! In the same sentence?" Casimir laughed loudly.

"Then, I have to see this." Casimir stood up from the chair and put down his finished drink on the table.

"Wait! Cassie-chan! Didn't you just went on a job!" 

"Don't worry Mira, the moon never rests and is perfectly fine. And afterall, lullabies are the most pleasant when told under a moonlit night." Casimir bid farewell and closed the door of the entrance.

"Wait, Casimir, Erza, Gray and Natsu? Together?" Somebody broke the silence. 

"Casimir is working in a team?"

"No way….then won't they be the strongest team of Fairy Tail?"

"But what did he mean by 'lullabies are the most pleasant when told under a moonlit night' ?"

Chatters and noises broke in the guild and Mirajane held the cup Casimir was holding a while ago, tightly.

'Casimir, even if I know you are strong. I can't…help but worry about you.'

Chapter Text

On a bright sunny day, townspeople were roaming around with various expressions on their faces as they continued on with their day but they were some particular group of people, who were staring at a young man walking on the same street as them.

He was wearing a cloak that covered his body and of his face, except for his full glossy lips that were shaped in a smirk.

At first he looked like an ordinary citizen who just had a strange fashion sense but if one looked closely, they could smell bloodlust coming from him, see the hands that were chapped and had bloody residue and feel that he was slightly limping. Those were the results of him participating in a fight.

'Lullaby, lullaby, I know the name. It was made by that…bitter, vengeful….creature for murder. But then….that Eisenwald men I had beaten up said they had planned to use the staff for massacre. So, did Lullaby go through modification?'  He thought.

Just as the young man was thinking and analyzing, a sudden gust of wind made the cloak covering his face drop to his shoulder.

The group of people who were staring at the young man suddenly blushed at his handsome appearance and clear eyes that shone and sparkled.

'But no worries, there are no songs I cannot overcome…and I should catch up with the dynamic trio plus the new addition, Lucy and Happy.'

Casimir smirked and the group of people who were eyeing him suddenly lost track of the young man who seemed to vanish into thin air.

In a part of the Clover Town, a building was placed with a backdrop of green forests and snowy mountains, it was the regular meeting site of guild masters.

"Makarov-chan, I like the wizards of your guild, they are so lively! I heard they had beaten an influential man somewhere." The guild leader of Blue Pegasus, Bob spoke with a sweet tone. He was a bald man who wore a dress and had makeup on. 

"That's Lucy! She's good, especially her boobs!" Makarov exclaimed.

"Kyaah!!"

"It's good to be lively but aren't your guys overdoing things? I heard the council said Fairy Tail will one day smash an entire city into smithereens." Goldmine, the guild leader of Quatro Cereberus commented.

"I want to be smashed into smithereens by Lucy's boobs." Makarov blushed.

"My~ don't hit on your mages, okay?" Bob lightly blushed and placed his hand on his cheek

Suddenly, a blue bird came flying in with a letter attached to its feet.

"Makarov-sama, you have a letter from Mirajane-sama." It spoke.

Just as Makarov opened the letter, a hologram of Mirajane popped out and she thanked him for attending the regular meeting. Her beautiful appearance made many guild masters swoon and drool over her.

"Here is our poster girl, Mirajane, Grab some eye candy boys!" Makarov pointed out.

"We have wonderful news since you have been gone." Mirajane raised her hands in excitement.

"Oh?"

"Erza formed a team with Natsu and Gray. Of course, Lucy and Happy are there too. And! Casimir will also be joining the team!" She cheered.

"!!!"

"Don't you think it's wonderful? I think this might very well be the strongest team in Fairy Tail. I thought I'd better inform you of this. So I wrote you a letter. See you then!" Mirajane' hologram disappeared after her enthusiastic talk.

But unlike her excitement, Makarov made an expression that was more grim as the minute passed.

"Makarov!!!"

"Kyaah!!" 

"What happened?!"

Guild leaders questioned with concern in their voices as Makarov slipped to the floor with a dead expression..

'G-goodness gracious!!! Now they might really destroy an entire town! The meeting will end today and I will return tomorrow, please…please! Don't do anything drastic!' Makarov was trembling in fear.

At the other side of the town, murmurs erupted outside the train station where many people were present with their thoughts wandering in circles. They were confused and scared.

"What's going on inside?!" Someone murmured

"Military personnel went in, but they haven't come out yet." A man dazedly replied

"Have they been defeated by the terrorists?" Another person asked.

"By the way, the wind's very strong today…"

Just as the townspeople were talking, a young woman in armor walked to the podium.

"Look!! Someone's coming out!" Someone pointed at Erza.

"You!! You're the one who barged in earlier. What's going on inside?" The announcer asked Erza.

But she didn't reply and instead snatched the loudspeaker, making the announcer confused.

"If you value your life, leave immediately!!! The station is occupied by evil wizards!!! One of them is ready to cast a spell that will kill everyone around here!!!! Evacuate as far away as possible!!" Erza announced through the loudspeaker.

All townspeople standing were frightened and ran away with bated breaths.

"Hey! Why are you making people panic?" The announcer asked.

"It's better than to see them die. What I just said is the truth. Of course we are doing our best to prevent it. But we can't guarantee your safety, so it's best for you to evacuate, too."

The announcer and the guard standing beside him ran away and Erza was left alone to her thoughts.

"The Lullaby is a forbidden magic that kills whoever is exposed to its melody. And Erigor is planning to commit mass murder using that. You must be thinking that since there are no one here, he won't have a target but what if I tell you the target wasn't the citizens?"

A sonorous voice interrupted Erza from her thoughts, as Erza widened her voice and turned around to see a familiar face who looked like he had been walking for a while.

"Casimir!" 

"This is what you were thinking, right Erza? I had some gun with the Eisenwald guys and they gave me some interesting information." Casimir smiled.

Casimir wanted to talk more but he flinched as he felt a heavy gust of wind surround him and Erza.

"Thi—this is…! The station is surrounded by wind!!!" Erza was startled.

"But, Casimir….what do you mean if the target isn't the citizens then is it the…."

"Hmm…what are two flies doing over here?" A half-naked man with white hair and an intimidating face loomed at the sky, he was Erigor, the Shinigami.

"Titania…and the Moon Fairy!" Erigor grinned.

"Erigor….." Casimir's gaze darkened.

He stared at Erza who had gotten his message by looking at his eyes alone.

Before Erigor could speak, a beam of moonlight almost blinded him but he managed to keep himself in tact by using the wind barrier but Erza and Casimir managed to get out of his sight after distracting him.

"The sphere of guiding moonlight will only make him dazed for a few minutes! Let us follow Kageyama! The real target are the guild masters attending the regular meeting! I will tell you more in the way." He and Erza ran quickly.

Meanwhile, Natsu who was running to find Erigor was followed by a shadow, it was Kageyama.
