It was a cold evening in Snazhnaya, the last sun rays making the snow shine like a unique diamond, but, even with the beautiful view outside the windows of his room, Childe could only look at his partner right now.
Capitano was far taller than him, much more broad too, what, in Childe's opinion, made him the perfect hugging pillow if you ask.
He run his fingers through the raven dark hair, watching as his lover rested his head over his chest breathing calmly, the ginger touched the scar in Capitano's eye, having him finally opening his eyes
"How did you get this scar?" Ajax asked, receiving a confused sound from Capitano that was barely awake, having been on his partner's cuddles for a while
"This one? I felt when i was sleeping." Ajax expected some sort of laugh, but Capitano was only serious, rubbing one of his eyes in an attempt to wake up. In the end childe just agreed by touching the scar again, it went from his eye to his cheek
"What? Disappointed?" Capitano said with a silly smile, Leaning on to kiss the pout that childe had made without realizing it
"No, just, being you i expected some major fight history"
"Hm"
He muttered, and it was Ajax's turn to settle into his lover's arms, Capitano sat up with Childe on his lap, kissing his collarbone before looking up at him.
"If it makes you happy, i cursed more my dresser than i did in any other fight"
The redhead laughed in agreement, laying his face on Capitano's shoulder.
"And this one, how did you get it?" The taller one said, wrapping his hand around Ajax's waist where he had a long scar, Capitano knew it by heart. It ran from the middle of his waist to the end of his hips.
"I got it in the Abyss."
"Oh, kinda looks like a bith mark now"
"You think?"
"Yeah"
Childe hummed, lifting his face and pulling away so he could look, but not before biting Capitano's chin
"It kinda does though"
The brunette nodded, squeezing his hand that still rested on the smaller one's waist, never failing to make childe blush, Capitano had always taken a special interest in holding Childe like that. It was indisputable that that position, hugging Ajax in her lap, was his favorite. Of course, Childe loved it too.
They were always very touchy, Childe from the beginning, it took Capitano a while to open up and start being just as affectionate. He would never forget their first interactions, Childe always seemed to look for a reason to be touching him in some way, adjusting his uniform, the accidental touches of his hands when they had to read a document together, the way Ajax was always embarrassed afterwards
Part of him wondered how the other Harbingers would react if they knew the two of them were like that, but really, he wouldn't mind showing off Childe around. He was just so beautiful in his eyes, he still couldn't believe that someone this amazing had said "i love you too" after Capitano accidental confection
But, in the end of the day just this mattered, they two, in each other's arms, safe.
"Babe?"
"Hm?"
"I love you"
Capitano smiled, taking Childe's chin and taking his lips, kissing him long and calmly, as if the world was theirs alone.
"I love you too"
